That multiple choice question is deeper than we know. If you can’t change a timeline since that would just create a branch that means the timeline where the Avengers defeat Thanos using time travel is unchangeable. They can create branches but they can never alter the events of that timeline meaning if it does create He who remains he is truly inevitable. Meaning they have to destroy 616 in Secret Wars to undo the thread that gives birth to he who remains. Or maybe they will need to protect that timeline to ensure he who remains goes on to dominate Alioth and defeat the other Kangs
The rumor is that He Who Remains will be helping the Avengers fight Kang the Conqueror.

DUHHH
jonathan majors was such a good choice for kang
Duh
We have yet to see how good he will be
SO GOOD, can't wait to see him flex his acting chops in phase 4. He has such incredible range and fearlessness as a performer
@@osvaldorubalcava9721 he's gonna be good. It's Jonathon majors!
He's a great charismatic actor but, Kang is not charismatic character so the jury is still out but, I'm sure he will make a memorable performance as did Thanos/ Josh Brolin
That makes sense that Kang would have planned for the 616 Thanos to be successful so that the avengers would have to time travel to get the stones back. And the fact that in the sacred time line, the avengers were supposed to go back in time but Loki was not supposed to get the tesseract even though it fell right at his feet, is obvious planning by kang so that Loki would eventually get arrested by the TVA, team up with sylvie, and both of them finding he who remains.
I wonder if there's some hidden reason why they have those metal detectors at the TVA checking to see if "someone is a robot". What if it's because Kang has had problems with Ultron in the past. Like multiple skirmishes with Ultron, Thanos, The Avengers and whoever else.
Or Doombots. And not the crappy throwaway Doombots but the Doombots that are exact replicas of Dr Doom and believe that they are Doom himself.
Lol Voss’s mouth not matching the words after about the 7 minute mark tripped me up at first 😂
Hey NR, Prof X doesn't have the power of Telekinesis.
Yeah, I got confused when he said that lol
yes to everything you’d said EXCEPT “Charles levitating it out of Thanos hand” - Charles is a TELEPATH not a TELEKINETIC. He has latent telekinetic powers that is currently being amplified in the comic books via his x headgear device thingy however in, film universe, it has never been showcased.
Professor has a minor level of telekinesis
He is an Omega level telepath but he has decently strong telekinesis as well

I wonder how many Kang Easter eggs there’s been that we’ve all missed
My mood watching Marvel haha 😂
Hell yea
I think the closest we will get to this matchup is a small piece of dialogue. "I killed Thanos many times while you struggled even once." Something like that. I see it as Kangs way to justifiably flex his strength to the avengers before a major fightscene.
As quickly as Thanos figured out that nebula was time jumping, i would assume this is also a reason for Kang to have him erased.
He only figured it out when he saw footage of him fighting a war and dying against people he didn't know and haven't met yet. So of course he would come to that conclusion.
@@ItsFireTiger he did know some of them lol. He even tells tony that. And I'm sure he could've just as easily thought they used the time stone in some way. Point is he has an incredibly fast thought process.
Let’s not take away from Thanos to promote Kang. Thanos is one of the greatest and most memorable Villains of our time. But I’ll be watching these movies and Disney shows to see how all this fits. But They need to leave Thanos’s legacy and image alone. Kang the conquered is a mighty Villain in his or their own right. They don’t need to deminish Thanos to big up Kang.
Factz I agree
That is True but Kang can actually Kill Thanos anytime he wants cant say the same for Thanos
@@quashaeyoung ok. But what does that have to do with deminishing Thanos’s character? We all know Kang is powerful. We’ll most of us that are really into comics any way.

From what I've seen of Jonathan and other interviews, he's usually pretty talkative and if he starts getting cagey, he probably doesn't want to open a branch of questioning that'll probably get him in trouble.
I’ve said this before I’ll say it again. Folks are overlooking how important Multiverse of Madness is gonna be moving forward when Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars comes out..
Personal opinion here:I like to think the 616 timeline is/was isolated from the others at the end of the war. All others have always been but when he who remains died it allowed the sacred timeline to rejoin the rest. Now it’s “fair game” for another kang to come and conquer. All this to say he who remains trained/allowed his universes hero’s to become strong enough to repel his variants and become “self governing” or independent. Maybe that’s where we’re leading up to with secret wars
I am subbing to everyone:)
Earth 616 is not a timeline. It is a universe among the multiverse.
