Dude, you are an absolute natural on camera and so easy to relate to. Love watching a fellow 24 handicaper go thru the ups and downs of this amazing game
Thanks Dennis for the enjoyment you bring. Never see you angry and you have improved immensely since you first started. Always make me chuckle at some of your poor shots which i can relate to. Keep producing those videos as they are great.
Well in for a fantastic round Dennis, love your enthusiasm on the course. I broke 100 for the first time in January, but scored crazy high the last two rounds I've played. Watching your videos is inspiring for the attitude one needs to show on the course! Respect.
I wish the courses near me were that playable! but we've had near constant rain for like 3 weeks and nearly all are closed. Those that arent are a bog, ball plugs on every fairway. Looks like some nice courses up there. Next time I pass through staffordshire for work I'll need to check them out. Thanks for showcasing them!
Really well played man, so happy to see you accomplish your goal! It was nice to see this after chatting with you in the shop! Really entertaining video!
103 to green. Using your sandwedge. That’s nice. My sand wedge only goes 56 haha. And welcome back. Our first driving range opened this week. It still has 2 feet of snow on it 😅
Good start to the season for you Dennis! Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was a good round of golf. I shot a 123 my 1st rd, and 8 years later I broke 80 on a good course. Practice makes better!
Dennis, you have all the tools, you are young and have size and strength that many of envy and those things can't be learned. You just need to loosen up! Trust me (please trust me because I've been where you are, so I know the path to improvement!), work on your takeaway because you are a tad too wristy there. And second, work on forward shaft lean at impact, that will eliminate those scoop wedge shots that come up short. Those two things alone will lead to big improvements in a very short time! Best wishes and keep up the great work, it is always fun to watch and your attitude are nothing less than inspirational to many of us!!!
Free advice is worth the price lol. But I only offer those thoughts because they helped me and I'd love to be able to help you :) Keep up the great work, you're a good man.@@BogeyGolfUK

Glad i subscribed. Then i can say i remember watching you play when you struggled. All coming together driver, irons short game wow massive improvement.Enjoyed video well done Dennis.Wow that 7 iron on the second was pure class.
At 1:26, it's interesting when you say that is "way right" given your body and club head at address seemed to be pointing right. I am very new myself and I make this error all the time, I feel that aiming is really hard for some reason. At the driving range, we have our aim more or less given to us for "free" by virtue of how the mats are laid out. But on the course, it's all you. I guess to practice aiming at the range, it may be useful to try to aim somewhere else besides where the mat is laid out by default.
I noticed the same. Best to get an alignment stick and aim for something else at the range other than the way the mat is facing. Don’t choose a target that’s too far left or right though, otherwise your ball might hit the ball from the person next to you!
Well played Dennis on a tricky course and cold conditions. There were some great shots in there, shouldn't have been surprised after watching your recent video at the range where you hit the ball well there. Wish I could hit my 3 wood like that first time out of the bag on a round.
Higher handicapper here... One thing I noticed is that in the winter and the temps drop, air is denser and the ball doesn't fly as further as in the summer. So those 100-120 yard shots where you need to be sure about the distance... maybe club up as long as there is no danger of going a few yards long.
Love your videos, Dennis, so relatable. Also, your happiness is infectious! Just wondered if you ever work on alignment? Your feet always seem to be aiming right of your target. Maybe that is camera angles, though!
Your game is coming along nicely buddy I’ve only been playing for less than a year now but really looking forward to getting some rounds in once the weather improves 👌
Great round Dennis! Pured a good number of them! I’m looking forward to your next round. You and I are about in the same boat- I’ve found Tom Saguto here on RUclips to be extremely helpful on developing consistent contact.
Hey from Australia 🤙Your game play is so relateable for me as a 28 handicap player. Whip out some awesome shots, then not so awesome shot lol. Still on that break 95 mission myself. Love the work mate, keep it up.
Love the content, played some great golf there mate! I think you’d certainly shave some shots off if you try and move your alignment more left. You’re always aiming so far right of the target and makes you cut across the ball
Awesome content brother! I don’t know if it’s camera angle or just me but you seem to line up pretty far right of your targets. Excited for the content coming!
My swing coach says when putting whatever your backswing is you match it with your follow thru! Noticed on a few you stopped just after the ball on a 12 in backswing.
I love watching you. You are really improving. I have one problem which is the pitching on to the green, i loose so many shots but went to ping chip r and i tell you it is makes is so easy to chip on and run out with out leaving it so short as it is jus a putting motion. Makes a massive difference to my score. May be worth a look?
I don’t mind the bump and run with a 9iron say but I’m guilty of preferring loft. I want to be as confident as possible if I’m in a situation where I need to go airborne 😂
Some unsolicited golf advice for you.. do you use an intermediate target when lining up your shots? Just noticed a few times, like at 1:27, you hit where you aim but your aiming was way right.
Have followed you from the very start. I said you would be mid handicap by now. My timing might have been out but I know you will get there eventually especially with your yardages. Silly mistakes made this round but I have faith in you.
Six months ago you had kinda a weird take away in your backswing, now it looks so much better and natural, I don't think it will be long before you're shooting in the 80s, well done!

Pick a point 1 m after your ball, visualize the line from that point to the ball, align your feet. If it feels weird aim again and reassure yourself that your standing wrong or your perception is messing with you. Note: I'm a 24 handicap myself, take my advice with a grain of salt..
