Hey guys!! Hope you enjoy today’s video! 😘😘😘 I’m currently spending my last day in Italy today, then tomorrow I’ll be in Paris and then we have our traveling journey back home! xoxox I’ll try my best to keep up with comments when I get back but may be a bit slower now since my trip is finishing up! Love you! ❤️❤️
Jena Froese WOW! Enjoy every minute of it! 🤩🥳 I know you’re watching your spending with all these new releases... Here’s an idea for a video... Do we really need the new palette? The challenge is the eye look has to look the same on each eye. So if a person has the ND Sunset palette, do they really need the BIBA palette? For example, BIBA on one eye and Sunset on the other eye!
Great vid. I don't buy Too Faced anymore for the reasons you said & more. So sorry your vacay is ending. I know it's been full, but it still feels fast. Have a safe return.
Exactly, just by looking the way they treated nikkiturorials and her palette, you can definitely tell their name fits them perfectly. They are really unethical.
Makeup is for adults not for under 18 years. So any sexual names and even the cartoons are for the adults who love cartoons. Like The Simpsons cartoons is cartoons for adults. Any parents allowing their under 18 years old daughters to purchase makeup on their own are allowing them to read everything and all brands are using sexual language. Too faced only adds cartoons for adults who love cartoons. NARS products names would also be read by under 18 years old girls too if they are out shopping alone. I dont believe Too Faced is targeting younger audiences, they are making adult products fun. If you allow your daughter to go buy makeup before she is 18 years old then you are acknowledging she also knows about sex. Somehow they are linked because women wear makeup to be attractive which is generally for the opposite sex hence a teenager into makeup is already exposed somehow. Just sayin' :) younger kids cannot be wearing adult makeup.....there are kids makeup at Walmart! Ulta and Sephora do not carry kids makeup! The parent who is concerned and watchful will not take her daughter to adult makeup stores with all these adult makeup brands' products that have sexual names all over them. ;)
@@nasin7523 Wait parents shouldn’t allow their daughters under 18 to buy makeup? What about the 15 or 16 year olds that work & earn their own $$? Do u think 15 yr olds don’t wear makeup?
I think too faced's marketing strategy is on purpose - it's to cast the widest net possible to get the most sales. They don't care that pre-teens will see the more "adult" products. Brands will always say that they are not parents. I'm going to guess the original concept was to capture the "2 sides" of a woman - girly and playful and adult and sultry. However, I would love to know how many women are part of their marketing team??!!! Here's a real unpopular opinion - do you ever feel like too faced is a bunch of men deciding what they THINK women are and what women want? (I realize makeup is not just for women and I don't mean to exclude anyone with this comment, but I do get the sense that too faced is not necessarily a brand that is participating in gender identity or expression inclusion/equity).
Very good point and it definitely applies. Perhaps that is why I am not attracted to the brand. They also seem to jump on trends rather than starting them.
Jaime Ketchum I think the thing about Jeffree is that he doesn’t claim/market to a young audience to begin with, as opposed to TF who purposefully put cartoons and rainbows and pastels that market towards a younger audience while simultaneously including adult themes. If that makes sense lmao
Beauty from Within I bought the natural matte palette for my cousin . And I don’t realize the names were so sexual lol I ended up not giving it to her but it’s gorgeous
@Jaime Ketchum @SL Barbieri Jeffree is a very sexual person. Anyone who watches his videos would know that. He makes tons of crude jokes and talks about his sex life with Nate in a joking manner. Children SHOULD NOT be watching his videos or buying makeup. It’s a parents responsibility to monitor what their children are watching. My parents wouldn’t let me buy or wear makeup until I was 16 and they monitored my computer activity and phone activity till I was 17. I didn’t have a phone until I was 14. Parents now a days are totally irresponsible and lazy. They let their kids have phones at like 8 years old and use electronics to babysit and occupy their kids so they don’t have to. It’s pathetic. Jeffree is a creative mastermind and is a business genius. He has a passion for putting forth only the highest quality of makeup products. He cares about his customers because he himself buys makeup all the time and knows how most brands are in it for the money- they don’t care about the quality of the products they are putting out. Jeffree’s products are the best of the best, quality and luxury from the product to the packaging, every minute detail. Jeffree’s success is a true rags to riches story. He is a very giving and grateful man. His story is inspiring and I look up to him. He has overcome a lot of things that I too have struggled with- mental health issues, cutting himself, growing up with a parent struggling with addiction... he is so so strong and has a beautiful soul. Most people don’t know this because they only listen to rumors and drama and focus on his past. People have the ability to grow and change and he is a beautiful example of that. I support him 100%.
