Since you dont play the g-golem package anymore, wouldnt it be more wise to play Kaitoptera instead of Rex even without Poly? Kaitoptera has not the drawback with direct attacking and also has a small protection effect.
Yes I probably should’ve mentioned that. Although I might potentially play a diagram package because set rotation is a really good card, which in that case would keep the earth for litho most likely. But otherwise yeah the attacking directly probably is slightly better on average than Rex having the high atk stat
Playing the diagram package with Fenrir is usually my go to if I choose to play it at all. There have been many times I just had a jank hand that happened to have Litho and Fenrir.

I replaced linkuriboh with relinquished anima, which functions the same way. Instead of going into secure gardna, i link it with scrap raptor for wyvern
I think going forward this makes the deck a much more hard going 2nd deck as most of our combos are 2 card combos instead of the 1.5-2 card combos that linkuriboh enabled so we need the 6th card to better our odds so we should play into our strengths. Our deck is fairing a lot better though than others for having hard negates as options still in dolkka and lars. I'm definitely leaning into the almiraj, dharc package with the addition of a litho package and secret village as the going first tech and would recommend other dino players trying it out as even a lars, uct, and dharc with the field spell offers a lot. I'm also considering for recursion the gigantozowler but am not fully sold yet. I think the photos package is crazy but only going first which shouldn't be our game 1 goal so maybe side it for now. Also i know dino players hate the scrap package but some sort of rank 4 extender package would really help validate the extra nemeses engine into either protos or if you prefer the corridor/collosus line. Good to see your prompt responses though.
Going second should be good if the format allows it to be. Them not banning stuff like puppet lock, calamity, etc is unfortunate. The secret village line isn’t very good as it gets annihilated by Nibiru. Protos blind isn’t the best but it isn’t a bad card going second either as you can just drop it if you draw it and floodgate their follow up. Scraps are not the worst but please don’t call them extenders lol
@@ReversaL_YGO 1. That's true. With the way the format turns out we will see. 2. The dharc line can get hit by nib but doesn't always depending on your hand. 3. Scraps aren't extenders if you start with them, but they quite literally are if you play into them through your baby combos.
@@_thebigsteve scraps raise the ceiling on your combos. They can’t extend your combo unless you are already playing. If you are already getting that far then you are already fine

@@_thebigsteve different definition of an extender I guess. To me an extender is something that helps you keep going through disruptions. Scraps don’t do that in the hand and if your combo gets stopped you aren’t getting to them
What are your opinion on overtex qoatilus and book of eclipse. Overtex I can think we won’t use anytime soon but book of eclipse is a decent board breaker
Best deck is still snake eyes which is a link deck so I don’t think eclipse is very good. It’s not a bad side card for some rogue match ups but I don’t see it being good into several meta decks. Overtex is too big of a brick to play since if you draw it it’s basically not possible to summon

Lol I play the wanted package in my deck it does so well I played pre banlist and going second if you start with that package you can literally bait out there interruptions with it before you combo off and if you know you're going second I literally side out that whole package and play a crazy going second dinos list

I agree with you that the real blow that took the deck is Baron's Ban which made the start of ground xenon stronger, however it is a very strong engine compared to the scrap engine which is just a brick besides the fact that you didn't count which could become a ground xenon one card combo in the future if you count me you decide to make a tuner version of baby or petit, protos makes the basic combo lineup better in addition to the fact that you don't consume resources using banshee and rex as summoning material for protos, I also play with eschatos since protos is 30/40, hopefully we will have mixed 2 or 3 #MISTOFREE

Yeah that’s how I would play it if I used the package. Siding out that big of a package can be annoying tho since there’s only so much side deck space

Eclipse isn’t a great choice in the current meta
Utc is just eclipse with teeth
