The 2022 Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed moves to a new home this season as Halmstad Golf Club plays host to the innovative event. Tournament hosts Henrik Stenson and Annika Sorenstam tee it up alongside defending champion Jonathan Caldwell and in-form Ladies European Tour stars Maja Stark and Linn Grant, but will it be a man or a woman lifting the trophy on Sunday? Home favourite Alex Noren is the highest-ranked male player in the field this week as he goes in search of DP World Tour win number 11. Four of those victories came in as many months in 2016 and since then he has claimed two Rolex Series wins at the 2017 BMW PGA Championship and 2018 Open de France. Swede Maja Stark only turned professional last season but to say her introduction to the paid ranks has been successful would be a dramatic understatement. A two-time winner on the LET last season, she added a third title at this year's Women's NSW Open and sits top of the Race to Costa del Sol, with five other top tens from her seven starts. It’s all to play for in Sweden!

Her swing and ball striking are poetry in motion!
Put money on this girl to win a LPGA major in the next 3-5 yrs
Great highlights as usual :)
She has such beautiful and powerful swing.
..."Liz Grant"? I guess that's why they say her first and last name forever and ever afterwards?
just too much talk, jesus they literally have 3 people yapping who never shut up between them.
I wish I could swing a golf club like her. Wow!!!
A handsome perfectly shaped star is born.
Yes her tee's are different from the men's....but that's just common sense....it gives her more chance of winning or any women.... basically if the men played off the shorter tee's they wouldn't be favorites because length wouldn't be needed....but if the ladies played from the men's tee's,they would definitely not win at all, because the men hot the ball so much longer....it has to be fair for a mixed tournament.....I'm personally a very long hitter and I really like playing off the back tees at my club(6800 yards) but the shortest tees reduce it to about 5300....I struggle from these tees although it's shorter....so back to my point,it has to be fair in a mixed tournament....⛳
Amazing!🏌🏼♂️👏🏻👏🏻🏌🏼♂️
More mixed events like that, it’s a great thing for golf! ✨⛳️🏌️♀️🏌️♂️
Should be 2 trophies

Congratulations Linn Grant 🤍💚🙏👍☝️☝️☝️☝️💙☝️

Linn has been playing like a seasoned veteran. Made a big eagle shot on the 11th and birdies on others. When she hit the ball into a bad spot she recovered quickly and made some important pars. I look forward to the final round and hope she wins.
...you trying-out to be a LPGA golf announcer?
@@touristguy87 You trying to be a smart-ass?
@@JP-hs6ii sorry, ape-boy. Carry on
@@touristguy87 Troll somewhere else. a-hole.
@@JP-hs6ii ...oh, listen to you, the Voice of Normalcy and Reason.
Two things, Papa Smurf. First she's 23 and has a boyfriend already, her caddy, who is undoubtedly also Swedish and speaks her native language.
Second this is not the LPGA Golf Announcer Audition Studio. So grow up yourself, forget about your fantasies involving complimenting your way into her life, and get a life of your own, somewhere. Somehow. Not hanging around a 23 year old 5 time winner on the LPGA tour.
nice play idol Linn Grant
Go LIV TOUR
Same tee, men & women...no double standard...possible young golfer too.
anyone else notice the muscles on her legs
she is drugged.
Ridiculous! Everyone should be playing from the same tees for absolute equality.
Cry a river!
@@otislake3040 you against equality then?
@@deandangerfield9134 run your own tournament with men and women playing from the same tees. You don't determine what the DP World Tour should do.
@@otislake3040 “run your own tournament”. Great comeback
Great point! You must have thought long and hard about that one! Thank god for people like you keeping the world right!
What a round of ⛳ you got to admit though she hits the ball 30 yards closer on every hole every person is more accurate with a closer shot so is it really fair just let the men play from the ladies tee and see what happens
What are you yabbering on about 😅😆
She earned that power. Its her natural power, paired with sound technique and flexibility. Of course it is fair.
@@dapperdank3701 great logic that numbnuts…’natural power, flair and ability’ so let’s give her a head start
The whole point of golf at pro level is that there is no handicapping system

On the *forward tee, from Sweden, Linn Grant…
Brave behind his keyboard, displaying his stupidity and chauvinism, Paolo! Well done!
Its either equal or its not! Different sets of tees is a massive difference in score. Even when men play each other on weekend rounds there are always little discussions/arguments about which tees b/c it has a major effect on scores of male players betting with each other. You cant hit from shorter tees for four rounds and claim you beat the others who played from the back tees. PS....I actually love watching the LPGA and its stars. The ladies game is more like the golf i play so i actually prefer to watch the ladies.
@@hb-ze4ug exactly 💯
The best way to make things equal for men and women to compete against each other is to give them similar approach shots into the greens, if they are hitting similar clubs then it is very fair. How would it be fair for the ladies to be hitting 5 woods against men hitting 5 irons into the same green?
@@hb-ze4ug 'brand is irrelevant at this level, as they are not playing cheap off the rack clubs'...
🤣🤣🤣 everything you said was spot on.. until that statement.
Most amateur golfers i know 95%, have custom fitted clubs. They are far from cheap clubs. Exactly the same clubs the pros on tour use.
@@hb-ze4ug yes, that was my point, the way they’ve done it here seems the most equal
if she wants to claim it as a legit win, play from the same tees
It's called Mixed for a reason.
Mixed as in mixed rules lol
@@iamls360sterriker9 other than different tees for men and women there wasn't any changes in the R&A rules used by the DP World Tour.
Colin, where is your brain? Do you even play golf.. i presume not.
@@dapperdank3701 he’s right
Hope the women’s play from the same tee as the men
Lol they wouldn't even make par
Men are stronger , so would not be fair
You are that threatened by women golf players that you hope the men have an unfair distance advantage due to their genetic ability to hit the ball 50 yards further than women? Weird.
@@Spaxcore men and women are 100% equal for me in every aspect. Giving women shorter tee means that we don’t consider them as equal as men
@@CMBelite-FR lol no. Part of recognising equality is recognising differences. Men and women have completely different genetic makeup. The average men's tour drive is 280 yards, the average women's is 250 yards. So either you recognise the difference or you imply that women aren't reaching their full potential in the sport because they are choosing not to hit the ball as far. If you look at where the players are landing the ball it's in the same part of the fairway, giving them the same distance into the green. The tee difference is just accounting for the strength difference between men and women. Maybe you'd like to see the women being supplemented with testosterone or the men being given blockers so that their biochemistry is equal? Or maybe we can just level out the handicap through a difference in distance.
