    have owned my 2002 z3 3.0 for almost 3 years and I truly enjoy everything about it. No issues, and I have owned many cars including corvette, Acura NSX, and many classic muscle cars and my BMW will only have another owner when someone pry's my cold dead fingers from the steering wheel.......

      I’ve said it before but something about the Z3 has a feeling that almost no other car can replicate. I’ve met so many people who’ve had lambos, Bentleys, and other high end cars and the Z always has a special spot in their heart for it. I am envious of the fact that you’ve had no issues lol. Mine’s basically the opposite

    I’m curently 18 and I bought my z3 a year ago. Now I gotta say, you get a tremendous amount of fun out of these things and they are very capable vehicle’s. Mine has a lsd in it along with m3 brakes and a lot of performance mods, so it can rly destroy the mountain roads and give you an exhilarating experience.

      Congratulations on getting your Z3, I want to take mine to the mountains but I haven't had the chance yet but when the opportunity comes, I'm looking forward to it.

    We are on our 2nd Z3 as our 1st one got hit and totaled by a F250 which ran a stop light. It was a 1996 with a 1.9 and a 5 speed. Our 2nd is a 2001 with a 3.0i and a 5 speed. We have taken long trips in each of them and they are very comfortable. I would highly recommend the BMW Z3 if you want a great looking little roadster that is well built, great looking, a blast to drive and STILL AFFORDABLE! VIVA Z3!

      I'm sorry to hear about your first Z3, but I agree with you 100%. Since filming this video, I've taken this car on some trips and it's been really comfortable through it.

      Hey I’m looking to get a 1998 1.9L 5 spd man Z3 is there any common problems in engine that you had experienced? Sorry about your Z3 😢

    A reason I would say the Z3 is underrated is because it suffers from a large generational gap within the fan base. I think the Z3 looks cool. The majority of Z3 fans are over the age of 40 which hurts the car because most younger people that are active in the car scene don't have one and they tend to buy cars they see most often and lack uniqueness.
    Go to any car meet and the younger people are all going to be running around with chargers, velosters, 350Z, BRZ, or WRX.
    So the Z3 which was a rare car to begin with is just becoming an even more rare car due to lack of interest from other generations. Young car enthusiasts like a car that is easy to modify and has a plethora of modification options and sadly the Z3 lacks modification options when comparing it to an MX5 and other top cars.

      I gotta say, you make a really good point. I've been to a good few car meets and shows and I've only met one other person around my age with a Z3. I think the car getting rarer is one of the reason I call this car a future classic. Comparing to a Miata, you're 100% right, the mod-ability isn't the best for it

    im 22, had my z3 for about 18 months. Picked it up for £2k with 37,000 miles. We've done 10,000 miles together since. Just bought it a hardtop and springs, waiting on some powdercoated style 32 wheels and an exhaust. My least favourite thing is the fact that that is pretty much as far as you can go with modifying a 1.9 unless you can fabricate for boosting, not much aftermarket compared to the mx5. That and the leaky roof seals lol

    • @Phoenixette
      @Phoenixette  Год назад

      Congratulations on your Z3. But you make a good point on the mod ability for the car. I haven't seen too much done to one of these cars in terms of performance without doing something crazy like an engine swap.

      @@Phoenixette there are actually a couple of options. there used to be a dasc supercharger kit for the 318ti (same engine). It's nearly impossible to find now, but pumped power up to nearly 200 bhp. I think the best option is fast road cams. A small company over here called bds motorsport made a n/a 1.9 track car. it absolutely rips

    • @Phoenixette
      @Phoenixette  Год назад

      I just looked up the track car, that thing looks awesome. I haven't actually heard much about a supercharger for this car; more turbos rather.

      There's more for the different engine options. 2.5 and 3l have a few superchargers available that consists of mainly bolt ons

    I love your dedication to the BMW Z3. It is a smile-producing ride, to be sure. I've been smitten with them since they were released back in 1996. I finally got my hands on one six years ago when I acquired my 2000 M roadster, Euro-spec, Japanese export with the S50 engine that produces 321 HP. Here's a video I made of it a short while ago: ruclips.net/video/5mEV9qzou2M/видео.html

      Wow. I didn’t realize that the M roasters had that much power. 130 HP feels crazy in this chassis, I can’t imagine what 321 is like.
