Love that colour of forester though dude, probably my fave. Tint looks rad with that colour. I have the sage green and the limo tint on it just looks off.
Kick arse. I have an SH also with 30mm lift springs, but where we differ is I have 225/65/17s which are the biggest you can get in the wheel arches without rubbing. I use mine expressly for soft sand driving on Queensland Australia double island point and Fraser island. I lose a bit of power with the tyres being 6% bigger diameter, but the larger footprint means I can wave to the bogged hiluxs as I drive past. Forresters are such a great vehicle. Best wishes from Australia.
As always, great videos. FYI I ran into the same conundrum. Its the offset. you really need -30mm from factory rims to confidently clear the brakes on the vast majority of 15in rims. Method, BRhino, DX4 etc are +15mm, which is which like.. -33mm from the factory spec of +48mm. So if you buy steelies for example… most will require a spacer.
Just bought my 15 forester not lifted. Came with 235/65r17. Not sure if they are cooper all seasons. Want to go with same size falcon at3. Want different rims than factory but don't want to spend it this year. Selling my Buick but debating on pulling rims and using wheel adapters. I probably could spend same on rims as adapters though. Looking forward to my first Subaru winter experience.
I'm very confused, you are running the same size as Stock forester tires and rims. Why would they rub? Stock are 225/60R17 and 225/55R18. That is 701mm diameter and 704mm diameter With your 215/75R15 that is also a 704mm diameter.... how is it even possible that those tires are rubbing?
Offset differences, plus tire sizes are not universal. I've bought tires that where stated to be the same size but had almost a full inch difference overall diameter.
@@ruinedfilmz4131 from what I have seen many people saying, 235's with a high profile really suck the power out of the car. 225 would be a good compromise. Granted 235's do look mighty good, got to weigh up the downsides of them too.
thanks for these vids really helpful info about tire size. most everything I look up is about crosstreks.
Complimenti per le migliorie apportate e per il bellissimo colore della Forester.

what's the biggest tyre you can fit in your spare tyre wheel well?
@@damianv8200 the same size will fit but I deflate it to get it in, and I always carry my compressor.
What size offset are your Rims? Mine are stock +48
@@damianv8200 hi, not sure, just the standard rims. Merry Christmas 🤶
would a 25mm spacer clear the bolts?

How bad was doing the alignment after the lift ?
Wasn’t bad at all, took it in right after and they had no problems aligning it!
Really the 15's didnt clear your brakes? I run 15" black rhinos and they cleared perfectly
Yeah this set of sparco’s has a lip on the inside of the barrel for some reason that hits the breaks. Was not happy about it for sure!

225 would have looked way better
215 looks so skinny
I agree that’s why I’m going to 235s next year
