chocolatechocochoco It's always the "first win" in arenas that is hard, you can face everything, once I faced a mage with ragnaros, faceless manipulator, and Dr. boom, dealt with dr. boom easy, but then he summoned raggy that I could not deal with at the them, and next turn it was gg because then he faceless manipulated raggy, and fucked me hard. It's always after the first one you can go smoothly even if you have a shitty deck, like yesterday I had 15 cards that costed less than 3 mana, and I had a sea giant and piloted skygolem, and I only had 3 spells which was flamecannon, and 2xfrostbolt, I had no AOE and no heals, but I still got 5 wins ^^
Padge Vounder actualy it's much more. 12-0 11-0 fights 11-x 10-0 fights 10-x and 10x fights 10-x 9-0 fights 9-x and 9-x fights 9-x and 9-x fights 9-x and 9-x fights 9-x 8-0 fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x and 8-x fights 8-x for every tier it takes twice as many people in the previous tier. with 12 tiers thats 2^12 people required for every 12-0 game, but thats the same with any 12-x score really. So for every 12 wins there is at least 4096 people involved and at least 2048 games.
***** If and 11-0 and an 11-0 fight then one will go 12-0, however you have to consider how many people had to lose for those 11-0s to get there facing only other people who hadn't lost.
☑ "This guy's deck is CRAZY!” ☑ “My deck can't win against a deck like that” ☑ "He NEEDED precisely those two cards to win" ☑ “He topdecked the only card that could beat me” ☑ "He had the perfect cards" ☑ “There was nothing I could do” ☑ “I played that perfectly”
It could be anything else you fucking turtle. So narrow minded. If it were anything other than that stupid fireball/pyroblast then kripp would have won. RNG right there .
rweqqwer here's the thing when you play something and your opponent has an answer then you play something again top decked another answer and thats how it goes till you lose it sucks you cant get anything going to try and win your opponent has every answer or every top deck is something that screws so its more of a blow out win then a actually well earned win know what i mean i have been on both sides i top decked every answer and won big or the other guy top decked every answer and blow my ass out the water
+ijirving the thing is that the opponent went yolo face without knowing that he will draw the good cards while kripp played safe. But this game is at least 70% luck so well..
Waller5PL Technically, yeah, but by that logic, you have to realize that it's not "12 that don't" In fact, for every 1 person that goes 12 - 0, there are 4095 people that don't.
aidy121 wtf are you talking about? every win you get, is a loose for your opponent, right? :o so 12 wins for you and 12 looses shuffeled on 12 opponents( e.g.: 2+ x match ups ). so there are max 12 people who cant get 12-0 anymore. they can only get 12-1 .... so wth is that 4095 o_O ?
+Sadunk Same for me, I got 5/3 in my free Arena run and now I can beraly pass the 2 win streak, and I stopped counting how many o/3 runs I've made, I stopped playing Arene for like 3 months but after I finish BRM I might come back.
+I sexually identify as GSG-9. Ever since I was a boy, I've dreamed of killing israeli athletes. Brother, I opened 100 packs and so far the rarest card I got from any of those is the heal>damage priest card. Not even 1 legendary xD. (Although I bought the expansions.)
Because trump cries about luck all the mother fucking time to the point where it is depressing to listen to and you just quit. Its funny because he is fully aware that this game is mostly based on probability and luck.

