Superkol Is Cool Really? I find hunter to be one of the most consistent classes to pick in arena outside of Mage and Druid. I have yet to get a blow out 12-0 with Hunter because I'm not amazing at playing it, but every time I pick it I consistently get 8+ wins, even with decks that have no beast synergy at all. That's waaaay better than Warrior/Priest/Warlock, which sometimes have really lame drafts and die off at 4- wins. That hero ability just gets people man, the inevitability.
lkjkhfggd Hunter is a poor class in arena. Yes, warrior, priest, and warlock are worse, but what does that matter? If you want to consistently do well in arena (i.e. 7 wins every time), you pick mage whenever you see it. And when you dont, go for one of the next big four (rogue, paladin, druid, and shaman). Those are the only 5 classes that rack up an over 50% win rate each month in arena.
Thanks for the advice, but I'm good enough at arena to survive without picking Mage every time. I do fine with every class, I just occasionally do awful with the three classes I mentioned haha. Don't you get tired of playing the same cards every single time? As long as I reach 7 wins (getting my gold back), it's good enough.
In this game I really feel that some early misplays are what lagged you behind. And basically you were playing catch-up because of it. Great comeback at the end, though. :)
What he should have done was Wolfrider/Wrath/Hero Power on turn 7 instead of Druid of the Claw. He would have had 7 more effective HP and no minions for the hunter to UtH. (He would have drawn one less card and not have a 4/1 on the board, but the 7 effective HP is much more important when you're that low against a hunter and have so many cards up on him.)
if he would have drawn 3 cards instead of.. nothing... he would have won the turn after because the dark iron dwarf would have provided the 2 missing damage. just an awful play
The main reason is to burn the three dogs so he didn't have to waste the attacks of his other minions on the 1/1s. he said "i have to win now" by saving the attacks of the other minions and smacking the enemy in the face he was guaranteeing himself a win on the next turn, given that the enemy does not have a response.
Mons Henning mh yeah this way he could play the wolf rider and set up lethal but i still think that drawing cards is 99% of the time better and well.. it was here aswell so..
Kevin Zhou i don't really mind the pyro play to get rid of the doggys, i just think that not drawing 3 cards is a waste and counting on your opponent not doing anything to his or kripps life total, taunt, killing one of the minions or whatever is somewhat naive. i admit i didn't see the draft and don't know if dark iron was his only out for 2 extra damage but if you have more options or even life gain or anything else i think drawing is always better

Didn't feel like a really good game because the hunter opponent spended good cards in the beggining..I believe the outcome would be different if he made the first turns dealing 2dmg instead of playing good cards without protecting them..

abschussrampe I think MC tech would have also won him the game. Even if he missed the 1 in 4 on the adventurer, he uses the wolf rider to kill it. Then put out the pyro + shapeshift. Clear the last 2 wolves with the gnomish/kobald, hit for 4 with the argent. That leaves him at 17HP, and 11 damage on the board. Given that he was about to draw the darkscale healer, he would have survived one more turn (but he didn't know that). None the less, it was the right play, because it set up lethal for the next turn. Granted. Both plays likely would have won him the game. As well, I think using the nourish for card draw instead also would have won him the game, especially considering he had a darkscale healer.

Granted - given he top decked a heal, he would have won in a number of other plays too, but I still think it was the best play to make. And a clever one too, as I likely would not have thought of it.

It's a lot of fun to use in Aggro warlock arena runs. Turn one coin, wisp, mana wraith messes people up lol.
