- Here's a chiptune cover of the Treasures of Ruin battle music from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, co-arranged by myself and Rina De Coro!
Rina is a cool friend and skilled chiptune musician person! We've worked together on a couple FamiTracker arrangements of pokemon stuff recently, and she's worked on a bunch of other stuff too. Check out her channel here: @rinadecoro
The track in-game is named "Ruinous Legend", though I don't see that name used on any soundtrack uploads or arrangements on youtube lol

Same. That'd be such a cool addition. I get why it didn't stay, since most of HGSS's 8-bit forms were just the original songs (Not sure of Ho-oh's theme got an 8-bit version or not) and with newer games they'd have to be made from scratch, but still.
I don't need it for every game, but having in remade games like oras and bdsp would've been nice
@@BaconEater666 BDSP does have a "DS Sounds" item you can get from the Hotel at Route 213 after entering the HoF.

This cover triggers my fight or flight instinct, in the way the regis' original theme did (in the best way possible) something about ominous chiptune music paired with staring at a faceless eldritch monster scares the shit outta me, and i love how creepy it all is

Just your average day of seeing Chinese mythological creatures in a region based on Spain.
At least, the theme is a banger. And this arrange is absolutely amazing.

yea that is ridiculous. Spain, outside of the colonial era, had no interactions with the Chinese. why? because the Ottomans regulated trade between Europe and Asia basically. so if we found these in a more middle east or Anatolia inspired region that would make sense, but not over in Spain...
@klortikterra4423 it's a fictional world. It doesn't have to be 1 to 1 with real life.
@@klortikterra4423because of what you just said. They interacted so Paldea got the magic artifacts from "faraway land".
They are hesitant to make a China based region (cause of the beef Japan has with China and such) and so they do chinese inspired Pokemon in other regions that have any kind of cool connection to it.

Yet 1:26 feels whimsical. _Like you're already thinking of the possibilities with these pokémon as you get closer to catching them._

This theme always kinda reminds me of the Unova Legendary theme, sharing the same intensity and mystery to it. Although these Pokemon are the exact opposite to the Swords of Justice. I have a headcanon that the Treasures of Ruin are the sworn enemy of the Swords of Justice.
Yet both are disgusted by humanity's capacity for evil.
