I was always curious to know more about the SORD rig, interesting video. Not a bad piece of gear actually, a rig that is seemingly decently designed. I think with appropriate pouch placement even prone crawling could still be possible by putting the mag carriers out to the sides if one is allowed to do that.
Big step up from the tac vest. Hope they get the new multi terrain issued to more infantry along with this or anything thats more like a plate carrier. A plate carrier and Multi terrain...stoked to look less like a clown in parachute pants! 😂
@@alphaisdank42069 who is they? Active duty? I have 4 friends in service. Two reg force infantry, One armoured Reserve and one combat engi, they all hate them and prefer regular carriers…
One of the new protoype versions of the vest is better improved with two side buckles that detach from the left side (near the front) so you can swim into it better. I have a SORD rig, but there's better out there. A TT mkII is better for dudes eho can buy their own rig, as well as the Tac Tailor 2piece MAV. The SORD is akward to put on/take off and it sags a lot when you load the pouches. Heres hoping they keep the improved version instead of just a straight SORD copy.
There's no reasons for the super tiny size military we are that we cannot be equippted with Plate carriers. You haven't talked about that hedious helmet, I hope to god that's not what we're been issued.. Last critic, whoever thought that putting all the pouches with velcro have not worked into a tactical environment.

I use this rig as a medic attached to light infantry. Works really well.
Thank you Desmond

Why doesn’t Canada just issue normal ass plate carries that can carry 6 mags?
We dont have much funding, but tbh no one knows I guess they like their frag vests.

@@JamsheedRPGgod I'm saying whoever puts in to issue and place the frag vests, I guess they like them alot thats why they havent replaced them
Is that an OTW shirt on the mannequin or and updated CADPAT AR Jacket? Never saw an AR jacket with those pockets before.
Hey Mr. Morgan, I love your content, very informative. My question to you is, have you ever gotten any 16 y/o recruits? Have they passed? (BMQ)
