When I was a kid, my mom used to work in the Costco bakery during the holidays. They bake all that stuff. And they frost them too. At least at hers. There’s actually a bunch of big 19:53 box store and grocery store cake decorators on Tiktok who will film themselves decorating all the stuff that goes in the pastry case and fulfilling their custom orders. Sometimes they’re vague but sometimes they’ll straight up say they’re a Walmart/Safeway/whatever cake decorator. Maybe that’s not true for every store, but it’s a lot of them!