Very immature reach for market segment, whatever they think they’re marketing for. Not unpopular opinion, it’s a pretty accurate observation. Yes to tin eye palettes. I have 4
Totally agree with the mixed marketing. It feels like they’re training young women to devalue themselves. It reinforces the old idea that a woman’s worth is only measured by her sexuality and desirability.
As a lifetime cosmetics addict, NOT in recovery, I am very appreciative of your videos. I often have thoughts and questions about the quality of the products I have purchased or am considering for future purchase. Your content is relevant, well researched, and timely. I, like everyone else, am often pressed for time and ALWAYS hyper aware of the cost vs quality aspect of cosmetics. You help me tremendously in my efforts to look my best and get the most for my hard earned money. THANK YOU 😊❤️

Nasreen Nikbakht Okay boomer. I understand maybe not watching little kids or maybe even young teens to wear makeup but what is wrong with teenagers in their mid to late teens wearing makeup? “Adult stores” like Sephora, legit just sell regular makeup, nothing inappropriate for minors. Sexual names are kinda weird for makeup but that’s okay. Minors, of the appropriate age, should be taught about sex and anatomy so it’s way less frustrating and confusing when they get older. Whilst sexual names for makeup aren’t the best either way there is nothing wrong with minors of the appropriate age learning about sex and having a proper sex education. Sex is natural, it’s a way humans reproduce, minors start to feel sexual urges as they mature so we should teach them that what they are feeling is natural and we should inform them and teach them how to be safe. Your comment regarding minors is backwards and disgusting. I don’t know what world you were brought up in but I feel so bad that you were lead to believe and spew such thinking in 2019.
@@koaliia1390 everyone has the right to their opinion I think ur backwards too.....so go complain to the makeup world not me lool. I love makeup I'm an adult cheers!
Nasreen Nikbakht lmao i’m 13 and i go to ulta all the time w my mom, friends and even my boyfriend goes with me sometimes. My mom doesn’t care if i see their names, because it doesn’t really matter. It’s not like it’s going to change anything.
@@susannah8256 Lmao we have 13 year olds like you who are allowed to have a BF but some women on here are appalled by the eyeshadow names or mascara names or lipstick names or any brands kinky names of their products. All I tried to communicate is....if a parent is so concerned about what things teenagers read....start with movies, schools, internet and not makeup.....just dont buy the makeup you hate your kid to read ...choose another brand, there are thousands of brands....but yet they choose to buy too faced and then complain that the name of an eyeshadow "made me feel weird and devalued" loooool hahahaaa super silly ridiculous!
Totally agreed with the marketing thing. I bought the chocolate gold and gingerbread spice palettes and since then I won’t buy anything else from them. Ever since the Rich Lives Matter cake, they lost me as a customer
Yeap, that left a bad taste in my mouth. Along with some of their other problematic behavior as well. I just avoid the brand altogether because I just can't think of anything they've come out with that other brands haven't done better already. There's nothing they put out that makes me want it badly enough to be willing to overlook their shenanigans.
@@Izinaima They mean "We are self important bastards". What I think the worst part is, is that I'm sure it was no big thing to them. Sort of like when someone tells a completely inappropriate joke. Oh, someone brought a "funny" cake. Let's post it. Then the apology was so by the book, written by a lawyer. Of course.
