14. What a non-complaint, unsafe internal roof work area looks like (and how to fix it)

When RIGCOM arrived on site, the main problem was that there were no complying access ladders. The landing platforms were unsafe and there were unsecured old wooden boards with no guardrails to prevent a fall.
RIGCOM designed a solution, installing a walkway throughout, a guardrail on either side and new permanent ladders which provided far better access to the rooftop areas.
