I think sometimes people don't understand they aren't just paying for when you get there but your time driving, fuel, your tool and scanner, that all has to come out of the money you earn for jobs.
They could ask you to look at something else while you're there for the rest of the hour, but if not obviously if the jobs done then you're gonna move onto the next one.

Nice one, honesty always best policy, if I were the customer I’d be calling you in the future as they know you are not a company that’s going to rip them off. I’m fairly local to you and I know when I need help you will be the person I’ll call. 👍😃

Delboy's phrase, 'You dipstick, Rodney'', comes to mind.
Just went out and checked mine. Unfortunately it seems I don't need training in replacement of dipticks and oil caps.
My motor cuts out after some seconds. Oil and filter change, new oil pressure switch. New fuel filter, new fuel pump. Still cuts out. Would one of those readers be able to tell me the problem? And do you recommend that one? I've spent hours reading reviews for one for a Opel/Vauxhall Tigra Corsa, but can't find one that everyone is happy with. Have a fuel pressure meter coming tomorrow supposedly with a fitting for the Schrader valve on the fuel rail -- why do 99% of kits not have such a fitting. I think it's just going to confirm low pressure. But what's the cause??
    Thanks.

Hopefully the dipstick has a good one ring seal if removal causes that amount of engine poor running. Is it worth offering the customer a oil change as the oil could be contaminated with excessive petrol as engine ecu been dumping it in those cylinders to try correct lean conditions

I think you meant to say, too much air, or not enough fuel. Scannerdanner did one like this, too. As I recall, like you he wasn't overly concerned, but I wondered if there was a problem with the PCV. At idle the PCV should be shut, and you shouldn't have much vacuum in the crankcase at idle. Or, are these new cars different? I'm surprised the 0420 was fixed with just that, or maybe it requires a longer drive cycle to reset? I'm guessing the built in diaphragm/PCV of the intake manifold was leaking, but I'm just a lowly amateur....

I love your videos about all the DPF issues on different makes and models of cars, I have a vauxhall Corsa 1.4 petrol and the rad cooling fan is running permanently, when he bought the car the rad cooling fan fuse was blown and when I replaced the fuse I found out the fan was seized so changed the fan but was like I say running continuously so changed the thermostat because it was stuck closed then changed both the coolant temp sensor in the rad and engine then I changed the rad fan resistor in the rad fan housing but fan is still running continuously, I've checked all wiring to ECU from sensors and all is fine no broken wire changed the fan relay but it is still running continuously all I can think of now is that there is a fault inside the ECU do you think I could be right?

I also did live data with both temp sensors and they were within 5°c of each other once thermostat opened but like I say even from cold the fan is on, I would stick the fan on a separate toggle switch but with vauxhall being money saving skinflints they never put a temperature guage in the dash just a red light that comes on when it's too late.
