I remember when this game came out. It was a break through in every possible way for the "next gen" ps2. Graphics were jaw dropping for its time. Nothing came close.
@@Maal7432 They were both good. Its a little redundant to say one was better than the other. Id tak either over today's madden. They were two different but still two great interpretation of NFL football. I would say 2k1 was slightly better but it really comes down to preference. Both were high high quality games, even by todays standards which ill admit aren't great because of the mediocrity that is next gen madden
This game was released 19 years ago. Yet the video here portraying this fantasy Super Bowl XXXV was not only better than both the actual one (Ravens over Giants) and this year's Madden, but hell, it was 10 times better than this year's actual Super Bowl!!

J. S. 2k on dreamcast was better. 2k1 was the shizzzzzz. Madden just had a bigger marketing budget and awesome commentary.

Hands down still my favorite Madden game ever. You can't lose with John Madden and Pat Summerall.