I recently swatched the trio holiday palettes they came out with this season at ULTA and then swatched the new Gingerbread Extra Spicy palette and the difference in formula was INSANE. The holiday palettes had barely any pigment and were incredibly chalky. The gingerbread palette (in the tin packaging like you said) had such good quality, buttery texture, super pigmented. It's ridiculous. I almost bought the holiday palettes online and I'm so glad I swatched them in store before doing so.
I’ve come to the conclusion that almost anything limited edition or holiday will be sub par quality. I mean, think about it... they’re not depending on repeat purchases because it won’t be available long enough for people to go through their first purchase and decide if they want to buy a second one. So it can be complete garbage and they’ve sold a single product to a bunch of people, which is what they’re after. And yes I HATE the overly sexual, yet cutesy marketing. It’s one of the reasons I personally don’t buy anything from Too Faced.
I do think TF is aware of their targeted audience. They deliberately put in those names to intrigue the younger audience. You know how teens tell those immature sex jokes? (Like all those nasty dirty joke key chains they sale at Clairs boutiques). Same idea different part of the market. Somehow it makes teens feel more grown up, like they are in on the joke and totally get it. They desperately want to feel grown up! Two Face is fully aware 💯
tw ? it's so gross when other teens say sex jokes ngl. they say rape jokes and amongst other sensitive issues as jokes and i'm like wtf ??? there's literally classmates that deal with these things and they take it as a joke ? it's extremely rude and insensitive
100% they know their audience and how to make their audience feel grown up and edgy. Whilst still appealing to the young and those who want to be young and fun.
That is quite an insight Jena, Too Faced has had this ambiguity in their marketing for some time now. Young teens do not need to be further exposed to this sexualization from makeup and skincare products! ~Regina~
I actually agree with every point you made & have always thought this about the brand since I first got into using them. My biggest issue with tf is that they don't seem to know who their target consumers are. I would NEVER give any of their makeup or any other products to a younger girl. Some stuff is completely inappropriate & even if it was a product that was ok for a younger person I still wouldn't gift it because I wouldn't want to encourage them to get into the brand & then discover the inappropriate stuff on their own.
Harvey is sooooo beautiful. His curls are gorgeous. Jena, I really love your videos. Your so well spoken, your content is informative and comes across as very genuine. Thank you. :)
I loooove this series haha. Definitely agree about their branding being all over the place. I criiiiinged so hard when they released the glow job mask. I mean, clearly adults aren’t the ones who are going to be buying a pink glitter mask... I can’t even imagine being a parent and having my child ask me to buy them a “glow job mask” 🙄
The damn girl is completely different on my eye lashes! I’m surprised you didn’t notice a difference! I really love it. I also really enjoy that is doesn’t have “sex” in the title too lol. I agree, their packaging is very childish but the names of the colors are super sexual. I really don’t like when brands use sexual terms in their marketing.
I completely agree with the inconsistency of the formula. It's become so that I only buy the products in the tin Packaging. I also agree that its marketing is indeed too faced and confusing and I definitely find it more offensive than Nars. I love it when you do these videos on your thoughts about more than the actual products. Definitely want to see more!
Hey Jena. I just lost my Goldendoodle after 13 years. He was my heart and soul. I am devestated. I am alone now, since my husband of 40 years has also left me. I need a puppy in my life. I absolutely love Harvey's look. Could you please share with me your breeder's website...if there is one. Thank you so much. I live in New Jersey, but I'm willing to travel anywhere to meet a good breeder.
