Our special formula Foam Guard PVA vinyl emulsion sealer is designed to extend the life of new foam edges by preventing moisture absorption, microbial attack, and UV damage. Dries clear and flexible. One bottle will treat 4 to 6 speaker surrounds. It is also used on professional speakers to seal and treat fabric or cloth cone edge suspensions, and to seal and dampen paper edge cone. So easy, even an old codger can do it. Resurrected a pair of bookshelf speakers that travelled the country in my custom van in the very early 80's. They sound great, now I know why I saved them so long...longer than my original wife by 3 years.
    Thanks! I just wish those tower speakers she talked me into throwing out were still here.
    Great product, really informative video. I will be recommending Simply Speakers to everyone

    How necessary is this in addition to the regular refoaming job?

    • @simplyspeakers
      @simplyspeakers  6 месяцев назад

      Optional. But a nice add on if you are in a high humidity area.

    Do you have to let the glue completely dry before you apply the sealant?

    • @simplyspeakers
      @simplyspeakers  Год назад +1

      Yes. Allow all the glues to dry completely prior to applying the edge sealer.
