Honestly appreciate you having musicians (actual real musicians) on this show, Bert. These episodes are the shit. Now get Derek Trucks on here! The people demand!
In one podcast I went from not knowing RCS, to suddenly scouring their whole catalog and I can say with certainty that I am a die hard fan for life. Takes some real special people and product to push me over the line that fast.
First time I ever heard them, I was only 15 seconds into Wondering Why and said to my wife "we're gonna go see these guys" .... got tix for November and can't wait. They have a ton of great songs, enjoy!
FYI… Non believers love these guys too! I found them a couple months ago and can’t get enough of them!!! I’ve sent their videos to just about all my contacts!!!
It's so interesting seeing Brandon's personality with the rest of this band. The old school, classic presence mixed with the chaotic energy of everyone else - it's what really makes the band work as well as they do.
Thank Jesus for bringing these guys in.. Simply a timeless band that brings it every song.. What a badass band.. Been following for 2 years finally making it❤.. Ty red clay strays...
The genuineness throughout the entire podcast and how humble Bert was to have them on and the lead singers voice was immaculate. It couldn’t have sounded any better. Amazing podcast! New fan of the band
Hey guys & girls who make these podcasts happen: Seeing Bert and guests receiving drinks and the look on their faces is a big part of these episodes. We appreciate your contribution in curating the vibe of the episodes.
I’m thoroughly impressed with the turn this podcast has taken man. I feel like everyone badmouths Bert for no reason. I’ve never heard of these guys before, but they rule! The musicians coming on and shooting the shit and then playing a few songs has been seriously awesome. I love it!
This was one of my all-time favorite podcast sessions I've ever seen. Bert, you are flippin' hilarious, and I treasure your comedy because it has gotten me through my dark days and pulled me out of my depression many times. Red Clay Strays, your guys' music means so much to me. From the first time I heard Wondering Why on the Western AF session, I fell in love with your music and have listened to you on a daily basis. I am so happy to see you guys getting the recognition and attention you guys deserve. God bless all of you.
Thank you Bert! Their music makes me FEEL so many emotions all at once. Just watching them and seeing that they feel every note, every word and have such passion and love for it. Amazing is an understatement!
Thank you Bert for having The RCS on! This was an awesome 2 hours, with a small acoustic set at the end! I loved it!!! Bert crying, made me cry - and how sweet he talked of the band, the beautiful LeeAnn ♥️♥️ I've been listening to them non-stop for 4 months now, glad to see the fans grow - they deserve it
Saw these guys at Red Rocks as an openener and absolutely stole the entire show. Red Rocks isn't an easy venue to play but man they killed it. So happy to see them thriving
@@AmandaBurns14I’ve seen it 😊 and I saw them at the Boston calling festival got to meet John best experience ever. Going again to see them in Boston Oct 5th I can’t wait.
I’m rooting for you guys. I know you all are at different points of your journey. The world is gonna come at you fast. Just remember the line from your song: “People always try to tell me, "Just do what you wanna do" But I try to rely on my mama's advice and that's always got me through” Keep praising the Lord with your lips AND life.
BERT!!!! I love your reactions to these songs and you letting the camera see you in such a real and vulnerable way. You and all the Red Clay Stray fellas are AWESOME!
Coming back here to say I want this version of moments as another version of the song. I love the album version but something about this one. So raw and authentic.
@humanindica962 where and when did you see them in Chattanooga?????! And how in the small world of music here in the Nooog did I miss RCS playing here?
Red Clay Strays are the REAL DEAL. Thanks for having them on and providing us a peek behind the covers. I appreciate you brotha and Chris Isaak is awesome.
Absolutely awesome! This band takes a thought to a feeling to an action, truly life changing music. Thanks for having them on and thanks for the transparency
The blessing of absorbing red clay strays as an early fan and the success…. Tears ever time ! Some generations have Elvis , some have otis, Franklin , Beatles …. I’ve been blessed to see the the Red clay Strays in my actual existence of my generation 🥃🇺🇸🤩🧦🥰
Red clay strays bangin life out the park !! I’m so happy Bert got time with y’all !! I hope one day to be able to as well . The world DESERVES music like this . Screw the standards of policed publications, YALL DESERVE THE GREATNESS YOU ARE ! 🎊🤩🥃😉👍🏻👊🏻
It's been an absolute pleasure getting to watch every step of these guys journey. From playing small bars in alabama to the well earned rocket ship they're on now.
Bert crying is beautiful man. He’s knows he’s one of the luckiest men that’s ever lived. And in moments like this it’s just overwhelming. I get it. Also, I am now a fan of Red Clay Strays. Didn’t really pay attention to them until this. Now I will be listening to all their music. They are also going to be in my area playing a concert in September. You’d best believe I will be going if I can.
One of the first times Brandon performed live was at my dads 50th, we had went to the same highschool. It is awesome to see that they are getting the recognision they deserve!!
Been digging these guys music and the performance at the end of this episode sealed the deal. No tik tok fame or trash face tattoos just musicians playing music. I’m hitting the record store when I get off work to buy this album.
We need an acoustic album from these fellas asap. Just incredible. If all Bertcasts could be this, I wouldn’t miss a second. Unreal. Great job RCS and Bert!
Brandon's making being a gentleman cool again. I appreciate his humility and his example of being a Godly man in a culture that is so the opposite nowadays. Their music is amazing but it's the gentleman nature and including the Lord that keeps me listening to their music.
Just seeing this podcasts now that it’s the first time ever seeing and you had on The Red Clay Strays is awesome and they deserve everything they get sure deserves all the good recognition love all their songs can’t just pick two or three ❤
I just had a chance to watch this...Wow...I was already a HUGE RCS fan but so much more now and I am also now a HUGE fan of Bert's. So genuine and so real, it's rare to get to feel true emotion these days. Thank you Bert and RCS for an awesome 2hrs of my life.
Straight up, "Wondering Why" at the end of this is one of the most powerful performances I've seen in a while. I just came across them yesterday. Bert, this is too awesome man. I would've had the same reaction
The more I listen to your podcasts and discover the beautiful relationship that you and LeAnne have together and how open and vulnerable you can be about the life and love you have for each other, the more I fall in love with you, dude. This episode was awesome. I’ve loved The Red Clay Strats for awhile now. I have the same reaction every time I hear Wondering Why because like you, it hits me like a brick too and helps me appreciate the good love my wife and I share. Thank you so much for having them on. Cheers, brother!
Hoping this video gets more views man this band Deserves it! One of the best newer bands going right now. The world needs something like this. The new album has already been nonstop on my commute. Can’t wait to see yall live one day. Thank you Bert for this!
Please keep this up! I love the comedy… I love the podcasts…, but this is special. There was more of this 10 yrs ago, but to see you keeping this alive, warms my heart. You’ve had some great artists on these past podcasts and what you are doing is greatly appreciated! I fucking love this stuff! Thank you!
Love that you love the dead bert and jam bands. You see how the music crosses over. The building blocks imo is within the folk music and just riding that wave of where the music takes you !! Have a great night all
I'm with bert man you don't want to cry!! But as a father of three the smallest song will hit the hardest!! And as happily married man woder why is 100% how I feel thanks bert for showing that father have emotions people would never understand
I ran across the RCS by accident in an advertisement feed on my Google feed for The Caveman Festival. The song playing in the background was, "Ghosts." I immediately started searching for who was singing this. I am so inspired by your music. I spent the next few days listening to everything you have played. Thank you for sharing your art with us. This is the best podcast I have ever listened to in it's entirety. This was absolutely a beautiful entertaining evening for this 63 yr old woman. I look forward to more.
Red Clay Strays new fan. I always hesitate to listen to Bert with musicians because he gets very Bert, and that's too much Bert for me. But what a great group of people.
RCS is amazing. Zach is the most underrated member of the band. His fills, soloing…but bringing in the backing vocals! Drew’s song writing. Brandon’s voice. John’s energy & enthusiasm. #HBYCO
Bert, if I had known that you were such a fan of the Strays, I would have shown you video of the FIRST time they EVER played “Wondering Why” on stage. They regularly played the Florabama 2017-2019. I know all these guys and predicted they would make it. I have so many videos of them at the Florabama and I cherish ever one of them.
Red clay strays are on an insane run lately and they deserve it all
Honestly appreciate you having musicians (actual real musicians) on this show, Bert. These episodes are the shit. Now get Derek Trucks on here! The people demand!
I’d love for a lesser known musician to come on too. Like a guy that needs more recognition than they get. Like a Ren or a Cash Kulpepper or someone
@@StevelandCleamer agreed, he should have my band in too😅😁
I've got to know so many bands from here I never knew before from here. Shout-out to Andy Frasco
@xxCD7xx IMHO marcus king has been the coolest, as I said though, Derek fuggin Trucks needs to get on! Lol
(actual real musicians) Define that.
NGL I would also cry if I got a private concert from The Red Clay Strays
Straight up.
I hope you get your wish😊
I cried watching this, I would 100 percent cry. I am seeing them again next week and will cry then too!!
They've made it now after 5 years of hardship. They opened for the Rolling Stones 🎉stones!
God is with these men. They come during a time they are needed the most. 🇺🇸

