That horse you immediately hunted down and tamed is one of the four horses of the apocalypse you can tame. Pestilence resides along the edge of Tall Trees and has an aura of disease and sickness. You can also find the other 3 Apocalypse horses, a unicorn, and you can hunt the Chupacabra in Mexico.
The war horse can also be found in Tall trees or New Austin, it usually depends where. Famine on the other hand was harder for me to find bc I never knew where to look. And you unlock Death at the end of the story and that one was the best because it killed zombies instantly upon touching them
If you'd had a real life encounter like I did (July 28th, 2018, Paul Bunyan State Forest, MN, 10 PM), you wouldn't feel bad at all if they were wiped out.
I still remember playing this back in the day on 360 way after it came out and my game glitched to where zombies were just walking around like normal npcs. I was confused so I shot one then all of the zombies turned on me shooting me with guns XD

I remember being in my last year in Primary School (2010/2011) and everyone was talking about RDR1 from what you can do in the game to the story and cowboy setting. I grew up in a pretty rural area so most people in my class spent more time outside than gaming so they're not big gamers besides the big ones like Call of Duty Black Ops or GTA IV. So it was really interesting to hear them get excited for RDR1 and even my dad watched me play and was interested in the game for the setting, really only played racing games with me or WW2 era shooters like Brothers in Arms or Call of Duty 2, 3, and World at War. So I have strong memorises with this game both RDR1 and Undead Nightmare in both single player and online with my school friends.
I actually stopped playing the original RDR very close to the end when Marston finally returns home to his family. Canonically in my mind, he died at the ripe old age of 95 from being kicked in the head by a horse he was shoeing.

I love how, even though Kev still makes fun of the good games like he does the bad ones, you can tell that he enjoys them. The jokes are more lighthearted and he doesn't rip into the game as much because, well, there's not much to rip into about a good game. They are, by definition, good games.
I think this was a pretty clever concept. I mean, zombie movies and videogames are usually set in the present or like 10-20 years in the future, but making a zombie game set in the old west with cowboys is actually pretty creative.
The awesome music in this game combined with the unique combo of western with zombies AND supernatural creatures made such a unique and fun experience! I loved the humor and I pray to this day we get a sequel to it
I can remember my Dad playing this dlc to death (pun absolutely intended) and he still asks me if I've heard anything about a remaster. Hope he gets one some day; it always looked fun :)

If you have the disc then you have to go into the system settings and delete the latest patch for red dead redemption, then when you open it just never download the update and it should be fixed. Something about the latest patch released in 2013 added all those glitches and bugs and rockstar never bothered to fix it
Nah bro, the moment you see a headless zombie just jump a cliff or throw a dinamita near, then respawn on the nearest position, that will fix it until it happens again, sorry but there's actually no way of fixing it unless you delete the last patch,but you won't be able to play online, BUT with the first method you should able to do it so, good luck
@@rubentorre1345 Tbf deleting the patch is the best option. Nobody really even plays online anyways it’s just cool to play as dif characters from the story mode but it gets pretty boring after a while. Glitchless undead nightmare is the more fun option

RDR’s multiplayer was absolutely amazing, I remember going to the fort in Mexico and using the cannons and Gatling guns on players with my posse, a full siege. Also absolutely loved the game modes, my two favorites being the undead game mode where you survive with other players and gang shootout
I just finished the original Red Dead for the first time the end of 2022. I started Undead Nightmare, but it was pretty tricky and difficult. I should go back and finish that as well so i can move onto the 2nd one.
Let's be perfectly clear, Rockstar has a great reputation for their big budget titles. However, they are also low-key known for absolutely botching remakes and ports of their older titles and never maintaining their old games. They make great games but their higher-ups have no qualms with trampling on their legacy for an extra buck.
Aahh yeah the lovely DLC that sadly broke the multiplayer and made the online game an unplayable mess and R* never cared about that and random modders (me included) had to do R* job to at least make it playable again to keep the awesome Multiplayer Alive until some 1 fucked it up againe it was a nice full time Job
i still own this game i just love the glitch that makes the game think normal people are zombies or the one that makes zombies have no head or when it makes the zombies humans and you have to kill them to finish a mission

I didnt play this game until a few years after it came out with my buddy after his parents put a tv in their 5th wheel and let us hang out in there all summer lol even then i suprised with how much you could do in the game and the dlc is still one of the best ive ever seen thanks for the nostaglia

Undead Overrun in the multiplayer mode was so damn fun I miss this
I love this game, but there would usually be a glitch where the zombies and npcs ran around without heads and they wouldn’t die 😂
I remember in my Xbox one the normal human npcs would have their head and arms invisible, but if they are wearing a hat you could see a hat floating
