This idea was great, except I would do that if you get first you stick with that combo for the next round. It doesn't lower the odds for the future rounds so you still get punished for ur previous mistakes but it guarantees your safety for the round after it.

This was intentional. Falc was playing online with the community (people watching the live stream) Before each race he would keep reading out the kart combinations and everyone would change their setup to match what came up on the roulette. It was just something fun to do with the community

@Itsa_Zombie I think he's saying imagine if there was a gametype where you are given randomized character and cart selection
How's this? You start with the first row of characters (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach). Then you do a match, if you win then you get the next character unlocked but if you lose you lose your character. I feel like this is a good way to do it.
This just taught me that Falcon isn't particularly good at Mario Kart. It's okay man, happens to the best of us.
to be fair, he was playing online against stream snipers. so at least he's not losing to Nintendo's CPUs

This was so much fun to join in on, even though I absolute bombed at 200cc lol
You worked hard on setting the rules for the nuzlocke but what about how it ends, I mean sure going for as long as you can is fun but what if there was a finish like playing all 32 original tracks or playing until you reach 15 races online.
Lemmy is one of my favourite characters! I'm glad he saved Waluigi, lol.

3: do an online room with fans
4:just try to beat all tracks because online rooms you can do that

This is a top tier idea, but I feel like you should be safe in 1st - 6th place positions for at least 12 players.. Cause if your character is happy at the end of the race, it should be considered a W or at least survive.
If you get 1st, you can revive someone.

in my opinion, you should do this, but instead of having to get 1st, you only have to get top 3. its still challenging, but you have a higher chance of winning
And getting 1st is a revive.
So I did the math of the chance of peach rolling up in that round AND being safe… GUYS I kid you not. I did the actual math. 1/4 chance he picked peach multiplied by the 1/36 chance she showed up times 100% gives you: 0.69% chance that that happened lmaooooo
36 is how many characters there are in MK8's BASE roster (falc make an error there), there's 42 characters in MK8D since that automatically includes MK8's DLC. Redoing the math of 1/4*1/42 comes out to a 0.59% chance. Still crazy odds though!
Like someone else said a mario kart bingo might be fun, you make a bingo card with both tracks and characters and when you get first place either on that track of with a character you mark it off! Great video!

An MK8D nuzlocke is a game of 12 races where you have to try to get every race position from 1st to 12th in any order but if you repeat any position, you restart.
Would you consider playing fortune street on the wii? It’s like Mario but no mini games and sticks. Sounds complicated but it’s easy to catch on! You can really screw people over

Easiest difficulty suggestion: Max stats for you, worst stats for everyone else, 50cc, easiest AI possible. They won't stand a chance.

I know people kept saying to hold onto the coins but each coin gives you a speed boost. 10 is the max boost you can get. It's usually a good thing to have 10 coins
You can't get a coin item if you already have one. That's the strategy.

I think an interesting version of this would be it doesnt remove a character if you medal but you lose the cart parts too if you dont. Have a wincon of 1st place in x number of races.

You only use either 1 column or row of characters
You have to get first in all cups on 150 or 200 c.f. (add dlc if u want)
Whenever you lose a grand prix you cannot use anything you used in the grand prix so that means vehicle wheel or glider and obviously character
the run ends when you either get first in all cups or you lose all of you characters
