you know I get this question a lot ... I think I'll need to do a video on this. Short answer is no, you don't need to be hafiz of the entire Quran

no this program has a different focus. More on familiarity and building mental associations with the diff maqamat. Also regarding the idea of a suitable maqam, check my channel - I did a video regarding that

yes the course mentioned in this video (Intro to Maqamat) is an overview of all 8 but I'm not running this course right now as of May 2023. currently running the Overnight Qari Experience which begins May 20 2023.
