Not that hard. It's between the 2nd and 3th shortest distance you can race on here in Belgium. Youngsters here go on races to more then 300 miles. But it's a great job from this bird to come home alone from that short distance.
@@youriverstraete4986you just heard him say his first bird to do that. It's never too late to stop hating 🖐️😡🚫 Show us a video from one of your birds 🤷
Normally birds from the same loft fly home together in a flock but this one made a judgement call and broke from the group so that it could arrive home faster, hmm 🤔 Interesting

Yes some never make it back depending on your training. It’s a huge part of being a good handler if they’re able to keep their racing birds and not lose them
We Called it Homer Pigeon in India. But in India Particularly Chennai we had Homer Pigeon that coming from 1000 miles within 4 to 5 Days in a Tournament! BTW Grizzle looks like Strong Boy too 💪
Can you explain all this to me and does it have gps and I heard a beep when it was coming to cage does the tag unlock it if so why would you not want any other birds going in
Oh man.. I dunno where to start..hmm I trained birds to do all those things. That bird didn’t do that naturally. He was taught to do that. It’s definitely not easy.
Wait how did the bird know to do exactly 165mi and how did it do it so quick, and how does it know where to come back to (ie your house) how did it know where u live
@@gpsloft5868 so everyones bird leaves from the same location or approximately from a distance of so many miles .....and then reports back on arrival time. My bird going from florida to georgia might have a worse time in hurricane season for example vs los angeles to san diego on a good day. :)
If you’re in the U.S.,then you go to pigeon.org type in your zip code and look for the pigeon club in your area. Contact the club secretary and hopefully you can get free birds from the members. Good luck man!
Brother I don't know why my pigeons are flying away with other groups..I provide them all facilities still they fly away..now I have only 10 pigeons ..And please make a video to identify male and female pigeons.

@@gpsloft5868 you want to tell me, that you just get the bird, drive with the car to some Random location in let's say 100km radius, release it and the pigeon autaticly for few hours find the home without any visual training, for example to release it at 2km and little by little to increase the distance?
