I used to love crawling into the battery compartment lol. NOT Inevitably, I would get in there and realize that I needed a tool that was up top. It was always tough in rough water.
Nice. Looking for van Build video seen a sail boat and stood. Nice. But also note AGM Batteries are not at being below 50%. That's why the sell those lithium rich people batteries. You could flat line them. Lol. When I hit the lottery I'll buy me a couple of battleborn batteries. You know the rich people one... Haha nice love your sail boat good luck..⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️
Would you recommend programming your actual battery capacity, and just never drawing below 50% (AGM Batteries), or programming the usable capacity so that the hours remaining would be correct?
Came here to see the install, stayed for watching you squeeze in an incredibly small space.
Lol. The joys of boating

Thanks for watching. I'd love to get some lithium batteries one day if I win the mill. 😉

I like to see it with the usable capacity so I know what I have left. You can set a low voltage and ah alarm to tell you you're below 50%
@@ACRFishingAdventures Thanks. We just got ours in, and I will be installing it over the next couple of days on our rig.
I just got mine and I am running it with 100amp hrs battery. Don't know what size cable it's supposed to have.
Just wondered why you went for the Renogy rather than the Victron? Sail Safe Guys, Ant, Cid & the pooch crew.
No real reason. It had good reviews so I went with it.
How bout far cheaper..$209 verses $75 or so.
Very true but it t doesn't have the same features to compare
Nice video! I just got a similar unit and installing it soon as part of my electrical refit, which includes new solar panel and controller.
Awesome. I think it's a great addition
Best thing belongs in the junk yard why you dumping money into it that's a death trap if I've ever seen one
