That is just an incredibly brilliant way to depict the Yellow Brick road and having the turntable split so that as one setpiece rises another drops? It had to have cost an absolute fortune....and worth every single penny.

I saw the touring company of this at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. One of the best plays I have ever seen. The special effects were amazing and the costumes were wonderful. The cast was awesome, especially the scarecrow.

We didn’t get a round circle yellow brick road in Brisbane. We had a sloped yellow brick road. I was a bit disappointed but hey I’m glad I watched it on Sunday.