Love seeing the Red Clay Strays blow up! Way to go, guys!
The genuineness throughout the entire podcast and how humble Bert was to have them on and the lead singers voice was immaculate. It couldn’t have sounded any better. Amazing podcast! New fan of the band

Check out their performance at Red Rocks, it's amazing!!! I love watching the drummer during that set, he loves his job
Bert is much better when he's by himself doing a podcast compared to when he's with Tom.
@@SAJL12820 Tom seems like a pretty big twat ngl
So good! They might be my favorite band now. Thanks Bert and thank you Red Clay Strays.

You can tell a band is solid when their live version of a song is better than the album version. 🔥
I saw them on July 11th. Cried the whole time🥲🩷 so glad you and Theo are giving these guys exposure. They’re incredible 🥰
Saw these guys at Red Rocks as an openener and absolutely stole the entire show. Red Rocks isn't an easy venue to play but man they killed it. So happy to see them thriving

have come back multiples times to listen to it
Retweet, clip it all three songs off the Bertcast. As one call it the machine special.
Keep coming back over and over. This performance puts their album versions to shame. And their album is incredible. Unreal acoustic performance.
Amazing performance! Just them performing alone makes the episode worth to watch, what an amazing voice!
Got to see them in Chattanooga. People were blown away. They didn’t understand what was happening. Best band in the land. So genuine.
Charles Wesley Godwin and the Allegheny High are also are sight to behold. Their stage presence is incredible.

right when he said "she comes from" i got goose bumps. amazing.
Thanks Bert for helping me discover these talented folks. My new musical obsession.
All the silliness and shit talking Bert gets. Hearing him talk about Leanne and tearing up to misic shows you who this dude really is and I love it !!
