Why not explain with pictures what circuitry was updated on the crossovers like you do with the other components. It would be great for consumers to know what exactly they are buying in comparison to the standard 702 s2.
Me too, but I find them very warm and less airy than my previous Paradigm Premiere 800F... which have a poorly designed port which causes really bad chuffing. I still like the 702 S2, but if they were a little more airy, they would be phenomenal. I love the sound signature of the Persona 7F, but they're ugly, out of my budget and made by Paradigm.
New crossovers and circuitry and tuning. So it might be a whole new speaker in terms of sound. And the finish of the speaker- not comparable to some paint...
@@carlosoliveira-rc2xt I read the specs here in OZ and they are exactly the same in specs, except for the fancy cabinets & I think the S2 actually has larger base drivers and cabinet. 702-S2 here is OZ retail for $6900.00 aud & 702 signiture $8900.00. $2000 extra for that fancy cabinet. The good old aussies get rooted up the rectum for our hard earned cash as usual.. Im buying a pair of the 702-S2, but they aint getting a extra 2k outta me for a fancy box and plaque.
You mentioned you have upgraded the crossover why don't you show the crossover? B&W never show detailed photos of crossovers and the internal bracing of the cabinet .
Thanks for the review on the 705 signature. I just picked up a pair at Best Buy for $2639. I Compared them to Kef R3 for a good listening session.put on some steely Dan and rocked the house.that mid range just sounded much better on the 705 signature . don’t get me wrong the Kef is a good speaker if I didn’t have the 705 to listen to now I have to find the proper amplifier. Thanks again .

They are beautiful pieces, I have my eyes on the 705 sig but I’m not sure technically they are worth the 2700£ as an upgrade to my 705

Bright, that’s wrong. They are crazy good for the money. You will need a very good amp, try the musical fidelity 6si.