@@edgardoybanezjr.2857 they’ve been using the terms interchangeably though. And the season finale implied that universes are separate timelines.
I think each universe has diff timelines within it. Kang’s depiction of universes showed each one stack on top of each other. The beginning scene in the Loki finale showed the same.
@@bluntbreak and 616 was the sacred timeline until he who remains was killed?

Lol Jonathan is not really a big spiller in these interviews but I’m actually glad. Everything doesn’t need to be explained in great detail will see everything soon enough lol
I'm so excited for Phase 5!!!!!
I can’t entirely pinpoint the reason, but this got me excited for the next phases for the very first time
It seems other universes defeated Thanos on Titan, as seen in 838. Dr. Strange probably saw way further than we thought and knew about Kang so he needed Tony to invent time travel to defeat Kang later
Inventing time travel gives rise to Kang though.
Yeah, dickhead strange saw kanv but elected NOT TO TELL ANYONE.
Good one

I'm really excited for the mcu timeline you're doing
Great video! Awesome!
I have a question, is the tva just preventing further nexus multiverses from only the 616 timeline?
And if so, does that mean another main timeline (ex: next kang god or a main kang from the citadel of kangs) will now have its own tva??
And if so, does that mean that timeline existed on own for billions of years looping to not interact with the ‘other kangs’ timelines and therefore had its own tva the whole time as well????
And if sooo, is that where Loki ended up at the end of season 1????????
🤯
I'm gonna say this for everyone, the 838 battle with Thanos might have been so amazing. Thanos with his armor plus the infinity stones!! they outsmarted him on pure technical skills. if Marvel just went a little harder with their characters, we could have had the most epic infinity war, with Thanos properly using the infinity stones in combat, because we didn't get any of that. I mean he had the reality stone, power, space, and soul stone, he should have been unstoppable at that point.
But he lost to Sorceror Supreme 838 Strange with the Darkhold
@@Ntimidation no , he lost to the book of Ashanti
The Book of Vishanti gives whatever is needed to defeat the enemy.
The infinity gauntlet only gives the weilder omnipotence and makes aware of many things but does not grant omniscience and that is how whoever has the gauntlet always gets beaten because they are all powerful but not all knowing and don't know all possibility to everything at all times. That is never allowed to be combined omnipotence and omniscience.Yiu can only have one at a time but not both at the same time so that there is always a way for you to be able to lose.
It wouldn't have been epic. Strange had the book of Vishanti which essentially works like a Uno Reverse Card. Imagine Scarlet Witch vs Illuminati. That was lame.
7:00 - Professor X can't levitate things. That's not his power.
I was about to post the same thing...his power is telepathy and mind control not telekinesis
Yeah was shocked to hear , maybe mistaking him with jean
He has minor telekinesis just not a major power for him
@@excutsdaily7335 if he wears special headgear which he wasn't at the time
@@excutsdaily7335 Where do you get this from?
It’s not that hard to see what happens at the end of Loki,
Bricks were pulled from the wall, making it easier to break through to other branches
The more the wall was tampered with the thinner it became
damn this is well said Loki lol
Kang didn't script 838, Kang scripted the sacred timeline, 616, which was the ONLY timeline until the sacred timeline branched into multiple causing the multiverse.
That only accounts for the kang we met in Loki season 1, he who remains. Now that there are branches, each one has its own kang controlling their own timeline. Who’s to say which kang we meet in quantumania. But i honestly don’t think we’ll understand all of this until kang wars. Or just read the comics to get a gist of what their trying to do
Not really..the mutiverse always was there and the branching was just a way to expose the prime timeline to every other ...also the prime timeline is prime to us and MCU ...its fictional but say for 838 there is an audience watching and an MCU there too so for them 838 is their prime timeline. Do read History of the Marvel Universe by Mark Waid..Its explained bautifully there !
The multiverse existed from the very beginning (as Kang's existence makes clear). it didn't just start with the events of Loki. The branching we saw in the final episode was the multiverse returning, not appearing for the first time. The entire concept of a "sacred" timeline was just fabricated by He Who Remains to keep the TV motivated. In reality, the TVA's objective was to prevent the appearance of Kangs in any timelines, that's what they were really doing with all the pruning.
