In 70's 80's, they allow students to come to malacañang as part of the field trip. I was one lucky girl that time.

My tito/uncle told me that every christmas Marcos family would invite street childrens to have christmas party inside the malacañang.
Yes. Just like pres. Magsaysay. I was 6 years old and everyonce in a while they invite poor families and gave them groceries while us children play and eat some ice cream, etc.

I had a chance of visiting the palace in the '70s when we, thousands of scholars of President Marcos were invited at the Maharlika Hall where he encouraged us to study hard and then serve our country in whatever way we can in return. ❤🇵🇭
Some Filipinos still doesn't realize how lucky we are to have this guy as the President, just look at him, very sincere to his words and you can really feel his love and dedication to serve the country.

The old man is the one President Bongbong Marcos interviewed before, yeah he is still alive and he is now 98 years old and our presidents Chief of legal affairs, his office is in the Malacanang palace.
Those paintings on the walls some of them where taken by the palace helpers and when PBBM came back to the palace the helpers bring back what they took.

Back in 2008 ,when I was in high school, we toured Marcos Malacañang palace in Ilocos. It was so big that I only entered three bedrooms, the dining and the living room, then the tour guide called us and said okay time is up, two hours is already finished. I was so dissatisfied then. How much more this real Malacañang Palace is. I think each room here is huge and more beautiful and has many attractive decorations to see that makes you stay there for a while. Oh...Wow! how beautiful it must be to have a tour there. Miss Toni G is so lucky.

I was able to tour around Malacanang in the early 90's. And I have seen the former rooms of Apo Lakay and Madam Imelda.
Malacañan Palace is not just about the history of BBM and his family. It is the history of the Filipino people. Built in the 18th centurt to a wealthy Spanish-Filipino family, sold to the Spanish Government and used as the residence of the several Spanish Governor General where the mother of Jose Rizal went up to the stairs on her knees to beg for the life of her son (the reason that presidents during turn over of power comes down and goes up as a tradition). Used as residence of all American Governor-Generals and all Philippine Presidents except Emilio Aguinaldo. Used by already 3 families. The Macapagal presidency and then by her daughter Macapagal-Arroyo. Cory Aquino and his son Noynoy Aquino. And finally FEM and BBM. It is the first bullet proof house, only bomb proof building and the first to have been installed an air conditioning in the Philippines. If you really want to see the specifics of Malacanan Palace, please react to a documentary by National Geographic Channel. And yes, you can visit the palace, but only to the left side of it.

Juan Ponce Enrile is a person we call "The Immortal" because at 98 years old he outlived the past presidents from Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon, Laurel, Osmena, Roxas, Quirino, Magsaysay, Garcia, Macapagal, Marcos Sr, C. Aquino, Ramos, and Aquino Jr. he even outlived QEII. and yes, he is one of the brilliant lawyers of his time.
and he still lives until today in the time of BBM. yes, he deserves the title "The Immortal"
I've been here when I was in Grade 3 for School Field Trip. I saw the 3,000 shoes of Madam Imelda Marcos too. They made it as Museum. It also located in Malacanang. I'm glad I've experience it. ❤

I was 2-4 yrs old, i chanced inside and outside malacañang bec of our tatay, a former psg/ metrocom. Psg/ metrocoms' family were invited every year to join their christmas party in malacañang. We used to ride a barge or a small ship via pasig river ( which i learned it was pasig, already when i aged) going there together with other families. Enjoyed the children's party. Never thought, no idea as a toddler, that the venue is the malacañang, which i thought was i was just playing around and inside a big park or simply say a "huge beautiful house" . I also chanced to peek into the barracks of the psg's. Our nanay saw to it that her kids had to wear new dresses and new shoes. The only thing that spoiled my night one time there was when i stepped on a gum, with my new, sequined closed shoes. Lol. Whoever was the one who didnt even look for a trash can or even wrapped it in a piece of paper, gosh.
Yep, that was Juan Ponce Enrile - the man interviewed by PBBM re the EDSA revolution. He is now PBBM's Chief Legal Counsel - at the age of 96 (or 98?). That woman introduced to Toni before they entered Enrile's office is Katrina, Enrile's daughter.

8:25 the one who passed away was Fidel V. Ramos. Juan Ponce Enrile and Fidel were one of the close friends and alliance of the Late Ferdinand E. Marcos but both went against him and join the opposition. I salute BBM and their family because they chose to forgive and moved on. A good example of a true Christian.. unlike some Catholic priest (sorry mentioning them but they are priest. They should practice what they preach but very disappointing that some of them are even encouraging people to you know speak and do things which is against the Word of God.)