Quite curious if anyone knows what the hell is up with the random noises during the stream? At first I thought it was just street noise (barking dog, cars going by, etc). But then this crazy loud voice starting blaring, sounding like someone barking orders in a crowded foreign train station or something. The incredibly loud noise continued for a while, at which point Kripp reached up and appeared to turn it off? Once he did that, the room was dead silent. No street noise, no dog, no echoey loudspeaker voices. What exactly in the fuck is going on there?
The guy had a chance for 3 Fireballs and 3 frostbolts... thats pretty much a 12 win deck right there. The one time I had a chance for 3 fireballs and 1 frostbolt I went 12-2
Why is there so much hate on this video? And to the people calling out RNG, it's a card game: what in hell do logically expect? The whole point of any card based game is that the results are never certain, and the possibilities aren't fixed.
I bet that his opponent (Maxturnovers) is going like: "Oooh and of course he top decks the Flamestrike! I can not believe the worsed luck I have tonight!" Or something similiar like Kripp says from now and then ;P
Part of it was that opponent wanted the card draw. It wasn't just hit in the face and hope for the best. Also he would have know how stacked his deck was with damage spells.
completely agree. i hate when im playing arena and the opponent just all of a sudden just ignores my minion and hits my face. i mean i guess its part of the game but its pure dumb luck and theres no strategy involved, and when the opponent wins from something like that it just pisses me off.
im new to hearthstone and i love to play arena but i always get the garbage cards and go up against people with the legend card back and amazing decks so i get smashed every time :(
Without watching the video - it's RNG. Not the RNG of card picks (in most cases), but the RNG of the opponents you get matched up with, the cards you draw, and the cards they draw. If you get matched up to a deck that is favorable to yours (ie. you've drafted a fast aggro deck and go up against mid-range), it'll be an uphill battle. If you don't draw well, and/or your opponent does, it'll be an uphill battle. That's the reason that it's not only hard to go 12-0, but hard to go 12 wins at all. Hell, I had a deck last night that if you looked at it would very likely be a 7 wins deck (my recent average is 8 wins per run), and it actually only won *2*. My opponents in my first 2 losses just drew almost-perfectly, and in my third loss I somehow played an opponent that seemed to have a 12-win quality deck. -.-
did 12 wins yesterday with mage without fireball and frostbolt, but with 3 flamestrikes and 4 sheeps. you don't even need your damage spells with that much control.
I never got to 12 wins with a mage. Everytime I get an awesome mage deck I get obliterated by bad luck, and by people that play some insane cards and combos.
A year and a half later and shit hasn't changed. Constructed can get boring but at least your deck is on par with your opponent's and you aren't having to worry about what class you face. In the past 3 Arena attempts I've made, I've played 11 mages and if they even have a decent deck there isn't much you can do.
Kripp, I've seen your video about top 3 cards misplayed in arena. One of the cards you talked about was Venture Co, playing it too early when you didn't have a good reason or didn't need to turn the game around. Here you whip it out with a bunch of other good creatures in hand... why?
He top decked three times before... and when the opponent did the same ..."what's that shit" ? really?....and about those frostbolts , he knew his deck very well ...he probably knew the odds to get more spells ..maybe a pyro also in there.
Quentin and you care so much about what I think... your comment hurts me soooo much. grow up and get used with the idea that some people dislike shit and have the right to say that they dislike it just the same as the people who like shit have the right to say that they like it.
Rygel XVI Wasting time to defend Kripp is even worse lol... grow up and learn that there's two sides to everything. people who like shit and say that they do it... people who dislike shit and say that they do it. easy life right? must be hard to understand this concept in 2nd grade tho.
+oLx12o Normally you don't have like 5 frostbolts and 3 fireballs in your deck That's just normal. Expecting a flamestrike is totally on another caliber of the gameplay.
RNG sure is a sucker sometimes, but i think it is also a factor in keeping the a game from getting too dull too quick. Allways a factor you can't control which makes it frustrating/fun and perhaps levels the field just a tiny bit between Dennis and you :p
