Its excellent Paul - very few vlogs for UK shippings and you educated brilliantly about this - I was struggling and now going to apply my store - wishing you all the best and keep it up bro.....
Thanks Paul. Great overview video for me. I've not had the need for weight based shipping but will refer back to this in the future if/when needed. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. Tell me, please, is it OK if I didn't set any shipping rate in the product settings? It looks like everything works OK in the shopping cart without any specific shipping rate set. Thank you.
Thanks Paul. Nice plugin for the free version. The only thing I would like is the label to be separated from the title of the rule. So you can name the rule however you want and be able to identify it without looking the weight column.
Thank you so much! This helped me tremendously! If there are items that are supposed to be free shipping, all I need to do is make them have 0 weight and make the shipping be from 1 gramm up?
Thanks for your video! I have an inquiry about setting up an e-commerce site with weight-based packages. For instance, I plan to offer packages within specific weight ranges like 1g-500g, 501g-1000g, etc. 1. I aim to cap the maximum weight at 2000g, meaning that users can't order beyond this limit. 2. I'd also like to show the weight of each product to the user. 3. It would be helpful to feature a running weight total, showing users their current total weight and remaining allowance. 4. Importantly, I'd like the delivery costs to vary by package weight and delivery country, updating during checkout. I appreciate any guidance you can offer!
Great video. Just been making a site in Cardiff with multi prices and weights. I was going around in Circles. This helped me big time. Thank you matey!
You went a little too fast I had to pause a few times but over all great info and very helpful graphics and walkthrough! Thanks so much. I think I found my new shipping plug in.
This didn't work for the products with the bundle plug-in. Spent some time to figure that out. Switched to Table Rate for WooCommerce by Flexible shipping, and that worked for my case.
Do you have a video for plugin that will check if the volumetric is greater than the KG of the products? because some parcels are bigger in box but lighter in weight so it would be better to charge in volumetric instead of KG not sure if we have this kind of plugin? better if there is also a video for the pro feature which uses the class option and how we can use it.
this was easy but it would be grate if it worked too...i cant see anyting in the cart, it says "it dones not have any shipping to this adress" i think im doing exactly like the video, replayed it alot of times too :/ any suggestions?
Hi WP Tuts, he problem I have is to set up a weight based calculator for shipping selling flooring. I've watched your tuts that got me statted (Thank You) bui now I have a slighly more difficult problem . 1 need to do a calculation where the weight per sq.m of Carpet is multiplied by the total area. The total KG weight then needs to be multiplied by the shipping cost for the total. I also need to input the weight per sq.m for each carpet and have it multiplied to give the total area and the Kg weight thereof. Shipping cost being £23.00 for the first 20kg then £0.53 per kilo thereafter . (No distance calc. to add. For some reason I'm having a durrrr moment even writing a simple formula for this and can't get my head round it.(Maths is not my strong point) Can you help with the proper way I need to lay this out in Shipping in Woo or suggest s suitable plugin? Many thanks in advance. Tony (hanks for the Tuts so far!)
Everything is okay when I caculator total order and shipping fee, But when redirect into Payment page I get_total(), It doesn't include shipping fee? How can I get_total() include order and shipping
This seems much clunkier than the plugin you did a video on in 2020 called "Table Rate Shipping Method for WooCommerce by Flexible Shipping" Is there any advantage to using this plugin instead?
I tried this but it just didn't meet my needs, i ended up trying around 10 plugins and settled on fish and ships. I'm using the free version and it's working brilliant using weight but also with modifiers based on volume so it steps up to a small parcel say when the contents is too big for a large letter etc.
Cheers. I had dreaded this part, you make it easy! Nice tee by the way, perfect combo of both Metallica and cats!
One of the best tutorial for shipping. weight based. Thanks a lot (बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद)
Thank you so much ! You made my day ! Appreciate it ! I made a mistake yesterday when filling one of the forms that's why shipping wasn't working.
Incredibly helpful video! Very clear and concise explanation.
Thanks! This is a great, clear answer to all the most common questions.

Hi. Paul. Can we use it to set free shipping if for example the customer buy products for example over 100 euros ?
Can you do this with dimensions as well as I have products that vary on size and shipping would be cheaper for some than others due to there size.
Thank you so much! Best find of the day. Really saved me coins 😂😂
Once again a great tutorial that has helped me tremendously! Great work!
So helpful. Thanks you.
Perfect Video, Add Multiple Shipping Options too in your Video Title
Hello.Would you know of a way of setting the shipping for UK Mainland only.....Thank you in advance...Ian@Mpac.
Hi Paul,
Can we also add shipping rates according to the radius? Like for 3 miles shipping is free & from 3-5 miles shipping will be 3$.
Hey whenever I go to my shipping cart it says no shipping options found. Please help
