King Performance Chess Computer - A simple modification

The King Performance Chess Computer comes without batteries, delivered only with a power supply. If you want to run it from battery then you have to buy their own battery pack, or make one of your own. I decided to make my own battery supply. The plug is 5.5x2.1mm which is a very common DC plug.
My next DIY project related to KP is to make a box for an old, unused camcorder battery which I plan to use with the chess board. That way I get a rechargeable battery pack for my chessboard almost free of charge.
