His team mate had no awareness . Blocks the stairs, standing still in the open, Standing still at the window whilst knowing theres someone watching the building and looting literally seconds after killing a guy in the open. All he needed to do was run, Instead he hangs around long enough to get killed so they had to stay at the building until he gets back Ultimately dying in the building.