Is Kang more powerful than the watcher?
@@UltraDude2000 no, Kang is just a time traveler from the 31st century. On his own he's he's not more powerful than Thanos. What makes Kang formidable is the fact that so many of him from various realities exist, all trying to conquer the multiverse. But they're not working together, each one is operating individually, against any others.
The Kang bang is a-gonna be AWESOME 😎. ... Can't wait 🎉
Professor X doesn't have telekinetic powers.
Maybe is why Thanos was so cautious in intervening at collecting the stones knowing Kang is watching.
Doubtful, I think he was probably gonna go regardless, I think Odin frightened him, he attacked immediately after ragnarok it's like he waited for asgard to fall, tbh odin thor and loki would shit on thanos, odin alone would
@@advocateofkaos3246are you sure about that?Thor can’t beat hulk and hulk beat up Thor.Thanos is a trained fighter
@@lochofmceo Thor can beat Hulk though.
@@dowogenesthedog7186 when? Thor was getting his shit rocked
@@lochofmceo it was hinted at in Ragnarok and without a hammer.
7:02 Professor X can move things with his mind? I thought his powers were to read and control other minds.
This is an interesting concept!
@NewRockstars They should totally do some kind of Kang montage in the logo flicker along the way of him doing stuff like adding the long distance call disconnect message when Vers first hotwires a payphone to contact Yon Rogg just as Fury and Coulson turn up or Miss Minutes jobs in the multiverse is to set these things up and send the rat over Scott's van, and a million other lost thread type moments.
I can’t wait for kang to explain all this, past events, future etc. you made a good point 616 invented mobious so maybe kang keeps 616 around so he plays out but the others he kills thanos before end game.
Is it possible both these two timelines needed to happen this way because THESE are the two timelines that the original two kangs that met each other were from?
I actually wonder just how much Kang influenced Tony somehow to end up finding the formula to Time Travel. Also I wonder if Kang planted the rat that brought back Scott Lang XD
"I'm just here so I don't get fined" that's a whole mood
I find it hard to understand that Kang allowed Quill to go nuts on Thanos. If Strange knew it would happen then and more importantly for Kang to even script it out then Kang had to do that for a bigger reason.
To make the avengers lose and have to invent time travel to stop thanos, building on the tech himself and using it in the future to control the timeline
Great Video!!!
Now i'm wondering if Dr Strange knows about Kang or not from when he used the time stone in Infinity War.
He who remains is locked out of time for a reason. He's a variant from a timeline that no longer exists and had to remain outside of time itself in order to not seize from existing. The multiverse had to be open again to grant him "freedom". I'm assuming it had to be Loki and that events had to play out the way they did to ensure Kang succeeds
It's subtle, but based on how the Illuminati appear in the scene on Titan (after the Thanos battle), I question how much participation they would have really had. Strange looks to have been beaten up pretty well whereas the others seem to be pretty much unscathed; imo, his wounds don't seem to necessarily be just because of his use of the Darkhold. But I digress, I love videos that delve into these types of converstaions / analysis! :D
I'm expecting big things from kang I honestly have no idea how the kang arc is gonna go or look. I'm blind
Amazingly subtle product placement there
I hope there's a universe where Reed Richards yells "gomu gomu no!" before he uses his elastic powers.
HAHA Jmajors looked so excited to be there
Thanks a bunch! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
An that fast Thanos has Been reduced to a pawn. I love it lol.
This is why I like voss, he is good at explaining
Super early for once! Love you guys
So Kang is just Rick Sanchez? Cool.
Other way around but yes lol
pretty much. Rick was very much like a constantly drunk asshole variant of Kang. Council of Ricks. Council of Kangs.
I thought he was gonna bust out that Tiege Hanley 😂
Janet was chillin in Kangsters paradise
You'll never convince me that Peter Quill DIDN'T F it up for everybody
Kang’s big brain gonna big bad.
UH OH,.....super secret project incoming. SOOoo excited!
I'm not a comic book reader so I can't vouche for that material but when has professor x ever demonstrate he had telekinesis abilities? Or was their a confusion on telepath and telekinesis?