the other guy had crazy draw and a lot of spell damage I'm really not seeing the issue here I mean Krip drew running Flamestrikes and a heal when he needed one its not like he didn''t draw well.
That mage had like 4 frost bolts and 4 fireballs? its so dumb how sometimes you either win or lose simply because your opponent got lucky and drafted a crazy deck. like the time i hade 5 ice lances, i would just wait till i had them all in had. drop a spell power minion. Fostbolt and 5x ice lance.
Modeled purely of coin flips, since ties result in no transfer of win/loses (1/2)^12 12 wins. 50% chance(This is just to find the amount of Lossers per tier.)
I just played my craziest game ever, (I'm probably below average or on average so this may not be anything to you) turn 2 he played cho then after that he played millhouse and i was a mage and I drew a polymorph and passed it about 3 times then he plays Nozdormou then alarm-o-bot's Malygos only to swipe me twice then alarm-o-bot's Alexstrasza then plays ETC. My mind was blown, I've never came up against a deck full of legendaries. And of course I lost because I was playing Trumps F2P deck because i'm a nub .
He called this the reason why 12-0's are so rare when he was only at 5 wins. Sure, Kripp's a good player. A VERY good player. Whether or not you enjoy his stream, you can't argue that fact. But he's just a little do overconfident and full of himself, it seems.
That game was lost once venture co. merc was played. TERRIBLE card against freeze. I wrote this as venture co. merc was played - haven't seen the full match yet.
Northern85Star Third mistake, not playing flamestrike the turn after... this has nothing to do with luck, but purely bad play versus mage. You cannot relax against a mage with 9 hp...
Northern85Star And there was the fireball... now he can just fireblast you down, because you can't take 20 hp from him in two turns. TL:DR This video does not showcase bad luck, but BAD PLAY!
Paul Murray I was replying to myself, because i was commenting on the go - to see if my own speculations would be true... (and to let you guys see it too) The chances of getting a class specific card in arena is much higher than a neutral card. Mage is almost as likely as any other to have 7+ attack creature in arena. Only druid has a class specific creature with 7+ attack.
The correct play is to ping Sunwalker and fireball him. However, you would have been up 4 cards. At this point I would have considered going to you face as well. I have a life total at 20 and i could put you at 2 and hopefully when in two turns with 2 pings or a topdecked burn spell. You only had 4 damage on the table so it made the risky play more justifiable. Also, if he drafted a lot of burn spells that could have led him to take the risk. But you being up 4 cards and such low life; that play was not so yolo.
There's so many frustrated, edgy, teenagers posting on Kripp's videos every time. Stop feeling entitled to Kripparrian responding to your every message, or making the EXACT content YOU want. He's never tried to please people with the games he creates, he just plays what he wants. Take your butthurt and cancerous comments elsewhere. Kripp gets views because he's Kripp, but HE WORKED TO GET THERE. Watch his old videos....
Knowing what you have in your deck is still a thing, don't forget that. Even if it was not the optimal line of play to take from where he was when he frost bolted you twice, i still think if you know you have a deck with 5 fireballs in it, fuck it, go for it. With the auctioneer too, i actually like the frostbolts to the face, i think i may have done the same thing. Different lines of play are not wrong, they are just not optimal from everybodies perspective. Now stfu and accept some fireballs to the face and cry because that's hearthstone and you choose to play it.
@Neil Evans Because Trump got popular by playing Hearthstone. So his whole fanbase mostly play hearthstone. Kripp was popular before Hearthstone. And kripp fanbase just follow him to whatever games he plays and they decided they dont like hearthstone. But doesnt matter cause they will still watch
Personally i can 0-3 pretty often
Requires a lot of skill
I get 2:3
Drop SuxAtPvP 2-3 is my aboslute maximum i can go in one run.
the most i had and is 4 and i kept getting insane decks after 2-3 wins
chocolatechocochoco It's always the "first win" in arenas that is hard, you can face everything, once I faced a mage with ragnaros, faceless manipulator, and Dr. boom, dealt with dr. boom easy, but then he summoned raggy that I could not deal with at the them, and next turn it was gg because then he faceless manipulated raggy, and fucked me hard. The reason 12-0 is rare is because you have to win 12 times without losing, lol
Yeah plain and simple lol
Padge Vounder actualy it's much more.
12-0
11-0 fights 11-x
10-0 fights 10-x and 10x fights 10-x

