    Congratulations on the collaboration with Takomo. They look slick. And that speed slot is helpful.
    Everyone that was with you early on, knew you were going places. Your personality and attitude are what winners are made of.
    I got a Ping 430 fitted last month. First time I have ever done that. My swing speed was still over 110. I couldn't be more excited about gaming it.
    The fitting exposed how bad my previous driver was for me. The difference in spin rate is crazy.
    The Ping spins almost half as much as my old Nike driver. It will be a rocket launcher.
    Now, I just need to update my irons to a newer set with the strong lofts and more forgiveness.
    I'm leaning towards Cleveland Zipcore XL.
    This summer is going to be the summer of Par's. Not bogeys.
    You might have to change the name. 🤣

    Personally, I don't understand why any high handicap player would prefer a blade putter. I'm about a 12 handicap but two years ago I was 15-16. To me the mallet style putters give me so much more alignment help that I can't ever imagine using anything slimmer. In fact, when I first began to take golf more seriously a couple years ago I did have a blade putter and when I switched to an Odyssey Stroke Lab 10, I experienced an immediate improvement.

    • @BogeyGolfUK

    • @canuck_gamer3359
      @canuck_gamer3359 6 месяцев назад

      Trust me brother...I am the farthest thing from a natural lol. But I would bet that you'll have better results with that putter! You hit the ball farther than I do, you are younger than I am and you're bigger than I am....if I can do it, you can do it! :) @@BogeyGolfUK

    • @Vnam72

      High handicap here. I have had mallet and blade and find the blade much easier to align and judge.

    • @canuck_gamer3359
      @canuck_gamer3359 6 месяцев назад

      I think it's the longer line on the mallet that helps me. I use a line on my ball and I do my best to get that lined up and then the putter behind the ball fits almost like a puzzle piece and that visual is what makes the difference for me, but obviously everyone is different. Whatever works, right? :)@@Vnam72

    Range balls too? You might be even longer with “proper” balls. I find I get 15% to 20% more on 7 iron and longer and about 10% more on 8,9 and wedges. I dont want to be that guy but you definitely arent swinging from the inside. You are swinging over the top. The clubhead is outside of the ball on the downsing. You early extend as well… literally the first thing that moves in your downswing is your right leg towards the ball. You wont be hitting a draw. That is either wind assisted (looked pretty windy from the flags in the distance) or you are aiming right and pulling it left which will inevitably be a hook a lot of the time. You must take huge divots on grass as it looks extremely steep. Watch some of the shots back in slow mo.

    • @BogeyGolfUK
      @BogeyGolfUK  6 месяцев назад +1

      I’ve been trying to bed in the swing change for a while now, I’d say 1 in 5 of the swings actually follow the plane I’d like, hence the happiness after the 8 iron 😂 it’s a working progress for sure 🙌

    I enjoy watching ur content but I think these numbers are a bit inaccurate, 20-25 yard gaps in irons can’t be right, if your 185 yards to a pin ur gona be either way short or well over the back doesn’t make sense why ur irons would be gapped like that, if your hitting a 7 iron 175 ur around the 90mph club head speed, by the time u got to driver u would be around the 110 mark which would mean ur driver should go around 285 not 254, I would like to see a video using a quad or trackman to dial ur numbers in better and have ur clubs adjusted to narrow them gaps, with that kinda speed u should be in the teens handicap

    • @BogeyGolfUK
      @BogeyGolfUK  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey man, I find a lot of discrepancies on course too and these numbers aren’t averages. Some were struck better than others and I deliberately try to swing easier with driver as I’ve always struggled with it 🙌 but yeah good feedback I’ll get on a trackman next time 👍

    • @theidlemouse1394
      @theidlemouse1394 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@BogeyGolfUK yeah I can understand discrepancies on course if u don’t have a consistent strike but 25 yards is excessive, u have similar distances to me in part and more than me in others which the wrong way round, if your hitting a 200 yard 6 iron then a bad strike should be 6-8 less but even if u base ur 7 iron in the middle of your bag the numbers u get should be roughly 10 yards between each club up and down the bag till u pick where u want the gaps to be which is usually at the top of the bag, I personally don’t carry a 3 wood so that’s where my gap is but I never use one
