Great session, ladies! Loved it. And also read through the Bible recap some years ago!
But I have one question… in the next chapter of Abraham’s story we are told “And the Lord went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.
Genesis 18:33 and
The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth”
Genesis 19:1
You (Erin) said, that these three men are the trinity. When looking at Chapter 18 it’s total plausible. But if we look at Chapter 19 the bible speaks of Angels.
Could you please explain, how we can bring this together?

"Visitors (v. 1). Only the two angels visited Lot, for the Lord could not fellowship with Lot and his family as He did with Abraham and Sarah. Even though Lot was a believer, his life was such that the Lord did not feel "at home" with him. It is the separated believer who enjoys the close walk (2 Cor. 6:14-18) and communion (John 14:21-24) with the Lord. Greek scholar Kenneth Wuest translated Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:17 "that the Christ might finally settle down and feel completely at home in your hearts through your faith" (Wuest). Unlike Abraham, Lot had no tent or altar; and the Lord could not fellowship with him.

Good explanation why god didn’t go to Sodom & Gomorra. Thanks. But when or from where did the angels come? It is said “the angels” not “some angels” so “the” refers back to someone mentioned before.
@@olesjabunk4619 Perhaps you interpret the passage differently and already have something in mind. Some people believe that one of the visitors was God Himself and the other two were the angels who later visited Sodom and spoke to Lot , thus "the" angels you are referring to.
