Me too! It's currently snowing and 24 degrees out here in NH and I am itching for the rivers to thaw. I pass the time by working on home projects and getting a carp setup together for the spring
@ same here in germany man. although the lakes arent frozen i cannot be asked to deal with freezing temparatures. no better time than right now to upgrade the tackle and resell the old. always my favorite part of the year. the new tactics and plans for when spring starts
Smallest carp I have ever caught was around 2 or maybe 3lbs. I always thought the real small ones just ate alga or plants. Look like a nice day of catching, kept you busy. You have the damnest luck catching weird looking fish. Fun video thanks
You're right, they start out eating plankton. Not sure exactly what stage they start feeding on larger stuff. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks David.

Nice honest video. I love that you keep it honest and don’t doctor it up. You’re my favorite no BS carp fisherman. Thank you for your content.
I really appreciate that, thanks for watching!
Hey tom, can you do a video on rod set ups? reel sizes, braids etc, would appreciate it and im sure others would as well!
All of the gear and tackle that I use is listed in the video description of every video. Feel free to check it out. Thanks for watching.
I miss fishing, only 3 more months till spring boys :(

We went out January 1st, and I caught a 17 pounder!
A day of catching “dinks” is still better than frozen water and sitting in front of the tv!! Thank you for the video Tom!!
No doubt about that, haha. Thanks Scott!
10:06 Wow! Almost looks like a Golden Shiner hahaha
😀
You'd get out further filling the spool with more line you never have enough in the spool.
Thanks for watching!
@@OutsidewithTom You catch more carp and bigger carp than anyone I know, can you image how many more you can catch if you just fill that spool up
You broke your personal least twice in one day? Excellent! Time to break out the micro fishing gear. lol.
😁
Can't wait to get out again.. It's -3° here at 2pm, goes up to 7/8° next week though. Most of our lakes are frozen at the minute.
Great video. Keeping coming. I am almost out of the tiger nut I will be ordering more soon.
Glad you liked it, thanks!
Nice catches bro❤👌

Glad you enjoyed!
You beat my personal least by quite a bit. The smallest carp I ever caught was probably 6-7 pounds.
Most carp I catch are about thirteen pounds
Nice, thanks for watching!
