Apparently she wrote the lyrics for all the songs in both SIP and Sunshine? Is so, holy shit, what a talented legend.
She also added the names of the members in the lyrics. That's one of the greatest things in this song IMO

This is my feelings towards LL in a nutshell, the original LL was well written and for a veiwer of the series who wasn't into idols or really just the genre of LL is, I was hooked after finishing S1 of the original, more specifically i was hooked after seeing how Honk was deadset on making her idol group and how much she helped the mebers of Muse in their growth as a person and breaking out people from their shells and be more open,like Eli, Nozomi, Niko, Maki and honestly almost everyone from Muse. ❤
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Honoka's line basically says "It started with Honoka". :')

They are like Kizuna Ai. Started a trend despite struggling through the initial phase, fell off a bit in favour of other groups (like Ai-chan fell off a bit with the V-tuber boom with Hololive and Nijisanji taking centre stage) but retained love from many who started from her.
And on the last performance (Final Lives), they not only go out with a bang, but re-capture the hearts of those that remembered exactly what they loved about them.

With the names of the nine muses in the lyrics, as well as making reference of two of their most iconic songs in it and because it was the last that they performed live, this song is loaded with an indescribable nostalgia, it doesn't matter that the anime has ended or that the group is no longer active, this beautiful music will always remain in our hearts.

Just finished watching love live school idol movie last night. What an emotional journey I went through watching the original love live series for the last couple of weeks. Listening to this song made me cry knowing this would be muse's last song before they disband. Seeing the group dance along with the credits showing their training clothes really added to the emotions I was feeling while watching their last live show. I feel there will never be another school idol group I'll feel the same amount of emotional attachment to like muse (especially Honoka). Now it's on to love live sunshine for me.
I remember listening to this while watching the final live. Hearing this during their Live was sad and I remember I keep crying while singing along with them. The memories with them will always be in my heart.

While this whole song gets me teary-eyed, if I am going to cry when I listen to it, it always happens on the line just before the second chorus "te o futte, motto futte." A weird line to cry over maybe, but whenever I hear the line I always think of μ's telling everyone to wave their hands and dance and be happy rather than sad in their final moment and I just start bawling

Even though I've not even finished SIP yet and only found LL about a month ago, this show has already taught me a much-needed life lesson or two.
Minor one being not to judge books by their cover. I just thought I'd watch it because I thought Nico looked cute and wanted to know the character better. I did not think I'd cry 4 separate times in Season 1 alone from a few plotpoints that hit very close to home, nor did I think I'd come to like all 9 members of Muse. I also figured I would never like the music because I didn't care for Non-English lyrics. And yet, that was proven false as well.
One much bigger lesson I learned from SIP is to live for right now, and cherish what you're doing in the present. You don't know when the present becomes the past. Things you do now may someday be distant memories. People you know and love may eventually be people you don't talk to anymore, for any number of reasons. Nothing is permanent. Friends, family, hobbies, or even your life.
How did Muse trigger this realization? Other than some song lyrics basically saying to live for today, knowing that at the end of the show the members go their separate ways, cherishing the memories but moving to the future. Someday i will have to do the same to the friends I have now, to the life I live now, and this show has helped me ready myself for that day.
The 3rd thing it's taught me is to just _go for it._ Related to Living for what's right now, ready but not scared for later is that you should just do things you want to do. What's the worst that could really happen? And is that worst-case scenario any comparison to the wholesome gains from it?
I struggle with motivation and self-belief. A lot. But LL is ever so slowly moving me to keep doing what I truly want to. Even if I'm *not sure* I want to, I usually do deep inside.
I'm a man of impulses, as evidenced by a cutesy girl with Twintails contributing significantly to something that stands to change my outlook on life itself.
Have been trying to overcome the sadness after finished watching school idol project and the movie by finding other anime to watch. But man, this song just keep appearing inside my mind and the sadness just won't go. NEED HELP😭

This is legit the third time I cried ugly watching anime. The first one was end of S2 Ep12 and the second was S2 Ep13. The only anime that made me cry hard and I absolutely love it. Sunshine and Nijigasaki may have better animation, vocals and character development but this will be my No. 1 Idol anime of all time.

I'll be honest, I'm a fan of u's, but when I heard this song for the first time, the title was Japanese (which I didn't know the translation of).
Now, seeing the translated name and the English lyrics makes me feel empty somehow, and reading the comments brought tears to my eyes. I've only watched the anime until START DASH and changed to playing the Love Live mobile games and listening to my favorite songs they sang on Spotify.