Would you consider adopting a dog instead of buying from a breeder? There are thousands of dogs being put down because nobody will adopt them. There’s a rescue dog to suit every type of person :)
Maybe I am the only person in the planet Earth who hate the better than s...x mascara. Idk, no lenght, no volume, smudge, falling in my eyes, my face :(
y m !!!!! Yesssss I do not understand the hype at all! It doesn’t keep my eyelashes curled and the volume goes flat after ten minutes. I only wear it on my bottom lashes so I can finish the tube 🤷🏻♀️
5:42 “just peachy mattes” pallet, can confirm that it has good colour pigment. the bright peach colour is so stunning. also durable - i used the dark brown eyeshadow as an eyebrow powder and it would last all day
I am very careful about what I buy when it comes to sexual tendencies. My husband was listening and he was confused. Especially with the mascara names. I don’t buy things that are very “adult” in names. Mostly because my husbands job. I could care less about the names. But if someone was to ever ask me the name of a product, I just can’t say orgasm or super orgasm, deep throat to someone in my church. Since my husband is the pastor there. How embarrassing? 😳 also, my daughter is very curious. I frankly do not want to have to answer that question to soon.
Loving the Harvey! He looks like a cuddly teddy bear! I actually have the natural lust and love it because I reach for it when I want a softer look or when another palette doesn't have a transition shade.
I do not purchase too faces anymore due to the inconsistency. They are confusing! My niece is getting into makeup and I definitely do not purchase this brand for many reasons, one being the names used for there products. Love the video!
I have to be honest, as a teenager 16+ I knew well enough about sex and heard it plenty all through school and with boys etc and I’m not saying it’s right to have sexual names but I also think 90% of teenagers have heard far worse in school halls and dealing with boys than with a makeup line. I really enjoy too faced makeup and sometimes I like the names honestly it makes me feel pretty and I like to play around with makeup and have fun. 😁👍🏼 I don’t agree with everything the creator does or says but I really don’t so much have a problem with names and packaging.
Jena Froese I guess it’s desensitized me 😂😂 but I will say they know feeling sexy will make things sell so to sell you that image or feeling ups the sales. Also cute puppy 😁
I agree and a lot of cosmetic companies do this. Nars urban decay mac etc..basically If you are that worried about the names you better keep your teenager out of ulta and sephora 😂
I think the marketing department should be fired. The names shouldn't be disgusting.... For any age group! What has happened to our country? We're so unclassy now.
I really loved the 3rd point and how you said "too faced" with what they are trying to do! Also, I appreciate that you don't care about PR and keep your opinion in public without any fear!
I agree with all 3 things! That turned me off the brand all together 🤷♀️ I would rather spend my money elsewhere.. And on top of that they do some shady things 🤔
I totally agree with the Target market split. I honestly never quite know if TF is “for me”. I’m 41. I don’t want “play” makeup with cartoons and garish colors. But a “glow job”? Definitely not for the schoolyard. I tend to avoid them completely because they’re confusing.
I agree about too faced market but I think they know exactly what they are doing. I don’t think it’s appropriate for a brand that has the cutesy packaging and caters to a younger audience to come out with such provocatively named products...
I’m gonna be 50 in a few weeks and my favorite palettes are Two Faced in the tin packaging. I don’t even pay attention to the names of the shades. But yeah I bought Natural Love a few years ago and it was terrible. No pigment at all to speak of. I gave it away.
I got the Christmas tree set last year and I liked it. Not the same quality for sure but not bad. I’m glad you pointed out the similarities between pretty rich palate and the palms palate! Too faced, tarte, and urban decay are my major weaknesses and I have almost all of the palates they’ve ever made!
I agree about the eyeshadows, however you didn't talk about the foundation/face make up or their lip products. I enjoy both Peach Perfect and the Born This Way foundations. In any case, thank you for doing this video! It's good that creators like you are putting thought into their make up buying decisions and sharing with your audience. Getting out more truth in makeup and getting us to think about it and question what brands are doing is a good thing!! Keep churning out these kinds of videos! 💗💖💝
I like too face and their packaging is cute. Kids are so much now a days that those names for their products are tamer than things I see on RUclips or in movies.
I was thinking the same when my husband bought me some stuff from too faced, the fact that the mascara and many names of the shades are more adult oriented and then the packaging just screams kids/teenagers its kinda weird...