durkadur27 AHAAHAHAHAHAHA made my day.
durkadur27 You can't have the heart of the cards. You only can believe in it. Unless you're a card, in which case ignore me.

Dont worry. You'll understand kripp once you get past rank 20
funny thing is, krip totally sacked his opponent the turn before by topdecking the darkscale healer
Pulls a clutch heal "just as I planned" Opponent pulls a clutch fireball "this guys terrible just does face damage and gets lucky"
+ijirving so true
+ijirving the thing is that the opponent went yolo face without knowing that he will draw the good cards while kripp played safe. But this game is at least 70% luck so well..
+ijirving kirp played tooo greedy he would have won if he played bgh with the flamestrike
+Andrew Shady He didn't go "yolo face". He cycled his deck with an Auctioneer.
+Andrew Shady more like 30% man
For every person that goes 12 - 0, there are 12 that don't.
So true
Actually, only 4 need to technically go 0 - 3, lol
aidy121 How do you think it's possible? when you have 0 wins you are matched with people that have 0 wins.
Waller5PL Technically, yeah, but by that logic, you have to realize that it's not "12 that don't"

He wants to make his mage at level 60.
Lol. He plays too much Hearthstone, man.

Luniii737 How is that possible?

I think with my first free Arena, I got 4:3 with not knowing what I was doing (to some extent). Now I can't even get 2.
I can relate to that. And I thought I have gotten worse and worse. Maybe I really am.
+Sadunk In my first arenuh I went 2-3.
But in my 2nd arena I owned the shit. went 9 wins!!!!!!!
+Sadunk yea ikr?. my very first arena went straight 0-3 and got a golden Ysera so i guess its a little cookie from that disaster.

Why does Kripp get so much hate for HS but yet people like Trump (one of my favourites) get no hate?
Because trump cries about luck all the mother fucking time to the point where it is depressing to listen to and you just quit. Its funny because he is fully aware that this game is mostly based on probability and luck.
404lt you mean kripp, trump is cool
Because Trump was basically a nobody before Hearthstone... so he really is the Hearthstone guy while Kripp was a lot of things before Hearthstone... but since Hearthstone he has become a boring ass streamer.
Jove89 Trump had a good amount of viewers. He was good at LoL and SC
dylan522p don't kid yourself. he was nothing compared to what Kripp was before HS.
when he gets a topdeck it's ok, when the enemy gets it it's FUCKING BS LOL WOW NO SKILL
If he top decks it is skill you scrub
Whenever he top decks as hard as his opponent did in this video, he often makes a point on how he topdecked and sarcastically calls it skill.
i get angry too if the enemy has luck...and im happy if i have it...whats wrong with that? i think actually 80%-90% of all online players are like that...as long as he is not like "**** your mother your ****** ******" i dont think its`s a big deal
Cause enemy won game.
Anonymous I would have laughed sooo hard if he drew arcane missiles and every one hit him
This video taught me something new, Hearthstone is RNG based... Oh wait, I already fucking knew that.
hahahahah
Dear Kripp, today I reached my 1st 12-0 thanks to your lessons and knowledge. I also looted a god damn Cenarius. Thanks dude. U da real MVP.
Kripp you would have lost if you didn't topdeck flamestrike. Grow up.
Exactly! Krip is whiny like 5 years old. HS arena is mostly luck.
Dakeyras83 Yeah kripp thinks arena requires any form of skill other than preschool math and knowing what the good cards in the draft are.
KAL EL Do you average 7+ wins?
Zeta7
No, because I dont play Arena. I'd rather stare at a plain wall.
Dakeyras83 Its called emotions...most of online players do this...
Really liking these arena theory videos. I've been learning a lot. Thanks
adventures of kidarrian the eredar lord of the casual legion playing dicestone.
My first arena i thought you could keep the cards so only got the expensive ones
Oh... another HS video... how interesting...
ahhahhahahahahaha
The raging flame that is being ignited by all the Hearthstone hatred on Kripp's videos is awesome.
welcome to kripps hearthstone game tarrian
Good old times where you can just get 3 flamestrikes, fireballs and frostballs, because there were so few cards.
once he got you down to 9 health I was expecting him to topdeck a pyroblast
finally achieved the 12 win run, then the floodgates opened, went from 0>3 in 2 days
Once I drafted 5 fireballs. Knowing that I went yolo all time, knowing that 5/30 of my deck is pure damage. Went 9 wins....not bad.
"It's pretty much the definition of ahhhhh" salt
And then theres the other side of the coin where the opponent played Deathwing and you topdecked polymorph.
kripp getting dem beauty tips
keep in mind that you TOPDECKED like crazy that game
Skip 10:50 of wasted time.
Answer: Unbalanced Mages.
3 fire 3 frost 2 flame and ok/god card.....his deck isnt the example, is the dream.
Should be
In one word: Fireballs
Super happy if thats exactly Fireball.
12-2 is roughly 4 times rarer than 12-0 though.
It be fair, you also got lucky by drawing the heal when you weren't going to have lethal damage and had one health.
Luck plays a part, which is what makes it all the more interesting.

