Warrior cats is literally an anime but in a books xd Examples: -Firestar is the classic idiot protagonist obviousus to love -Sandstorm is a Tsundere -Graystripe is the character with the protagonist has Yaoi problems -Bluestar is the master who dies -Scourge is the classic Evil brother (This is very common in the animes) -Cinderpelt is the Timid Healer has in love with the protagonist -Tigerstar is the Traitor or the classic Psychopatic -Brambleclaw is the classic Sasuke of the series Etc
I can feel the Ginga so hard in this. Sometimes I forget how heavily 'Ginga Nagareboshi Gin' and 'Ginga Densetsu Weed' influenced the early animations in this fandom. And the fact that very little people in the fandom even know what the Ginga series is hurt me a lil bit :,)
They look INCREDIBLE I love raven's hair and design it reminds me of atsushi from BsD! and just bluestar is beautiful all of them are the animation is just gorgeous 🥰

Ah, the nostalgia. I love the analog/VHS-like effects that were added as well. I've been revisiting some older anime recently and this feels like it would slot right in with those old OVAs!
there's a clip of GDW where Rocket starts a howl in ep 10 about 3 - 4 minutes in that always gives me goosebumps, literally like straight choking emotionally in tears even when i play it back twice like i'd cry both times around. almost makes me wish cats could howl? i really like in ep 2 when Smith guilt trips Hook into breaking off the leash. oh snap, i just discovered there's an entire manga dub of the comic in monochrome text too.
I want to thank you for making this. You definitely brought back a lot of memories of when I started reading warriors, SSS warriors was definitely something that also inspired me and probably other to start doing drawings and everything This is definitely a lot of memories being brought back for a lot of people and thank you I love the hair, the hair is amazing Your animation style is just amazing!