I like too faced eye shadows, the good quality ones, and their original mascara is my favorite mascara ever. I think they are trying to capture a wide range of consumers but it is up to the parents to manage what their kids are buying.
Okay totally off topic, but I just stumbled upon your channel while snuggling with my 6 month old boy and he was just smiling at you the whole video. Must be your pretty smile! My oldest daughter was dying for the unicorn festival palette for her 10th birthday, so too faced definitely targets the younger crowd as well. I am so glad to know the tin eyeshadow palettes are where it's at if I ever do purchase from them!
I’m that person who really likes the off the beaten path colors. I got my White Peach (and Subculture) palettes on discount from TJ Maxx and I am really enjoying them, and the White Peach formula, specifically! Besides the few shimmers in the palette, which are not exactly soft (but gorgeous!), the shades are generally buttery smooth and it smells divine! I’m wondering if Just Peachy Mattes is similar and if it would be worth it for me to buy. Its a little warm toned for my taste.
You are so right about this brand. I love their foundation and concealer however I find myself trying to avoid them as a company because of the marketing. That Pretty Rich line had a lip shade named DSL! I have the originals sweet peach palate and natural lust. Each has shades I like however I have too many shades I don’t like to try anything else from them.
I think I'm the only one who likes White Peach!🤣🤣🤣🤣 To me the formula is great, just as good as the tin packaging palettes I have and Just Peachy Mattes. However, i DO realize it is a palette of literally ALL transition shades. So that's what I use it for.🤣🤣🤣🤣
I prefer mattes over shimmer and glittery eyeshadows. The shimmers and glittery ones work better as a highlighter. They emphasize how puffy my hooded eyes are. lol
@@katelynnlee5158 I love shimmers and foils!! And I have hooded eyes so bad that I have a lid the width of an eyelash. And yes, I'm the psycho that measured it!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's all about placement!! And finding tricks to make your lid appear.......like we have one🤣🤣🤣
I agree 100% with everything you have said. I bought a holiday palette in my 20s and it was horrible. I'm 37 now and bought my first holiday palette again this year. The reason I bought it was 50% off and you got a gloss, mascara, and a eyeshadow palette for $22. I figured if i didnt like the palette this time around I'm not out any money because the gloss is sold for $21. Hopefully I'm not going to be to disappointed.
I completely agree that TF vacillates between markets. It's one thing is both young and old are drawn to the quality of your product. But to put innuendos about "facials" and "DSLs" on one collection and then a cutesy gingerbread couple on other in crazy.
That's so interesting that you think the damn girl and better than sex mascaras perform/look the same. I've tried better than sex in the past and been less than thrilled with the look it gives (plus it flakes like crazy on me), but received a sample size of the damn girl mascara and love it. It just goes to show how different makeup can perform on different people!
I agree with all of the points you said honestly. Yes even the last one, probably more than the rest. They really have no idea who they are catering to 🙄
Agree with you on the holiday kits. I bought one that had a little planner with eyeshadow and a mini mascara. Worst eyeshadow ever, I was really surprised! I bought one of their chocolate palettes earlier so was expecting much better quality.
I agree about the tin packaging except the Naturals one I have isnt nearly as good as the mattes in the Chocolate Gold palette or the other I have. Since I got it at TJ Maxx I am not complaining but I rarely use it because its quality isnt near as good. Overall though, I love their products. They dont burn my eyes and their foundation & blushes don't break me out.
Machine Manufacture is usually pretty cheap in the US and lets you say "made in the USA" kinda. Hand work/assembly is EXPENSIVE in the US because of the minimum wage requirement. It's cheaper to ship the components off shore and back to pay far less for assembly.
The last item I bought from Too Faced was semi sweet chocolate eyeshadow palette. Its was de cluttered 2 years ago. Since then the brand stopped appealing to me and became forgotten brands along side with LM, Make up Forever, KVD & Tarte.