I met 10 mages in my last arena run, from 3-0 to 10-3, all mages, and the rests are paladins.
For people who complain about top decking, or luck, answer me this.
When did the RNG deities promise to always smile upon you?
The guy had a chance for 3 Fireballs and 3 frostbolts... thats pretty much a 12 win deck right there. The one time I had a chance for 3 fireballs and 1 frostbolt I went 12-2

I hope you get in the same situation again and the mage topdecks iceblock 4 times first and then fireball.
poingpoing11 There isn't enough salt in the universe
I bet that his opponent (Maxturnovers) is going like: "Oooh and of course he top decks the Flamestrike! I can not believe the worsed luck I have tonight!" Or something similiar like Kripp says from now and then ;P
The other one wasn't necessarily bad, he could have played like that because he knew his deck was full of direct damage cards.

My dear son Gribbarian ...
you see how Kripp didnt take till 2:55 on his livestream? thats why his stream is getting boring. All he does is type type type to his succubus
How was it running fireballs when he played a secret the turn before? Unless 'running' doesn't mean what it means in poker.
I only went 12-0 once when I pretty much drafted oil rogue :D

Another Hearthstone video... Another dislike! Keep this boring fest coming Kripp...

Why 12-0 is rare: it's hard to do.
He wanted to punch his computer so bad 😆
Hot damn, that's a loud keyboard.
Topdeckin' an' wreckin'
So how did he have 3 fireballs

Top deck a heal to survive to see the fireball, all skill. Top deck the fireball, all luck. #Kappa
I think its funny Kripp will complain about his opponent getting card runs when he draws a flamestrike and heals to stay in the game
the other guy had crazy draw and a lot of spell damage I'm really not seeing the issue here
I mean Krip drew running Flamestrikes and a heal when he needed one
its not like he didn''t draw well.
You know he's spiting you guys by making these videos over and over. It's so meta you don't even know it.
It felt like this video was you not sharing many insights then showing a clip that didn't really reinforce your point.
7:00 Damn kripp must be at the gym ALOT
I still love Kripp
When was the last time Kripp even got 12 wins ?
That mage had like 4 frost bolts and 4 fireballs? its so dumb how sometimes you either win or lose simply because your opponent got lucky and drafted a crazy deck. like the time i hade 5 ice lances, i would just wait till i had them all in had. drop a spell power minion. Fostbolt and 5x ice lance.
Modeled purely of coin flips, since ties result in no transfer of win/loses
(1/2)^12
12 wins.
Salt mines overflowing...
Second mistake, not playing BGH after flamestrike. Dude, the score is 9-29! You need SPEED before he draws a fireball/pyroblast!
(and to let you guys see it too)
The chances of getting a class specific card in arena is much higher than a neutral card.
Mage is almost as likely as any other to have 7+ attack creature in arena. Only druid has a class specific creature with 7+ attack.
Northern85Star 1 Problem, No one gives a crap
Kripp should rename his channel to Krip Stone cause all i see him play and all his vids are about heart stones.
The footage of the gameplay looks stretched or out of focus it kind of hurts my eyes
So when you win its skill and when u lose its bad luck? Okay.
Sorry, but that troll was a giant mistake! That why you lose!
It's skill when you have a hand to work with (it's a choice) unlike top decking it's all about luck
He suffered for your wins.
HS is 90% RNG in lucky draws of cards and 10% skill.
@Neil Evans
Because Trump got popular by playing Hearthstone. So his whole fanbase mostly play hearthstone. Kripp was popular before Hearthstone. And kripp fanbase just follow him to whatever games he plays and they decided they dont like hearthstone. But doesnt matter cause they will still watch
