A stupid point from Batman, cuz he obviously knew Sumerman won't do anything to him. If it wasn't so, he would definitely make some real harm to Superman while he was weak instead of childish punches.
What's funny is that instead of running towars batman, he could have simply flew directly into the sun and came back down to finish the job, or batman could have just planted the Kryptonite spear on that floor while superman was weak and killed him, Batman wanted him to suffer so he dragged it out and superman's to pure to just outright kill him.

4:25 that scene is just pure savage. Generally whenever Superman is injected with krypton matter, it severely degenerates his strength, making him so weak that he cannot even stand on his two feet, but here we are seeing Superman in action even after getting infected by krypton radiation. This generation will always remember Henry Cavill as Man of Steel.
The character was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and debuted in the 27th issue of the comic book Detective Comics on March 30, 1939.
He had his Batwing on standby, if that were to happen. And ngl that would've been f*cking cool to watch, how Batman gets into his Batwing in mid-air after somehow incapacitating Superman.
This is definitely a Civil War rip-off (well, except for the part where Superman died, that pretty much is original). Before you protest or go for my head hear me out: Batman deciding to take action after MoS fiasco? Sokovia Accords. Lex Luthor? Helmut Zemo The inclusion of Martha (Kent, ofc)? A loose adaptation of the Stark murder. Hell, even the way Bruce recruited Barry is a Tony-Peter copy. Barry coming home from school and finding Bruce there, agreeing to come with Bruce without a second thought... The only difference is that Barry doesn't have an Aunt May.
This looks amazing, seeing a fuller shot like with Superman hovering with the laser eyes (1:13) is just great. The original wide screen aspect ratio is could look too thin to a point you can't see the form of the person in the frame.
These versions of Batman and Superman deserved more than what they were given on the bug screen by WB, I don't care what anyone says, Ben and Henry were iconic in their respective roles and WB threw away a chance to create something spectacular from these two actors portrayal of the DC characters.
As per the comics, Bruce here is old. Past his prime. But he still takes a fight with Superman. The thing which sets Batman apart is that he is a mortal man who is afraid of NO ONE! 🔥
I love the armored batsuit here, because it's really not a powered machine suit rather the original batsuit is inside and the armor is just thick plates with advanced tech for more layer of protection, it's so cool.
3:04 I like how Cal El isn't any good at close quarters hand to hand combat when it comes to dodging Bruce's punches because he would never of had to do that before being made weak.
The thing is even Batman knows how powerful is Superman but still he becomes ready to fight with his full potential .. that is how we should face difficulties in bad times.
In the time it took Superman to say "Stay down! If I wanted it, you'd be dead already," he could have said "Lex wants us to fight. He's gonna kill my mom. Please help."
As true as that is I saw it as showing Superman still needs to mature as his ego is getting in the way here. At that point he'd have every reason to believe Batman is zero threat to him and that Batman would give up pretty quickly. He didn't bet on coming up against the one human who would find a way to kill him. The JL Snyder Cut showed how much the characters were going to change for the better by the end. What others see as mistakes I see as flawed characters growing.

When discussing the pros and cons of Superman and Batman, two iconic superheroes from DC Comics, it's important to recognize that opinions on this topic can vary based on personal preferences and interpretations. Here are some general points to consider: Superman: Pros: Superhuman Abilities: Superman possesses extraordinary powers, including super strength, speed, invulnerability, and flight. These abilities make him an immensely powerful and effective superhero. Symbol of Hope: Superman is often seen as a symbol of hope and inspiration, embodying ideals such as justice, compassion, and altruism. His unwavering commitment to doing good can be an inspiration to many. Moral Compass: Superman is known for his strong moral code and sense of righteousness. He consistently strives to protect the innocent and uphold truth and justice, even in the face of difficult choices. Cons: Overwhelming Power: Some critics argue that Superman's immense power can make him less relatable as a character. His abilities sometimes lead to the perception that he is invincible, potentially reducing the tension and suspense in storytelling. Lack of Flaws: Superman's character is often criticized for lacking significant flaws or internal struggles. This can lead to the perception of him being less complex or relatable compared to other superheroes. Batman: Pros: Tactical Brilliance: Batman is renowned for his strategic mind and exceptional detective skills. He uses his intellect and resourcefulness to outsmart his enemies and solve complex mysteries. Human Vulnerability: Unlike Superman, Batman is a human with no superhuman abilities. His vulnerabilities make him more relatable and showcase the triumph of human willpower, determination, and resilience. Dark and Complex Persona: Batman's brooding and dark persona adds depth to his character. His internal conflicts, driven by a desire for justice and his traumatic past, make him an intriguing and complex superhero. Cons: Lack of Superhuman Abilities: Critics argue that Batman's lack of superhuman powers puts him at a disadvantage when facing powerful adversaries. He relies heavily on gadgets, which some may view as less impressive compared to superhuman abilities. Dark and Gritty Tone: The darker tone of Batman's stories may not appeal to everyone. Some individuals prefer a more light-hearted and optimistic approach to superhero storytelling. Ultimately, the choice between Superman and Batman as the preferred superhero often comes down to personal taste, as both characters have their unique strengths, weaknesses, and storylines that resonate differently with individuals.

The 4:3 really makes this feel mythic. Since using this aspect ratio has become popular again people call it "pretentious." It's quite obvious those people have never watched anything older than they are. An open matte, 4:3 ration is stunning in how much visual information is packed into a frame. Snyder knows how to fill a frame. I also don't think this film gets enough credit for how seamless the various practical and digital elements are.
When discussing the pros and cons of Superman and Batman, two iconic superheroes from DC Comics, it's important to recognize that opinions on this topic can vary based on personal preferences and interpretations. Here are some general points to consider:
Superman:
Pros:
Superhuman Abilities: Superman possesses extraordinary powers, including super strength, speed, invulnerability, and flight.
Cons:
Overwhelming Power: Some critics argue that Superman's immense power can make him less relatable as a character.
Batman:
Pros:
Tactical Brilliance: Batman is renowned for his strategic mind and exceptional detective skills.
Cons:
Lack of Superhuman Abilities: Critics argue that Batman's lack of superhuman powers puts him at a disadvantage when facing powerful adversaries.

Snyder knows how to fill a frame. I also don't think this film gets enough credit for how seamless the various practical and digital elements are. This is one hell of an immersive scene (and film in general) due to Snyder knowing how to "dirty up a frame" with texture, grit, contrast, atmosphere, etc.
Superman’s only weakness is he holds back 😂😂
Superman's only weakness is his humanity.

The quality of this is simply superb! Love this movie, despite it’s ratings, I thought it was phenomenal.
‘Watchmen: the Director’s Cut’ is still the greatest Superhero film in existence.
Fight me!
What a Badass ! Staring death in the face and daring to confront a god barehanded... much respect to Superman for his bravery !
you mean batman?
@@thisisanewusername4662 no, read my comment carefully... the god here is Batman... a god in a human body.
Batman fangirls are cringe
Barehanded..?? He was already on his peak with his superpowers
Fr batman is a joke
I’ll admit the movie takes forever to watch if you’re not 100% on board with every action and dialogue delivered. But I still thought this movie deserved a 3.5/5. The background music in this movie was iconic
*”All that.. for not even a drop of blood?”*