I don't think I have ever had too faced palette. I just have the peach foundation. Can't remember. That's so wierd that the formula is so inconsistent. Also the founder I'm not a fan of. That rich lives matter cake pissed me off. I think it's funny that they throw in the better than sex in their sets so much. I agree on the last point, they go with cutesy or the sex themed.
I agree with you especially with respect to TF's target audiences. TF seems to be geared to adolescents and young adults. It's unfortunate because some of their formulas are very good and would have universal appeal, if not for the immature themes and packaging.
I am an adult and the cutesy packaging does appeal to me because I love cutesy things- but some of the shade names make me cringe hardcore. Especially the shade “Cinna-moan” UGH THE CRINGE 😫
OMG! I’m in love with that dog! How cute is he sitting there looking like a person and so sleepy. Absolutely adorable!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hope you had a wonderful trip!
I’m probably the unpopular opinion against your audience but I love too faced! I’m 40 and couldn’t afford high end or luxury makeup for a long time. I think the quality is there in the Sephora exclusive this year for sure!! I do agree that they are probably trying to market to a wide audience and a few shade names are a bit cringe worthy in that regard. I enjoy watching your videos :)
I bought the Christmas Tree Collection from 2018 and I love it! Bought it after the Christmas sale. And it’s the only one I use. And I love it! But since they repeat eyeshadows I wouldn’t mind having some of the same colors. And I’m buying the 2019 collection after their Christmas sale. And I have always loved The Better Than Sex Mascara. I have the thinnest eyelashes ever and ever since I used the mascara makes my eyelashes pop!
1st- Harvey is adorable! 2nd- I completely agree about Too Faced. Tin packaging is always consistent and I’ve really enjoyed my Too Rich palette. Love to hear someone say what I was already thinking. 🙋♀️🙌
I have Too Faced white peach, tutti fruity, chocolate gold, this year's ginger bread house x'mas collection. I have to say, you are right about that, although white peach is the inferior of them all but the colour works really well on me, just really takes time to blend. Surprisingly, the Ginger bread house's pallete is amazing, not as good as tutti fruity but still easy to work with. I just love the colour scheme of it thou.
Hi Jena, the only palette that I own from TF is the chocolate bon bons. The naming issue is definitely a problem. It doesn't send a nice message to the younger impressionable audience. Yes, lots of giggles I'm sure...😉
I agree and the first time I noticed was a few years back when they had a TF eyeshadow palette with a shade called "sugar walls". My husband who is a bit older than me pointed out that it is the title of a song from the early 80s that is talking about a lady's body part.
I just bought the natural lust pallate. So far so good. Its a good product for me. Also the Christmas set Let it snow girl that fame out last year at Christmas as limited edition -is amazing. I love the eye shadows. The highlight in that set- is my new favorite.
I think this is a great video and what a wonderful idea !! I appreciate your opinion and knowledge, I did review both the extra spicy and the Christmas cookie and I did too see a difference but I will say the Christmas cookie is not a bad collection at all !! I have almost all of Too Faced eyeshadows!
I agree with you about everything ! I only have the chocolate bar gold palette from two faced but I’ve heard the formula in the cardboard packaging isn’t great so I’ve have stayed away from it . I really want the gingerbread xtra spice palette but I actually wish the packaging was different . Not quite so cutesy . It’s been making me hold off on buying it .
Thanks for spilling the tea! I sent back several cardboard pallets😩 Do you no where I can get my hands on the pr package the pink fridge by two faced empty? I’m putting something together and that would def fit in❤️
I wanted to get the Christmas Star palette (the one that comes with a bts mascara and lip gloss) and I swatched them and the formula seemed pretty ok? But I heard too faced is inconsistent with their formulas so idk if I should get it
My last purchase was the just peachy matte eyeshadow palette and I had return it. Everybody hyped on it when I got my hand on it, it perform patchy and it doesn’t blend well as I remember. I love the girly girl package but I wish the formula was on par but I haven’t truthfully brought anything too faced. I feel like anything limited edition and holiday for most brand is not in par with the permanent line so I’m iffy on all limited edition items.
