I use my scooter for photography too. I always imagine my self faceplanting straight on my camera while trying to photograph and ride one handed. I recommend everyone try it.

The “handles” look like bicycle style grips, should be able to change them easily. You can get a pair of lock on grips for like 5-10$

Yeah I have the levy plus (same exact model rebranded) the battery cradle is a terrible design as the cradle wears down over time and the battery will move when you hit a bump and spark, and you'll notice a stutter/hesitation. My connectors actually melted and I just ended up hard wiring the battery to the controller.
In fact, you can fasten the battery tightly to the stem with a velcro tape to keep the battery from wobbling.

The Turbo Ant barely got up that last hill and you weigh next to nothing. I weigh around 88 kg (if my conversion is correct) and would never make it. Is there a listed maximum weight capacity?

for a flat tire , just apply slime in advance, so in case your tire get flat, i fix by it self. and still you will have the comfort of a non tubeless tire.

A locking solution for your battery could be the zip lock. It produced by a company called hiplok. It’s a zip tie styled lock. Hope it helps

do not buy anything that has no suspension, you'll fuck up your knees and back
emotors are a drug, you won't be able to do 2-3 day breaks for your knees and back to recover, you'll ride everyday and the damage will accumulate
beware boys, i got full suspension ebike and i regret every day i rode something else
on a battery safety issue - i did 2 years without any lock, just left it outside and went to the cinema

I would say it depends on how much you ride it, and how rough you ride it, and if you were even in shape before you started riding it. Also shoes are pretty important, even for riding, because comfier shoes with softer soles are going to dampen things. So one should wear walking/running shoes even when on a scooter. I walk at least 2 miles a day, and that's just for the activity of walking, not in total. So I'd imagine a kick scooter wouldn't be rougher on a body than that, as long as it has real inflated rubber wheels and not those hard solid wheels. I think for most people, they want a scooter for as cheap as possible, while still being decent. Because scooter thefts are high. And full suspension scooters run at least $800-$1500, and are larger and harder to carry around. I'd also imagine thieves would be more likely to target a clearly expensive kick scooter, so that fancy suspension would just attract thieves. These thieves are soo brazen they will walk up in broad daylight, right in front of you, and try to steal them, because there's very little punishment in doing so. They get a slap on the wrist if they are caught, and even trying to stop them can result in YOU getting charged with a crime. So most people are hesitant to buy really good scooters as a daily commuter.
What they really need to do is make all scooters trackable, not easily disabled, with a fast response time from police, with immediate GPS sharing so that police can quickly track down the stolen scooter. The system should be so smooth that police are on the case and tracking the scooter in less than 10 minutes, along with laws passed that carry heavy penalties for theft of scooters, a year in prison minimum, and a $25,000 fine.
That scooter looks nice, but is it a full frame or M43? Also I do not see any flippy screen, so that is a deal breaker.
It is so small and light that why would one steal just the battery when you can take the whole scooter???

Oh man I had that same scooter and the throttle got physically stuck fully open (didn't end well). Maybe make sure that the throttle isn't sticking AT ALL before you give it to your GF.

Come on..this is garbage 😂today I got the kickbike fat max e-step. With a 26 Inch front tyre and 20 inch on the back..disc brakes..sooo stable and strong..it's the best..Segway ninebot second place...thanks for the video..the last hill..it almost broke down man..

Get the upcoming Segway Max G2. It has awesome shocks on it, and they're shrouded under rubber. Only $799 on pre order, but $1500 on release....yeah expensive, but way cheaper to pre order.
