I am very nostalgic. I miss the Caffe Dante I used to know from way back in the 70s up to a couple of years ago. Now it is just another place like many, Back then it was unique There were two places you could go and pass the time as you wished just sitting back reading or just talk or looking around yourself in front of a cappuccino and a canoli Both of them on MacDougal Street. Caffe Reggio and Caffe Dante. There was even a third one on the corner of MacDougal and Bleeker St.. It was called Caffe Borgia and is long gone.
