Well, a significant portion of your grade in college is from big writing assignments, they want to know that the person they are accepting to their institution is a good writer. (And no writing about yourself and about academic topics isn’t the same thing, but it’s a very similar skill set)
I related my essay to a musical I love and how I related to a character but learned throughout high school that I need to take charge in my life which isn’t something the character did and I got into a great school

I said that driving was a big part of who I am and that I very much value freedom and privacy, which is something I often get from a car ride by myself. Don’t use something that you’re not familiar with, go with something you know well to explain yourself. (Btw I’m going to a school for cybersecurity and I got into my main school, didn’t get any rejections but I also didn’t apply to all of them)
What if I write my college essay about my desire to burn the paper because I'm so fucking tired of this shit? I have to do all that to get into college, pay, and I'm still not guaranteed a comfortable future especially with the amount of debt.
