Thanks so much for the video! I'm pet sitting up on Laurel Mountain, for a couple that was visiting Gatlingburg, this weekend. We live in East TN, and try not to travel at all, when flash floods are expected, it's just not safe! Blessings and best wishes to you and your loved ones!
I'm going Aug. 6th hope all the water is dried up by then & it doesn't flood anymore. Also plan on staying in Pigeon Forge & surrounding areas for 9-10 days.
@@AdventureIsOutThere yes thank goodness only one injured God bless that person I've seen the flooding before watching you alls videos but this is the first time seeing Dollywood getting that flooded thank you for your videos I appreciate them God bless you and your family
Flash flooding is a serious threat to the safety of the public. Whenever flash flooding occurs, remember “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.” Whether you’re driving down a flooded roadway or walking down a sidewalk or trail, do not attempt to enter flood waters. The water can be moving much swifter than you can imagine and can powerfully sweep your car off a roadway or your feet out from under you. So thankful that this situation was managed without any serious injuries. Thanks for your reporting.
@@christinaphillips5933because all of East Tennessee is a river bed or creek bed, if you don’t live on a hill or a mountain, there’s a chance for flooding
Wow! That was something else. So sorry for all of those who were caught in this. It is very heartbreaking to see this damage in Dollywood but even more so to people's cars. So thakful that Dollywood is helping people with their cars thatcwere damaged. Thank you for sharing this with us and bringing this to all of us who ove Dollywood.
My sister and her husband lives in the Sevierville, TN area. She said it rained hard up that way also, but not to the level that they seen just down the road in Pidgon Fordge. I'm praying for Y'all.
This is crazy. I would think they are a drainage system however that probably got loaded too. I hope Dollywood can recover quickly. Seeing water through the whole park especially the souvenir shop I was in last October is sad. Hope everyone is safe and the recovery of their cars in water can be functioning again. Thanks for the video. I enjoy watching your videos. I visited last year in October for the first time, my parents 2nd time, was had a blast. I'm going again this October solo. Wow I sure hope no severe damage at dollywood and I'm thankful that there was only one minor injury and I'm praying that person is ok. Thanks for the update.
I watched another video of the flooding at Dollywood. I was shocked and amazed to see how run down, old, dilapidated, and unkept as Dollywood has become. Dolly needs to part with some of her MILLIONS, and fix this place up, or shut it down altogether. Pretty disgusting Dolly!
I’ve been to dollywood multiple times over the past couple of years, and it doesn’t seem run down and unkept at all. It’s a great amusement park. The storm caused all of these damages.