Hey guys!! Hope you enjoy today’s video! 😘😘😘 I’m currently spending my last day in Italy today, then tomorrow I’ll be in Paris and then we have our traveling journey back home! xoxox

I love the packaging and quality. I only have the tin packaging ones tho. And I never noticed the names!! 🙃
Girl I 100% agree with number 3. They have lots of sexual names but then cutesy kid stuff. Very strange
They are "Two-faced." Get it?
Very immature reach for market segment, whatever they think they’re marketing for. Not unpopular opinion, it’s a pretty accurate observation. Yes to tin eye palettes. I have 4

Totally agree with the mixed marketing. It feels like they’re training young women to devalue themselves. It reinforces the old idea that a woman’s worth is only measured by her sexuality and desirability.
Kamloops Cruise exactly 😐
Exactly why I refuse to purchase from them anymore. Makes me sick...😒
Right, tween packaging and overtly sexualized marketing.
I really like the "better than sex" mascara - but hate the name, it just feels cheap & inappropriate for a younger crowd.
@@DeeArbel Idk I mean it could be interpreted as there are better things than sex. Since it doesnt appeal to everyone.
THANK YOU 😊❤️
Nars is always adult. It fits.
TF coming out with literally cartoons on packaging with adult names; it’s weird. I don’t like it.
The parent who is
carry kids makeup! The parent who is concerned and watchful will not take her daughter to adult makeup stores with all these adult makeup brands' products that have sexual names all over them. ;)
I find this to be pretty accurate. And dang, holiday stuff.. nope, nope and nope.
Also... PUPPY!!!!!!!
Mel Thompson makes no sense to me, thats when new customers are likely to purchase or be gifted and they should try to hook them.
you can bring Harvey everyday, don't mind, truly LOVE HIM 😍
jacjorjac1 Jennifer Phillips Me too!! I just love him!
Harvey. I couldn't hear anything after that.
Harvey is the sweetest and always welcome ❤️
Totally agreed with the marketing thing. I bought the chocolate gold and gingerbread spice palettes and since then I won’t buy anything else from them. Ever since the Rich Lives Matter cake, they lost me as a customer
Amanda M Castillo Casiano yep, exactly.
Same
Don’t they mean rich lives, and not “persons with a lot of money”s lives matter??
Heather Miyakawa It cosmetics holiday palettes are always great. But that’s the only one I can think of that is consistent.
It’s actually the opposite, their limited edition Christmas pallets are always the best ones compared to some other generic ones.
@@eggy0lk333 sex jokes are legit so popular amongst teens and it shouldnt be taken that deep but rape jokes are a bit far.
100% they know their audience and how to make their audience feel grown up and edgy. Whilst still appealing to the young and those who want to be young and fun.
Harvey is now required to be in all of your videos from now on. Google mandates this.
Thank you. :)
Awww Harvey looks like a sweet little stuffed animal I love his tired fluffy self 😍😍
I do too!! 😍😍
Harvey is way too cute. He just wants his belly rubbed mama.
Haha! Thank you Meaghan 💕💕
You should screen shot the part where he licks your ear for your Christmas card. He is so damn cute!
I love the the just peachy matte palette is my only Too Faced palette.
Thank you Iris!! ❤️❤️
That's a nice message. I hope you received a response!!
Thank you so much Amber. I haven't gotten a response, and probably won't. I was totally off topic. But it was so sweet of you to respond.

I think It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara delivers on the Better Than Sex mascara promise. And I mean the enhanced lashes...
I was underwhelmed.

5:42 “just peachy mattes” pallet, can confirm that it has good colour pigment. the bright peach colour is so stunning.
also durable - i used the dark brown eyeshadow as an eyebrow powder and it would last all day
Your dog is too adorable!!!! Keep him coming!