He Who Remains didn't orchestrate the events we followed as viewers. More likely, he was trimming timelines but missed the one where the Avengers time-travelled which ultimately led to the multiverse branching out again.
Wish i was smart enough to understand lol. Anyway love these videos and thanks for the uploads
Yeah it's going to be great when they reveal all these movies as being part of a huge "What If?" finale.
ding ding ding
My brain can barely comprehend all the timeline stuff happening, so I just listen and hope I understand
Yall are the truth thank you
Kang is always portrait as invincible but only beaten by ants.
Exactly
Thanos vs. Kang?!?!? I'd get your popcorn ready if we ever saw that 💯💯💯💯
i love the idea of Prime Kang being a descendant of 838 Reed Richards
Pretty awesome theories. Your channel is the best 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Congrats guys your doing more creative writing in these videos than marvel has put into any of phase 4
Actually yeah that makes sense especially considering that every other universe seems to have vision alive
In the MCUs universe that moment where they almost one the infinity war was heartbreaking.
will the major project youre working on, have an answer to, is loki that "died" in infinity war the same loki that escaped in endgame/battle for NY???
The Kang/Reed family tree is kinda messed up.... I just looked at a pic of what it would look like. 🤣🤣🤣
In Kang Dynasty Kang definitely fights. If anything Kang tries to be more physical then use is time based powers because of pride
It would be awesome to see kang vs thanos
So my view on the sacred time line is that he who remains destroyed all the branched timelines/multiverse. Once he was killed it undid everything through out time. Meaning his death actually sparked the multiverse that he destroyed or atleast the universes that had other Kangs.
I perfectly understood Loki S1, I'll tell everyone else after s2.
The only thing that doesn't make sense is the branched timeline from Loki and Sylvie kissing. It shouldn't have had an effect seeing as how they were at an apocalypse.
Would be dope to get a shot of kang killing thanos in a random timeline
I was thinking that
How did they kill Thanos on Titan? Looking at the body, they still didn't "go for the head" 🤷♂️
Also, Kang probably needed Thanos to win in 616 as to stop the celestial from ending his genetic line (earth exploding).
They didn't use darkhold to defeat the 838 Thanos, but the book of Vishanti
Thank you!
He even says to Mordo, you probably gave the darkhold to get strange to use it bc ur jealous n want to be sorcerer supreme
Nevermind I got it
I think Majors was short with his answers to avoid the Kevin Fiege snipers
Me personally I love this
At the end of Loki I took it like he was one of the good Kangs, and made the "Sacred Timeline" to prevent another war. And allowing the time travel tomfoolery in 616. But i haven't read the comics, so yeah.
I thought the name on the computer screen in Loki said Thomas
Nice theories but Prof X doesn't have Telekinesis
The place where Kang lives looks like a broken Australia (or Oz?)
is it just me or is the video not properly synced up
What if He Who Remains created this branch timeline away from the original 616(one with mutants and inhumans and Fantastic 4) timeline so that Nathaniel Richards can’t be born and no more Kangs can come into the 616 branch timeline other that He Who Remains
Charles X cannot levitate objects. He is NOT jean grey. >_>
just making stuff up to make a video, what a life to live
Would be interesting to see Kang as a brawler variant...
That multiple choice question gave me a legit headache
838 Illuminati didn’t defeat Thanos with the Darkhold, they defeated him with the Book of Vishanti. I just rewatched the movie a couple days ago, so it’s fresh on my mind.
There are several opportunities for Nexus events The gauntlet almost slipping off of his hands. Or thor simply making the shot and aiming for the head. Those are two small instances right there that could have ended Infinity war
I just realised a thing, isn’t it a bit weird how the Richards surname remains on the family tree for a full millenium?? In a thousand years there would be a very big chance that the surname changes
Right, surnames often change many times in just a few decades. Especially in families that have only daughters for many generations, which is something that does happen, not to mention the many branches of family trees that can form through brothers, cousins, etc. I guess we could use suspension of disbelief lol.. to retain a single surname, unchanged, would be a major cosmic fluke.
It;s possible rhat even the women who married would keep the Richards surname given how significant Reed and Sue are
It’s also possible that it did change and somehow came back around
maybe it came to nathaniel through another Richards family down the line
