@@BondiVet hi
Scott is the nicest Vet. He played right along with Natalie doing a Hugo voice. He understands us animal people!

**Stefon voice** This episode has everything: a semi-tame vixen, a mastiff with a voice like Sven the reindeer, a baby tenrec, reunited tanuki siblings, a cheerful old granddad labrador, an alpaca with incredible aim.
10/10 would recommend.

You forgot alpaca p*rn....
"And, MTV's original dude-bro, Dan Cortese."

That poor lab I feel his pain. My meniscus was torn up up and my knee arthroscopy really helped. I really respect that surgeon he’s terrific. Bless his owner for not giving up on him. I’m surprised they didn’t tell her to get some weight off the dog. The Fox is adorable ❤ Dr Scott is awesome as always. ❤

Well, ive now read all the comments, and its a consensus: we want the fox to be folded back into the family and showered with affection. Shes used to that, not wildness.
Amen. Why isolate her, deprive her of affection and force her into a life if solitude? That’s nuts. The hell with the self-appointed humane police.
She's not a pet, she's a wild animal.
@@janvandusen5700 foxes are solitary animals, it's not normal or good for them to be treated like dogs.
Not treated as a dog but given as much cuddles as she wants, I think her personal animal welfare includes cuddles, walks and play
@@Brynwyn123 foxes are not totally asocial animals, and forcing one into isolation when that clearly is resulting in stress for them does more harm than good.
This fox is tamed and clearly prefers some amount of human contact as tame foxes seem to tend to do.
Lovely humans in this video. You’re all very caring.
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for Watching & Subscribing!
My daily dose that helps my depression gotta love the love they show for animals they care as if they were their own children .
Okay, if an Alpaca spit in my mouth I would have vomited straight away. Kudos to Scott for keeping it together! There are definitely a potpourri of animals on that farm and it so wonderful that each and every one of them are loved. I'm glad Hugo got a clean bill of health, he is just so adorable! Poor Sam, I hope this is the last surgery for Jack. But I loved the ending of Jack and Betty, the two "team geriatric" babes, walking in the park together. I'm so happy this came out today. It was my mom's birthday, although she's been in Heaven for many years it still is a hard day for me. But I got to watch a new episode, a good ending for the day. If all the animals today can get over their issues, I can certainly look at how resilient they are - and remind myself there is always someone whose circumstances are worse than mine could be. Animals giving humans a reality check! God Bless you all for taking care of all the animals you do!
Dr Scott's reaction to wrinkled droopy doggo faces is SO satisfying!!! The way he never fails to get down and put his face in theirs while jiggling their choochy cheeks is endearing!!! Because seriously...we ALL really want to do it, too, right?!
Loved Natalie, Scott and Hugo's segment. The voices are adorable, so is Hugo.
Jack is very lucky to have such an amazing owner! ❤️✨

