Just ordered a torq locker. Great video. Had our base model 18 in rush spring ranch this weekend an the creek bed climbs had me a little embarrassed since all the rzrs had no problem climbing them.
Yes, only one since install. Passenger side and when we went to remove noticed splines on driver side were twisted. Took awhile to get it all apart. Running rhino 2.0, replaced with them again bc they were warrantied. I will upgrade when it happens again.
@@waltcraft5727 halo 30 is expensive but I am sure worth the money. SuperATV makes a pin locker that is comparable but not as strong. Rhinos held a lot of abuse before they broke. A lot!
@@XpensiveDecisions that's what we were discussing on our x3. Probably going pin locker ourselves but wanted to exhaust options before committing. Have you tried the pin locker yet?
@@traildawgsoffroad5156 yes 3 hard rides so far. No problems yet but will always have issues with small axle splines with visco lock axles. It makes drivability much better though. Bc you choose when to lock

I agree, the Visco lock is not any good. We have had no troubles out of our torq locker yet and has made it a beast in really tough climbs.
Running one in x3 for 3 years now no problems yet
Good deal. We have issues with axles snapping sometimes.
I’m looking into buying one of these how does it drive at high speeds in 2 Wheel Dr. is it still OK or does it fight
Can’t tell any difference at normal 2wd driving. It is harder to turn in 4wd and when it is locked together.
Have u broke any axel with the Locker yet I keep breaking them right at the diff more on the left side

What axles are you running?
I am running stock about to upgrade to 2.0 to I saving up to get the halo 30 and the rcv axel soon
Do y’all ever ride in Alabama

nice job. still doing good?
It worked great, really hard on axles. We recently changed to a pin locker and trying it out now

@@XpensiveDecisions so does the pin lock let you have 3 wheel 4wd, but you can lock when full 4x4 is needed?
@@jn102155 yes that is correct. 4x4 button engages but leaves front diff open to allow some slippage. Lock button completely engages true 4wd.
