Good video guys. I used to use virtualmin back in 2009-2010 before I had fully mastered command line management. It had that iconic UI I'll never forget.. interesting to see how it's changed now in 2016. Looks prettier but perhaps has lost some of its charm.

Und wir schauen auch, wenn es weniger geworden ist von der Gesellschaft und nur noch das Materielle in der Form leider auch weniger geworden ist. Und das muss wieder gestärkt werden. My server specifications are : 1gb ram, 30gb ssd, Single core intel xeon processor running ubuntu 18.04. Right now it hosts one website and is running a mail server as well. Virtualmin is better then CWP centos web panel, i try centos web panel and it is a headacke, i love virtualmin which you can do any inside of this panel. i give from 5 star definetly. This is my 10 year experience saying. Thank to great developers

I'm sorry you're having trouble accessing your account. Have you tried the password reset function on our website? (Click "Lost your password?" on the Sign In page). If that doesn't work, feel free to create a new account and open a support query by sending a PM to the staff group, and we'll help you confirm your email address is correct (which I guess is why you don't receive email and can't reset the password for your account). I can see your account and your license, so you'll definitely have access to the license on the My Account page once you log in, but we'll also be happy to issue a refund, if you prefer.
It is captioned, so you can enable CC to see text of the spoken instructions and commentary. They are not automatic captions (we paid someone to caption it), so they are accurate. I'll try to speak more clearly and slowly on future videos.
When you install Virtualmin it installs Webmin. You can't possibly have Virtualmin without Webmin (it's a Webmin module), but you should NOT preinstall Webmin, or anything else. Start with a freshly installed supported OS and run the install script as documented on our website on the download page.

I have used Webmin about a 20 years ago, when internet was still new, and Linux was still difficult to install, but then I switch to SME server, or Koozali as it is known now, it was magic at the time, easy to install all-in-one webserver. And then Centos killed it by removing all the repositories. So now I must find somthing to replace that. I do like the Virtualmin system. I'm testing it now. ( I must run php 5.4 on it) I have my own version of Opencart that I wrote over about 10 years to suit my setup and I just never had the time or willpower to rewrite on a newer version. If this works I'm good for 4 years. It does work with just webmin, but I wan't to make the server a bit more verstile. Regards Hendri

How can I install litespeed wordpress with virtualmin? I am on digitalocean server but I have already installed litespeed wordpress. Will I have any problem if I install virtualmin now?
Im not having much luck figuring this out. I am used to having one user name and all of my domains listed under public_html. Like this /home/username/public_html/domain1.com /home/username/public_html/domain2.com /home/username/public_html/domain3.com I just cant seem to get there, been at it all day too.
Those are cPanel style "sub-domains" (or maybe it's a plesk style, too, I dunno). We disabled that type of account in Virtualmin about 10 years ago because it was just too ugly, too prone to security issues, and too confusing for people who weren't coming from cPanel. What you want to do instead of trying to do cPanel style "sub-domains" is create Sub-Servers. Each sub-server will have a new directory within /home/username/domains, which will contain a new public_html, and its own log directory and configuration. A sub-server is a whole new domain-based website that is owned by the same user as its parent website. In short, you'll have a primary website in /home/domainname/public_html, and your sub-servers in /home/domainname/domains/subservername/public_html You should check out the tutorials section of our website, as well as the videos: www.virtualmin.com/documentation/tutorial It covers many common tasks, and occasionally mentions some of the gotchas people experience when migrating from cPanel or Plesk.
Your primary domain website data goes in /home/domainname/public_html, and your sub-servers website data goes in /home/domainname/domains/subservername/public_html. These paths are automatically generated when you create the virtual server or sub-server. What else are you unsure of?
No, it is in both GPL and Pro. If you're logged in as root or a user that has sudo ALL privileges, you'll have the ability to switch to the admin account for each domain.

Virtualmin installs whatever version of MySQL or MariaDB is available on your OS of choice. It doesn't move it, or install a custom version. But, it always installs one or the other, no matter what distribution or what options you chose during install. So...it's in there, unless there were errors during installation (in which case, you'll need to start over...you can post the errors in our forum and we may be able to help sort out the cause). You can browse to the Webmin MySQL module (in the Servers category) if you want to confirm for yourself that it's actually there.
Thank you for your reply, i did try to open on forum as new user but never get the answer.. i have installed 3 time on vps but couldnt see edit database menu, it never ever come.. On all installation, i finish with success, i also installed old version before never had such case...i am not sure what cause this. Hope can be checked some how. By the way, i love virtualmin, thanks for developing such product but my suggestion is, to show on panel, donate button or something about pro package would be good for you, at least we would support pay as you wish way... And, is it enabled for the domain (look in Edit Virtual Server->Enabled Features->MySQL Database Enabled? and then make sure they have a database in their account)?
There is a free version that is more powerful and flexible than any other Open Source or free control panel on the market. I don't know what more you want from us. Virtualmin is already almost entirely made and supported with volunteer labor (i.e. most of us don't make money from the project).

@@CampX4 I believe CentOS 7 is the only supported OS that has a PHP version that old, so that's probably where you want to start.

You should not install Virtualmin on a system that is already in service. And, we do not support litespeed web server, only nginx and Apache.

Yes I figured that part out. But I am not clear on how that works. I will go back to that and see what happens with multiple domains.
