    1:10 That Bicycle Rider Back design was released in the late 1800’s well before the Art Deco period. It has elaborate flourishes and extra design elements that seem to fall firmly in the Art Nouveau world.
    That being the case, is there something that makes it art deco?

      Hello Lindsay cordial greetings from Dominican Republic. I am a student of Professional Graphic Design, but I can not access your Courses on Udemy because they do not have subtitles in the Spanish Language.

    • @LindsayMarsh
      @LindsayMarsh  Год назад +2

      @@carlosjosec8946 I am really surprised that they have not added Spanish subtitles to my course (but they have added Arabic, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese) They do it based on demand and I do have a lot of Spanish speaking students. I think I will send them an e-mail and see their thoughts on adding auto Spanish subtitles. Also, make sure to check out the website www.domestika.org as a lot of their courses are filmed in native Spanish audio and subtitles.

      @@LindsayMarsh That's right, it has all the subtitles you mention except the Spanish language

    I wonder if this restaurant in Ashville is still standing after Helene this week

    • @LindsayMarsh
      @LindsayMarsh  Месяц назад

      most likely as it was in a higher point in downtown. What got hit the most was the lower lying areas like the art district. I do worry more about it staying open due to the lack of tourism and spending in the area in the coming few months. I live just an hour or two down the road from Asheville and a lot of the roads like I40 are closed until 2028

    I never cared for Helvetica (or Times Roman). I usually preferred to use Futura or Univers, or fonts that approximated them.

    I recently bought 3 of your course on udemy and I don't regret it at all. However, I don't use facebook and I would like to know if you have a discord channel for your students to join? Thank you :)

      Glad you are enjoying the courses so far. I do not have a discord channel but you are not the only person who asked me this question this week. I may need to consider starting one soon. If so, I will post it here, on my instagram and other places to let students know.