Omg I remember the boys in my high school.. they were vile! 😂💕
Jena Froese I guess it’s desensitized me 😂😂 but I will say they know feeling sexy will make things sell so to sell you that image or feeling ups the sales. Also cute puppy 😁
Thank you girl!! 😘😘
Thank you girl!! 💕💕
Yes Too Faced is literally a two faced brand-they can’t choose who they want to market to! Lmao
I agree with all 3 things! That turned me off the brand all together 🤷♀️ I would rather spend my money elsewhere.. And on top of that they do some shady things 🤔
I only ever buy things from their born this way collection, theres nothing wrong with them tbh.
Love watching you! Your positive energy and laugh is so infectious. Keep up the great work creating and reviewing!
It borders on pedophilia
I've always had a thing for Too Faced packaging, but the names make me not want to purchase their items. About time someone talked about it😍
I’m gonna be 50 in a few weeks and my favorite palettes are Two Faced in the tin packaging.
Oh my goodness! I just want to thank you for addressing the marketing stuff with Too Faced! And the marketing with brands in general. 🙌🏻 get it!
Harvey just melted my heart. CUTEST PUP EVER
You are spot on about the differences in quality among the Too Faced palettes. Harvey is sooooo adorable, btw😊
HARVEY IS BACK!!!! I love him! 😍❤
Love this style of video, really helpful and not like every other beauty RUclips vid. Thank you! Hitting subscribe x

I think I'm the only one who likes White Peach!🤣🤣🤣🤣
To me the formula is great, just as good as the tin packaging palettes I have and Just Peachy Mattes. However, i DO realize it is a palette of literally ALL transition shades. So that's what I use it for.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amy P and Dirty too ... I like white peach too!! but I prefer light wash of color easy looks. i’m not into the insta editorial looks.
Im always a skeptic when it comes to holiday palettes.Good info! Your dog!!So cute!!
I agree I think NARS markets at an older audience and therefore their branding and marketing is geared towards that.
Janelle Miller I love the damn girl also but didn’t care too much for the better than sex!
Since then the brand stopped appealing to me and became forgotten brands along side with LM, Make up Forever, KVD & Tarte.
thank you so much for this Jena! its so sweet of you to do this kind of videos💞
Totally agree that that brand name fits the marketing to two distinctly different audiences perfectly!💜
You literally said everything that I always say about too-faced LOL
Haha! Don’t worry! They do have some great products! 😘
You’re so pure and down to earth
Aww thank you :)
Harvey is the cutest Teddy Bear in the world 🥰

Hi Jena, the only palette that I own from TF is the chocolate bon bons. The naming issue is definitely a problem. It doesn't send a nice message to the younger impressionable audience. Yes, lots of giggles I'm sure...😉
On me, too faced mascara sucks & flakes like crazy!!
Flaky, dry and clumpy. Plus I hate the gigantic wands- it's impossible to apply without making a mess out of myself.

i have had 3 palettes.. i loved the white peach! Why didn’t you like it??
I love my white peach. I do not get why people hated it. Mine is highly pigmented and blends so well!! There is no fall out and I wear it everyday.
That’s awesome!! I wish mine worked out! :(
I agree and the first time I noticed was a few years back when they had a TF eyeshadow palette with a shade called "sugar walls". My husband who is a bit older than me pointed out that it is the title of a song from the early 80s that is talking about a lady's body part.
Omg!! I had no idea! 😱
I just bought the natural lust pallate. So far so good. Its a good product for me. Also the Christmas set Let it snow girl that fame out last year at Christmas as limited edition -is amazing. I love the eye shadows. The highlight in that set- is my new favorite.

I used to buy too faced when I was younger lol like 6 years ago and then just outgrew the aesthetics. my last purchase was the sweet peach palette.
I agree with the tin packaging, it really is the best formula for too faced eye shadow!
But I heard too faced is inconsistent with their formulas so idk if I should get it
This years xmas collection is amazing and worth it :)
I agree with you. When I try the holiday collection at Ulta and I am like....no.
You are so naturally pretty and sweet! I enjoyed this video and all that you shared about this brand. Thank you!
Thank you so much! :)
