Fun-Fact : Dream glued his mask for a long time. So he drilled some holes next to his eyes. And he just kept it for years. It was still painful trying to get it off. When the comments started to say the face reveal. But he wouldn't do it. So he had to do what he had to do for his fans. Trying to remove the mask.

While MeatCanyons Dream animation was bizarrely disturbing in showing the duality of Dream, this was outright horrific, as Clay has fully fused with his alter ego. Once he separated the himself from it he revealed the true horror behind Mask, a hollow shell of a human whose true ego has manifested into delusion. Maybe it was good to conceal his true nature, to not unleash the dangerous monster underneath and hang onto the last shreds of his sanity as a whole. But all dreams come to an end, and he must now venture forth into reality, exposed to the dangers of the outside world with nothing left to protect him. He must grow, but the persona he created and became was ultimately key to his survival.
That’s what the point of the mask is.
Yet Dream rejected it... Rejected the very armor that protected him, and chose another, more complicated, more hard and disturbing but true option... He chose to grow from himself and repent for what he has done to his face... Not only he has a cunning ways to defeat George and Sapnap... He defeated himself and chose to get.. Real
