Sir i tried to do modal analysis for reinforced concrete column and the 1st-4th mode has zero natural frequency. And then i tried to run the model without rebar and i get normal frequency results for the 1st mode. What do you think about this sir?
Thank you for the helpful video! In the end frequency is given in cycles/time. That is actually natural frequency = number of cycles in one unit for time (usually second) or am I wrong?
Hi Aleksa, if you look at time 6:12 in the video, it shows all the unit systems in abaqus, and you can see that every unit system option uses seconds as the unit for time. So you're correct, the frequency output is in cycles/second or Hz.

Thanks! Can we get the mode shape curvature from this ?

Hello sir , I have this problem highest boundary of the computational interval is very close to an eigenvalues
Thank you for your video sir,
Could you please tell me, how to get the XYZ coordinate or mode shape amplitude of each mode?
Hi! Were you able to find an answer for this?
