    Ghisi Piti Muhabbat is one of the best dramas playing in recent times. Saamya is actually a really relatable character, aur even Tashi and Phupos characters are adorable.

    No body could have done Samia better than Ramsha, Nor even Sajal... Sajal's face doesn't suit this character. Ramsha's face n personality suits that character more than anybody else in the industry and she looks so apt for it.. As if tailored for this role.. The end product is beautiful.. She has that wit, charm, that depth and sadness in her eyes which can change into strength n self confidence in a fraction of a second camouflaging it in the most unique way which I haven't seen in anybody to this extent.. She is absolutely adorable!!! Never knew she was such a power packed performer.. She has Wonderfully sketched the character of Samia by way of her expression, personality, intensity in her eyes and modulation, her pretty smile n gestures, her dewy n hair n persona is icing on the cake. Kudos Ramsha.. Love FROM India

    Loved the interview! What an intelligent and deep thinker. Really appreciate him!! Kudos to Fuchsia for not only pursuing the "ghisa pita" formula of pursuing only stars but rather recognizing that dramas are successful because of writers, directors, supporting leads, producers..."Zebaish"resoundingly demonstrated that stars alone don't make a successful drama.

      Well said! I think the young leads interviews are cliche. The same gissi pitti superficial, talk from all of them. The seniors have so much more and interesting to tell from their experiences.

    I was so waiting for this interview. He's such a down to earth person, and you can see that in his writing and his choice of characters. Mohini Mansion was a superb serial. So is Ghisi Piti Mohabbat. He's one of those rare writers who are both eager and bold to explore the lower middle class society.

    Its so good to see such type of writers exist in Pakistan. Depicting each gender as progressive is the type of dramas we need. Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has messed up the drama industry with his oppressive dramas that only shine with a few hard hitting dialogues but have layers of oppression and negative vibes folded into them

    • @arsalaa126
      @arsalaa126 3 года назад +1

      So True. I used to like KRQ dramas due to Pyare Afzal but then I saw a pattern in his stories and dialogs which was very negative and regressive.

    Fasih is so right in actual life insaf nahi hota. Hmary dramas mey last episode mey kisi ko maar dety hn kisi ko pagal kra dety hn. Real life mey aisa kaha hota ha??? A distant cousin of my mother married to her brother in law. And they are living happily for past 10 years. Close to Jalan story...

  • @mahnoorqureshi9112
    @mahnoorqureshi9112 3 года назад +30

    I agree with him that dramas should raise questions for the society to ponder on, without being preachy or educational. Slapping women has become a norm in dramas and people watch it without any remorse. A girl slapping the husband however, made people take notice and think about the women getting them all the time. It’s like someone getting a taste of your own medicine, or waking you up from sleep.

  • @ayeshaali864
    @ayeshaali864 3 года назад +10

    I don't understand the question about the slap, a man is stealing, cheating, and breaking the marriage contract at every level and the women cannot even show her anger or frustration? In Pakistani dramas, I have been seeing women getting slapped all the time it was refreshing to see a man getting slapped and pushed and a woman showing her frustrations not just crying. Kudos to the writer.

    I am watching this drama n just saw this interview.. I must appreciate how decently the writer has exposed the reality of society n specially problems and challenges faced by women in this age. Samiya’s life brought many times tear in my eyes. Besides a very strong woman, I found her helpless many times in front of society and at the same time saw her coming out with new strength and courage. Hats off to the writer 👏👏

    Im so glad that u did an interview with Fasih Bari, i simply love his work. I havent seen all of his dramas but the ones i've seen i thoroughly enjoyed. Nowadays enjoying ghissi piti mohabbat. I wish he would write web series or something like that so that he can freely display his creative output which is hindered when one is writing for pakistani tv drama.

  • @basmahriaz4349
    @basmahriaz4349 3 года назад +23

    There's never any need to show a man slapping a woman. In fact, if the few good writers we have would focus on the aftermath of domestic abuse, such as, showing the abused face of a woman after bearing physical violence, then that would leave a more lasting impact on the viewers. I remember Muneeza Hashmi had banned slapping women on PTV when she was the MD. I wonder why Sultana Siddiqui wouldn't take the same measure as the Director of Hum TV.

    Nice to see there are young writers that actually know what they want to achieve with their writing, have some goals etc. Because yes we had brilliant writers in the 50s..80s but now they're all pretty much dead. But this interview gave me hope that not all are hopeless writers! Looking fwd to seeing more of his work. Best of luck. 🕊️🕊️🕊️

Pehle i thought at the end she wud marry the first husband again, he wud be embarrassed and stuff since she loved him the most. But ab i think it will end like she being alone and strong after 4th divorce. I usually dont watch many dramas neither do i pass commnets but this one was about a strong headed girl so i wanted to share my stance .Asmara and shoaib will also end up being together .

    the character of samiya is very unique. generally aisay bold and hot headed characters hamaray dramas mei males keliye likhe jaatay hain.
    female characters are either meek and docile type ya phir full on sazishi ab misha aur nisha ko dekhlo
    misha was Allah mia ki gayen ke husband ne pregnancy mei dhaka dekar talaq dedi and she was still ready to return to him and ek taraf nisha jisko behen ke marne ka bhi dukh nahi hua.
    we need to have more variation in our female characters loving the character of taashi I find her to be the most sensible of the 3 sisters

    Had to come back and comment that GPM is the most sensitive /intelligent script written in a long long time. I was watching the second last double episode and I felt like I WAS ramsha. When she was starting her first day at work and got inappropriately touched, I felt sick. When she was walking down the street and the neighborhood guy passed a comment, I felt sad. And my hurt broke for her when I found out that guy #4 had staged the kidnapping. I feel so invested in ramsha like I have never for any other character. I almost feel a maternal instinct for her. Want to protect her. THAT is the power of a good script and a good actor. THANK YOU FASIH BARI. You are a legend! An asset of the Pakistani drama industry
