- This is a video showing a list of all teams and stadiums for the 2022/23 German 2. Bundesliga season ordered by the capacities of the grounds. You will learn all the teams, crests and the name, capacity and opening year of each stadium. Each stadiums has an aerial and inside the ground image to bring you the best immersive experience.
The 2022-23 2. Bundesliga will be the 49th season of the 2. Bundesliga. It will begin on 15 July 2022 and conclude on 28 May 2023. Arminia Bielefeld, Greuther Fürth, 1. FC Magdeburg, Eintracht Braunschweig and 1. FC Kaiserslautern are new teams in the league.

Betzenberg / Fritz-Walter Stadion. ❤ Just like the Volksparkstadion it shouldn't really be in this video at all, but in the 1. BL one. Since the start of the 90's I've admired the support of the Kaiserslautern fans, who usually come in great numbers despite the town not being that big at all.
My favourite one is all of them! Bless German engineering and design these are fantastic!

Nuremberg... Max Morlok Stadium, by far. The unique look and the location in a forest does it for me.
That´s why I liked the old stadium in Karlsruhe, the surrounding was very nice.

wouldnt it be interesting to have europes second divisions play small tournaments in the style of champion's or euro league against each other?
Also: i think it looks shitty when you build a stadium with a capacity of 15.000 and you build it in an angle that enables you to comfortably enlarge the structure to a 50.000 arena. Football is so much better up close than from far away. thats why densely built, packed arenas with an indicidual touch deserve the name "Hexenkessel"/"The witch-cauldron"

Von der Gustavstraße mit'n Wegbier übern Wiesengrund, durch'n Friedhof ins Stadion, ist ein charmantes Ritual. Keine U Bahn, S Bahn oder Bus notwendig. 👍☘️

The years mentioned for each stadium are mostly incorrect as you've taken the date of the original stadiums,but these have,for the most part,been demolished at some point. 😉

Cant believe the amount of high capacity stadiums in this league. 16 Stadiums in German football with over 40k grounds. 5 of them in are in Bundesliga 2 and 1 in Bundesliga 3.
Contrast that with EPL where only 11 stadiums over 40k capacity have seen Premier League football (including Wembley for Spurs whilst they were re-building their stadium).

The Hamburger Volksparkstadion was completely rebuilt from 1998 - 2000 on the site of the old Volksparkstadion.
