Well supposedly they have been working on a new update. If you check out the PC version of it u can find that they are updating the game, but have not made it public yet (tbh i have no clue how to check it but I've seen images). So probably we'll get something in January
My guess would be if we get a season 2 it will be announced in February due to January being sparking zero dlc and March is the new Bleach game. If not they will either scratch season 2 fully or they might do a dlc bundle once the Boruto anime returns in 2-3 years just like they did in storm 4.
They could do the same thing they did with storm 4 with the road to boruto update and make a "Road to Two Blue Vortex" expansion where they make a story about the end of NNG or the first arc of TBV. Imagine the hype if Time Skip Boruto was playable.
Well I get what you mean but the year just started guys. Give them a little time before giving up on them just because they didn't release a character on January 1st. They may even have to wait til Feb. I know its frustrating when there’s no official news of what/who/when but it takes time to work out the bugs of the new models/techniques/etc. especially if its a new mode and don't get me started on if its a new story mode. We'd be lucky if we get a polished story mode like that late this year. Like I know we want everything now and not have to wait but do you guys want tons of bugs or wait a few months to let them work things out? Can’t have both unfortunately if you want something impressive.
Thank you for understanding what my intentions were and not that I was trying to start anything 😇. Again I wish we could get awesome games immediately and with no repercussions of getting them so quick but sadly that's not how at least THIS universe works. If anyone knows about how to contact a universe that IS like that, please let me know. That'd be super cool (as long as the employees who were working on the game that quick are healthy and not worked to the bone in order to 😅)!
The connection unfortunately is so bad here in Brazil that i dropped this game . Delays and lag switch every single fight. The other storm games were way better for me and i had a very bad connection at that time (Generations back in 2012)
the copium in me would say their working on a new naruto project. the storm formula is obviously done for. so if they stopped season 2 for rn to develop a new naruto project. i wouldnt be so mad. then again idk how game development works. so they may be separate teams for stuff
