The edge this one has for a mass pleasing picture perfect masculine designer masterpiece is that it deters 10-minute-blotter testers while attracting niche snobs with a unusually zingy citrus / aldehydic orange opening.
While impatient blotter testers miss out on the major league scent development and base note of this one niche snobs on the other hand get lured into one the most mass pleasing generic compliment getting drydowns.
It smells beautiful in winter but to make it really shine you need heat and body movement to get to the beautiful final fresh laundry stage as fast as you can, that‘s why sports.
My favorite of this line, and the one that wear the most this winter, it's the amazing Parfum. And second the Intense that wear mostly on weekends. But i've tried this new Sport version on a sunny afternoon and was amazed to how well it blended to a warm and sunny weather. Bought it and i really like it, much better than the DH 2020. Love that spiciness that you refer, was very surprised how i like it on a casual wearing Will work wonders on the warm Portugal summer, i bet!
I'm probably not really into that particular fragrance itself, but I wanted to say that I very much enjoy your focused single-fragrances reviews like this and I'd love more of them!

After spending much time in a Sephora in New York City, I decided on the new Dior Sport because it really lingers with a citrusy note, after trying so many other colognes there. Now I like it so much!! It smells like an orange cream popsicle at first, then a woodsy peppery note. It is very intriguing, and I keep smelling myself all throughout the day. It is quite lasting. A very good purchase, I think.

Glad to see the Dior staff dont just know product in Australia. Have had EAU Sauvage testers at multiple store boutiques and they use the 2012 version as the tester and have absolutely no idea that its discontinued and the current version is different,

I knew as soon as the intro played this was going to be a fun one. It's saddening that the Dior Homme line is becoming so confusing and losing some of its romance, which is something rare and beautiful to capture in a fragrance.

I think the bottles in the thumbnail are the 2017 bottles. It doesn't really matter though all the bottles look so similar.
I really like how Dior approaches their lines and new releases. Its confusing at because sometimes the newest is an updated version and sometimes it's a new creation like 2020Homme. I think 2021sport is pretty unique.
This is the best sprimnh and summer scent and so long lasting wouuuu 😎😍

Me asking for a Dior fragrance and the sales rep having no idea, happened to me a few times lol.
I was asking for Dior Homme, the old formulation, not the new one. The rep was looking at me like I was dumb and making up things. I explained to her the situation and she told me that doesn’t exist. This is Dior Homme and it’s always been that.
I just thanked her and left.
Edit: And I actually like this one. It does what it was set out to do. Be a sport fragrance and I bought myself a bottle. Already got compliments, which is usually rare.

@@clemenceccfragrance Oh Clémence, and that’s nothing. After that, I had the pleasure to have a little chat with ANOTHER Dior rep. In short, we chatted for a while and they didn’t have what I wanted, so out of curiousity, I asked if they had this, this or that discontinued Dior fragrance. The rep said they do not, because fragrances have a 36 month shelf life and after that, they expire. Literally, like milk. I told her, that is not exactly true, but she insisted, because they will last 3 years tops and that’s it.
Then I also told her that my friend managed to buy me a bottle of Dior Homme Parfum that she managed to find at an airport (literally 30 minutes before I went to sniff around at Dior lol). She out right told me that it was a stupid purchase, because the fragrance is discontinued and it’s not sold anywhere, so it’s either fake, or if it isn’t, then it has expired and gone bad. Yeah, it’s a 2022 formulation from January.
These people don’t know anything and they act like they in fact know it all!!😤
I had a similar experience when Homme 2020 came out. I went and asked for a tester of the NEW homme. The sales woman was baffled and didn’t know what I was talking about 😄 I got the tester still though

I'm really confused with what I like best from the whole line because of how many flankers it has. At first I didn't like Sport 2021 but now I really do. You just can't go wrong with Dior.

Hey Clemence, not a fan of “sport” fragrances as you say they are usually this boring generic smell now. I also think the black pepper being so strong would be off putting- I didn’t like CDG black pepper 🙈 my favourite “sport” or gym scents are Guerlain Ideal Cool, Chanel allure edition Blanche and ADP Fico di Amalfi - no need for Sport flankers 😂😂 thanks for the video though 👏👏 honest as always
Anything that smells like a shower gel shouldn't cost more than 12euros. I don't care the brand or house. If it smells cheap it should cost cheap. And this one smells cheap in my opinion. I'm not even going to use the two small testers I have.
