What a like from this guy is he uses different combo routes if wants a setup for denjin charge, for more corner carry, for efficient use of drive gauge or just for more optimal damage, a character specialist through and through.
It's amazing how many different characters he faced in such high level, which shows you how balanced the game is on such earlier stage of the game's life.. Well done Capcom

At 3:32 Jamie flashes blue to parry, and Ryu flashes at the exact same time to drive rush. I've heard that the parry freeze often gives players a medium kick instead of their intended parry. If Paladin did this intentionally, that is some next level strategy.

Conversions are flawless. Ample route exploration. Godly reaction times. Impeccable execution. This man isn't a Master, he's a Warlord. It's very hard to be that sharp in the heat of battle. Too many moving pieces, but he pulls it off. Impressive. 👍🏻

And the match afterwards at 1:50 he starts with a flurry of hadoukens, then baits the last "hadouken" with a hashogeki when he knows the Zangief will jump in order to recover in time for an anti-air
That's awesome, would love to see him meet Daigo. Dude has the game down to a science, and Daigo has skills too. This reminds me, I need to get an arcade stick just for Street Fighter 6, because this game wasn't meant to play with the DualSense.

@@floridaman7206 you can hold parry while in the animation of other moves and buffer dash near the end of the animation to get immediate drive rush afterwards
3:20 it’s crazy how after he gets hit with the first hadoken he’s actually just dead, there was actually nothing he was able to do against the second one
These rounds are too cherry picked... Sure this Ryu player has insane combo and burst potential and is not afraid to blow all 6 bars within 5 seconds of the round starting, but I think we would learn a lot more from watching full matches, so we don't just see the "combo video montage", but also the reads, adaptations, and neutral game.
So this shows me Ryu isnt that bad if you get the mechanics of the game down to a science. He utilized dr like its second nature. Still think Ryu got hosed in this game but this is proof he can be good.
Guile was dizzied after the Drive Impact blowback to the wall while in Burnout. Notice the Drive Gauge lock during the dizzy. As soon as Ryu starts hitting him, it resets the gauge and with the combo end dropping Guile to the ground, Burnout also ends, and fully replenishes the gauge.

He’s a PC player. So probably using “hitbox” that’s likely the reason why his specials and supers come out so easy
