    This is my everyday carry and I love it, been using it religiously for fishing, camping and general use and no issues whatsoever probably sending it for a sharpen soon but still seems almost factory sharp surprisingly

      Great to hear! I think the 0357 is a dark horse in the ZT line and a great design. Thanks for watching.

      I really appreciate the design. I think it is a bit of a dark horse due to the assisted opening, which works just fine for me. Thanks for watching!

    I have two of these a silver wash and a black wash... this is as close to a perfect EDC knife as there is. The pricepoint is great and CPM 20 blade is amazing.

      I like this design as well. A bit of a dark horse in the ZT lineup and a great EDC.

    if it was designed by ken onion, i want it! so much greatness from this master designer--never gets old for me. this looks like the perfect edc (for me).

      I believe this was an in house design but it does have some similar lines to a classic Onion design.

      I'd recommend choosing this as a great knife and adding a ResQMe tool with spring-loaded breaker and dedicated strap cutter. www.gpknives.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=resqme

    I love the blade shape and design. But….. unfortunately I can’t carry it for more then a few hours because the blade will start developing surface rust. Never had experienced this, not even with a Walmart $10 folder.

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  3 года назад +1

      This is very unusual for CPM-20CV, even with a blasted finish. High humidity and corrosive environments could play a part. If performance is otherwise unusual, I would contact ZT. You can also try EDCi or another corrosion inhibitor if rust is the only issue. 👍

    this or the kershaw bareknuckle?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  3 года назад +2

      Both are great knives. Depends on what you are looking for design wise. Bareknuckle has a tougher steel and is non-assisted. 0357 has better edge retention and is assisted. 🤷‍♀️ Hope that helps in your decision process.

      I'm curious as to why you dont like speed safe opening...seems to me it only helps to get the blade open quickly. If you like the overall design why is that a deal breaker?

    • @gregwalker4236

      @@informedcitizen8687 i agree. i do like drop shut blades though. fortunately (or not, for finacial reasons) we can have more than one type of knife.