Dr. Scott has a heart of gold. I love watching these videos. I'm amazed at his doing house visits to follow up on his patients. It's that extra step that does make all the difference. The little budgie was so adorable. I enjoyed seeing Dr. Scott's beautiful growing family. I hope everyone is enjoying their new home in UK. I'm looking forward to more videos from the Vet on the Hill. God Bless to you and yours. ....ps the bull mastiff is gorgeous. I'm in a condo in Florida. Spent a weekend babysitting a bull mastiff when he was about 15 mo's old. Mugsy is big and beautiful. He loved running on the beach in South Florida. I'm now retired so I do take care of former co-workers pets when called.
The love that Scott and his staff show their patients warms my heart to happy tears. ❤️
Foxes are such a beautiful animal and thank you for taking care of this fax
I love how Hugo looks like a giant, strong, scary-ish boy
But really he’s a big loving softie who’s afraid of hair clippers😂
Also the racoon dogs look like giant fluff balls😍 I would love to cuddle them but they’ll probably bite my face off😅
I feel that! My grandparents have this huge scary looking German Shepard. He’s the sweetest dog, he puts up with my grandmas chickens pecking at his toes, his best friend has always been my cousin since the day he was born, my cousin is now 9 and he still used that dog as a pillow.
Wild animals that look adorable and you want to pet their soft fur, or give them a hug, but you know that they would rip you in half.
Like cute photos of happy bears and dingoes. :’)
Fox giggle when tickled on the belly and it is so cute it will get you laughing and giggling yourself!!!
Love how Hugo’s mom talks for him. 💕
Oh goodness how did he not vomit when the alpaca spat in his mouth like it did? I know I certainly would have!
He may have and they cut that out.🤐🤢🤮🤮
If Red cannot be in the wild, why not keep cuddling her? seems like malarkey to me, too, especially when she cries for attention.
because she'll come to think all humans are good like her humans,, but like they said there are people that will kill her no matter how nice she is. unfortunately.
But if she was kept away from other humans that wouldn't be a problem She is kept in captivity for heavens sake.
She's not domestic though. An animal that isn't domestic has the potential to injure a human, not to mention she's a fox and needs room to run and play and be a fox.
@@Telenaus They made it quite clear that they aren't going to try releasing her again; that's why they got her desexed. So they're the only people that are likely to have any interaction with her.
@@willowoahh I mentioned this in another comment thread to you, but they're keeping her outside. She's got the room to run around and do fox things. But that doesn't mean they need to treat her like a completely wild animal when they're going to have to provide all of her food and care anyway
Please stop hunting foxes. Look at that sweet face.
Yeah people are monsters for doing that... Mainly people hunt them because of over population meaning too many of them which isn't bad but the bad things are when they only hunt them for the money, or their nice fur.. making hats, rugs etc out of them... Especially when they hunt them but unleash like TEN dogs on that one poor fox.... And I don't want to hear that excuse of " ..Oh it's just their culture.. " or " ..That's just how those type of people hunt.. " NONE of that bull sh*t because here you go- Just because it's culture doesn't mean it's right...
@@LaeNae18 or sadistic pleasure
@@denisesander7728 FOR REAL OMG... For the pleasure is seriously cruel...
I love how at 37:59 the alpaca that spit in Scott's face turned around and looked at the camera.
I read about a Russian experiment with foxes. They bred the most friendly foxes for 50 generations. By the end, the foxes' fur had started to change colors, similar to dogs and their behavior became very friendly.
"...our dogs arent perfect but...."
No. Ur wrong. Ur dogs are perfect, no one will change my mind on that. Now go give them kisses please.
why treat the fox like it’s completely wild at this point? is there any benefit for the fox? i don’t see the harm of treating it like a pet if they know it’ll never be released. AnimalWondersMontana is a YT channel about a rescue that does similar work and they have a fox that is tame and bc it’s so tame, they were able to train it so they could take it to presentations to educate the public on them which i feel is beneficial to foxes as a whole.
SaveAFox is another channel run by people who specifically rescue foxes (from fur farms and owners who either are forced to give them up or surrender them). Even outside of the foxes that they consider permanent residents/pets, they give many/most of the foxes attention and try to get them used to people, because if they aren't releasing them, they have to find them homes (as pets most likely). Obviously, they can't keep rescuing foxes if they don't free up space from time to time, and a lot of them aren't fit to be returned to the wild.
TL:DR I agree with you. If there was a good reason for encouraging Red to be wild, it would have been nice if they stated it.
I totally agree. She is never going to be a fully wild animal anymore. Why not give her cuddles?
It all depends on the philosophy of the keepers imo. For example, zoos specifically try to replicate the natural world as much as possible. Furthermore, fur farm and pet foxes are actually bred and semi domesticated in a way that a fox rescued from the wild, even as a kit, wouldn't be, which poses it's own set of problems if you try to keep it as a pet.
She looked so lonely!
Red might be a sweetie, but it's a real concern if she decides she doesn't like what the vet is doing and bites
not really any more concern then a dog bite but a fox could be a bit more unpredictable
Omg Hugo is like so adorable and you know he's a Mommy's boy

Aww that fox is just gorgeous.
I really love foxes. Sometimes when we've been camping in the fall when the campground is very quiet, we've had close encounters with wild foxes just going about their business and they look at us but just carry on what they're doing, and it feels like a gift.
Oh poor Jack!....and that fantastic Mrs. Fox! How amazing!!!
So many BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS. I really enjoy the Bondi Vet shows. Allow the Veterans on the show are AMAZING, the doctors and their Staff are so amazing and you can tell they actually LOVE ANIMALS.
Thank you for posting another new video! Just what I need to chill this evening!
The fox stupendously failed at being wild when repeatedly released, and is already tame. I don't see the point of trying to correct it at this point. It's a bit like shutting the barn door after the horses had already escaped.
They aren't trying to correct it, they're trying to keep it from getting worse. Red isn't domestic, and is still a fox, she can't live in a home like a cat or a dog.
I so agree. look at the movie "Born Free". it killed her.
@@willowoahh There's no reason to try to get Red to be less tame if there's going to be no attempt to release her. They've given her a space to call her own and a place to run; they aren't trying to keep her inside like a cat or dog. If she's not going to be in the wild, there's no reason that hand feeding, pets, or hugs should be withheld as long as Red is enjoying them
@@AngelValis The whole point is that they need to get her as close as possible to wild. Trying to tame wild animals is NOT A GOOD IDEA. Chimps should be pets, tigers should not be pets, foxes should not be pets.
Actually everything I've read about domesticated foxes (yes, they do exist look at Russia to find examples) you should have an outdoor enclosure for them so they can do a bit of running.
Fox is gorgeous. We had a pair on our 80 acres. They would eat the berries on our mulberry tree. Stand 5 feet from us. No fear.
I love foxes! I'd give a lot to pet her...shes so gorgeous! Friends have chickens & a family of foxes in the back field & have never had a problem. So much fun to watch the babies in the spring!💕
Red: Okay, I see, the RACOON DOGS get pets, but not me. I see, I see.
Seriously though, I'm so glad Andy and Keeley took Red in so she can live the rest of her life in safety, but if she's never going to be released back into the wild then I wonder what the problem with giving her more socialization would be?
I know. It seems cruel, to me. She's been raised by them since she was a tiny baby. She's basically a dog, now. But they're forcing her into a life of loneliness. She can't live in the wild, but they're putting her out in a pen with no more family, friends, or cuddling. I don't get it, and I don't think Red does, either. Why?
@@cynthiadianecarey9902 They are not dogs though. They do not have hundreds of years of domestication behind them.
I completely agree. I've raised some animals that were unreleasable, and in my experience, small animals like that blend beautifulfully with the rest of the family. If this particular animal had some issue, like toileting, that they didn't want in the house, she could live in the enclosure and still be petted, cuddled and loved. She was better behaved at the vet's than many cats and dogs I've seen. I don't think it is necessary to ostracize her, poor baby. Once you've taken over raising a baby animal, you should be prepared that, if it turns out to be unreleasable, you are that animal's family for life. You probably should use some protective measures with an animal such as a tiger or lion, but a fox is essentially a small dog, the size of a cat, and easily cared for. Very sad that they have condemned her to a lonely life.
@@mondenkindqueen neither did any of the unreleasable racoon, possums, or birds I've raised, but they all have had happy, healthy, fun-filled lives with lots of cuddles and pets.
I agree completely! Poor baby was crying outside the door at night for affection. :( At this point she's never going to be released into the wild, so why would you want to deny their comfort? It'd be different if they were forcing it on her, but clearly she wants let it and wants the physical contact. Poor thing.
I love red foxes. We used to have a family of them that would come from the woods to see how people lived. It was fun to watch them.
They came from the woods to find food.
Not at all to see how you lived.
They couldn't care less about that.
Kaydence * Some wild animals actually take interest in people. We’re weird and different, seeing what we do sounds interesting honestly! I love looking out windows at people walking by living their own lives, it’s like an in person show.

After reading through many comments and responses, would be possible to obtain an explanation from the fox owners? For better understanding? Because many of us don’t understand and definitely disagree with their choices for her.

One of my favorite series!!!
I love Foxes, I have one on my cell phone case, lol. Your videos of these critters warms my heart.
Live in the moment and enjoy each Day
I love this lesson from these 2 Wonky Doggies
Saw an Albino fox near my house at 5am, sniffing the bins. Think they are quite rare. I call her/him Blondie.
If Red is going to be captive and cries out for the humans she has grown to trust, what is the point in not giving her extra affection? That enclosure didnt look very big (even with a "run")
I agree, but I think they said that the outdoor part is the main portion of the enclosure and the inside part is only a shelter for cold says and over night. I makes sense that they have her inside fod the vet visiting.
I still would not deny the fox human contact when she is already well past being wild again. She craves it and should have it.
Because it’s not natural and wildlife rehabbers are NOT in the business of turning wild animals into pets. Trying to turn her into a pet is potentially dangerous because she is not domesticated.
The people who bred Labrador Jack should have to pay for the dog’s surgeries! They are unconscionable to breed dogs with Jack’s issues. They had to know one or both of the parents aren’t breeding stock. It makes me so angry!!!
I know how scary a lump in the mouth can be. My sweet old man Sammy (13). He’s an amazing cat, and when we found it on our own I started sobbing and called the vet in a panic. We were really lucky that it was just a tart mass, buddy was hiding it from us. Change of food and regular teeth brushing and my big old boy is back to chasing his ball and being so proud when he catches it.
My dog is 18-20years old now and my previous dog became almost 18 and a lot of dogs live longer now due to better care and better food and so on. That makes me a bit worried when a lot of vets i have met are hesitant to to do surgery to improve life of a 10 year old dog. I understand the dilemma and the risks but at the same time they can have 7 more years, or 2. We don't know. Had surgery on my girl a year ago and it was scary for me because I know the risk with older dogs. But so glad the vet here didn't hesitate. And glad they give the old dog a good chance to be pain-free. If the choice is between living in pain or risk at dying due to anesthetic I personally for my pets prefer to give them a pain-free chance. Living with pain every day isn't fun, I do it every day and don't want that for my pets. So lots of love to these vets! Amazing 💖💖❣
I love the song played at end of video. Song should be played at every close of every bideos.
She is absolutely gorgeous, sad she can't live in her natural environment,
but I'm happy she is loved and taken of...❤
Awwwwwww, those tanuki are ADORABLE!!
On of my favorite animals. So beautiful
I don’t think it is right that Red the fox should have to spend the rest of her life alone. It seems to me that it would be better for someone to raise her like a dog with all the love that goes with it
Living in loneliness is not the best life for her
Had a blk lab that had bad back legs, he spent 42 days in the hospital, surgery on both back legs, over $5,000, I didn't get my barn, but he lived to be 13yoa, helped bring him into the world, and was with him when he went to live with God. Can't wait to see him when I get to heaven. They are pure love.
In Australia - I’m nearly 70 but friends who rescued wildlife had a fox who they brought up with their dogs when I was around 20-he did live in a very big aviary construction as he couldn’t be trusted with chickens etc but he was taken and walked cuddled and brought out when preschoolers visited - he loved being cuddled and patted and was very friendly to all humans - unfortunately he ended up with heart worm at about 4 going on 5 and passed but I’ll always remember Freddie the friendly fox .
